There was $20 self parking fee was not listed during booking. The hotel staff said "It's hotels.com decide not to put the information. There has be complaints about this and there is no change.

Stayed here for a night and had a great experiance. The Hotel is Beautiful and Modern. The Room Service is quick and friendly. And had a great view with a bed that slept well. The only thing was theat the room was a little small, but the big comfy bed made up for it.

Our stay at the Marriott in La Jolla was perfectly fine. It was a clean well-appointed room. We were only staying for one night, so it was not that important. It was a typical Marriott with everything you need, but no real luxury involved. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and working well. It is the kind of hotel that is fine for a night or two when one is just passing through a locale.

What you need to know: Parking is an extra $20 per day, NO exceptions. Wi-Fi is NOT free; it is about $13 per day in room. I asked for a frig in my room - no extra charge and they brought it right away. The In-room coffee is REALLY good; I was AMAZED. All the in-room coffee I have had before has been horrid.

Oue recent one-night stay at San Diego Marriott La Jolla was excellent and very enjoyable for the price paid. The staff was very friendly, professional and courteous. The room was perfect and very nicely kept. We will stay there again next time!

Hotel's exterior and interior are beautifully decorated. Overall, this is a hotel geared for business travelers, not families or really even tourists. We had two standard King rooms that were also well appointed, however the bathroom with a separate sink area were too small. Also the only closet was inadequate for 2 and there were only 3 small drawers in the dresser alongside a hotel-size fridge. The room had a large sliding glass door, which had a serious condensation issue, with a view from the 12th floor of high-rise office buildings. Ask for the side facing the front of the hotel, I think that would be better. The restaurant was crammed with business travelers (ie; lots of cell phoning, laptops and semi-business meeting going on). The food was expensive and very average. Service was absolutely terrible, the worst I've ever experience in the U.S. So bad that my group of 4 had time while waiting over 1 hour for 2 desserts that never arrived to collectively decide that it was a under-staffing problem. We ended up giving up after making several pleas to no avail. Too bad, this hotel could do much better. Good service is key- they should know better. Pick another hotel until they get their act together.

A little small but it was the smallest room they have. Reasonable price and very comfortable bed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying over night or simply going on vacation. Overall, great hotel.

Internet did not work - understandable, things happen. When I asked for it to be fixed, it took 3-4 hours to let me know that they needed to move me to a different room. Then, it took another 2-3 hours for them to move me. By this time it was after midnight and I had an early morning meeting. Not only that, when I arrived there was dirt in the bottom of the tub.

This was an overnight trip only but the place was very nice. Easy freeway access, rest. within walking distance, I did not have the opportunity to eat at the hotel rest. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. My only minor complaint was that the coffee maker was placed in a cabinet that was designed for a mini-fridge and was difficult to get to, in fact, I dropped the thing trying to use it. Otherwise the special price was very fair for the hotel.

We were pleasently surprised at every turn. The manager even left a personal anniversery note with a little gift at our door. All the staff, from the front desk to the the friedly professionals in the restourants, made our stay the best hotel experience yet. The Salsa dancing Friday night made it all the more special. We highly recommend this hotel!

Rooms very mall. Reservation "lost", had to wait inconveniently while room made avaiable. Room was too small to accommodate my family but stayed due to being tired and no other rooms available.
