"Very clean, modern, and new."
This was our first trip to Paris and I bought my hotel as a package from Expedia. Everything about the hotel was wonderful but is was a little ways away from "Old Paris" and from where alot of the sights were. We rode the subway everywhere and once we got it all figured out it wasn't a problem. Some people traveling to Paris as a tourist might prefer […] a smaller, older, more quaint hotel. "Perfect for our anniversary!"
We came to Paris for our 30th anniversary in February 2013, and chose the hotel because reviews said the rooms were big for a European hotel. We had two super-comfortable double beds, big screen TV, a mini fridge, and a great bathroom. We were in room 421, and there was an ice machine nearby (we didn't care about having a view.) There's a food market […] next door for snacks and drinks. We didn't eat at the hotel, but the cafe always looked busy. One of the concierges, Alain, was a tremendous help several days. The neighborhood is really nice and pretty and safe and not so touristy. There are movie theaters nearby, and brasseries and restaurants. We happened upon Le Falstaff pub and it was such a cool little place with great beer with a younger crowd. There is a huge bus/train/Metro station across the street. We went all over Paris from there on the Metro (also clean, nice, and safe), and rode the train from there to Versailles. A Galeries Lafayette mall is very close. The Tour Montparnesse (skyscraper) is walking distance, and supposedly has a fabulous city view and a restaurant on top. Our favorite restaurant was La Rotonde, which was walking distance. We had drinks in the hotel bar a couple of nights, and one night they had a fabulous piano player entertaining. It was usually busy with business people attending conferences. Everyone was lovely to us and most everyone spoke English. Loved the hotel, the location, and Paris! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"we were NOT satisfied with hotel at all."
we were very very diossapointed with the staff extremely arrogant , not freindly at all . they made sure you know that they are going out of their way to speak english . At one point we caught them laughing at us . the breakfast buffet was th e best thing about thi s hotel and the air france bus stop across the st. we will definatly stay there again, […] i have always booked with hotels.com for hotels in italy and have been so satisfied this was our firts time in paris. our wake up call was missed ..no clock in the room they asked u to opertae teh TV to get teh alarm which was not user friendly at all. when we all messages on the phone was in french and they gave us such an attitude when we asked them to translate or change it to english. i stay in a lot of hotels but this was really the worse hotel i have ever stayed specially w/ theiir customer service. thank you. "Spacious, Comfortable Rooms"
Conveniently located right across from Gare Montparnasse and near several metro lines, this hotel worked perfectly for our family. There are several good restaurants nearby, including a charming little bistro called Les Frangines, and plenty of shops. The hotel staff were very helpful and most noteworthy, the breakfast is ABSOLUTELY worth the price: […] ample hot options, including many that will appeal to North Americans, fresh fruit, good coffee. We'd certainly stay here again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Paris Hotel"
Hotel was just outside city center of Paris in Montparnasse area but there are good restaurants nearby and you can walk to the Eiffel Tower in about 40 mins. The hotel is kind of "hip" and the rooms were nice and clean. I thought the value for cost was very good.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Deserves Four Stars"
The only thing missing was coffee in the room. Also I wish they leave a bottle of water to welcome tired travelers. The hotel is conveniently located. The Metro is within 3-5 minutes walk. The bus to the airport stops opposite the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants of every ethnic food nearby. Those who want to see Paris on their own should consider […] staying here. Our second visit in a week - coming back from Lourdes via Gare Montparnase. Five minutes from getting off the train to the hotel lobby. Got upgraded to a deluxe room, newly refurbished with an extremely comfortable king-size bed and beautiful bathroom. Faint cigarette smell in our non-smoking room, but a spritz wiith cologne took care of that. Terrific […] view from the 24th floor. Service was excellent. Had dinner in the restaurant (because we got in late) - very pricey, but the food and service were excellent. Kudos to our waiter Karumba. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel, Great Location"
Picked it for its proximity to Gare Montparnase (across the street). Room was small but very comfortable. Service was excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was great except at 1:45am someone started beating on our door and yelling open up! Security came but couldn't catch them. Rude awakening for us.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed at the Pullman Montparnasse because it was close to my business meetings. It's not in the trendiest area of Paris, but the neighborhood was clean had plenty of bistros. A shopping area and train station are very close. This hotel is on par with a Westin - spacious rooms, comfortable beds, overall very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for family or business. Great city views!!!"
This is one of the best hotels that I have ever been to in Europe in general. Unlike American hotels, most hotels in Europe are small. This hotel is very much like a hotel in the US with the usual amenities. Their elevators require your room keys to operate. The hotel is also a great place for business meetings with its available meeting rooms. The […] hotel is located within walking distance to the train station which makes it very convenient. The only word of caution I have is getting a taxi ride from here to the airport. It costs about $60-$70 euros but it could be more depending on how many luggage you have as the drivers charge extra for these.Taking the metro to/from the airport would be cheaper but beware of pick-pocketers especially as you get on the train. They tend to work in groups and will block you from getting on and then squish you to pick your purse/wallet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel and location for a visit to Paris"
Hotel was very clean and staff were professional and courteous. We arrived at 11am and hotel check-in is 2pm so we had to wait which was not great after a 10hr flight but they worked hard to get it ready and we were able to check-in at 12pm. That is a good example of how the staff were receptive to making our stay as welcome as possible.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Large Full-Service Hotel, not a boutique"
We were visiting Paris as a family of 4 and wanted hotel near major metro lines and with a comfortable amount of space with air conditioning as we expected it to be hot while we were there. The Pullman Montparnasse was all of that and more. Our room had 2 queen beds, table with two comfortable chairs, large flatscreen, safe, large closet space, a coffee […] maker and a paid minibar. The view was simple city regional but who goes to Paris to look at the views from the hotel room? Our french is limited but we had no issues - the entire front desk staff, concierge and restaurant staff spoke english very well and were patient with our attempts to speak french. The hotel is quiet and located near one of the large stations in Paris for trains/metro so getting anywhere in the city was a breeze. The Montparnasse area of Paris has plenty of restaurants and general shopping for any forgotten needs. One of our favorites in Paris is just around the corner - Le Relais de l'Entrecôte Montparnasse. Best steak and frites in the city... Since we had 4 people, we opted for the included breakfast, it was a great way to start the day. There was something for each of us to eat, we never missed a day to opt for "other" outside choices. In short, if you are comfortable staying in a place like a Hyatt in the US with a family of 4, you'll be impressed with this. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"great location - great service"
We (family of four, kids are 8 and 3) stayed for three nights before heading off to the south of France (Aquitaine/Dordogne). We really liked the Pullman Montparnasse, service was excellent throughout and the room very comfortable - the only slight criticism would be that at times, the lift capacity was overstretched eg around popular breakfast and […] check out times. We walked to the Eiffel Tower (45 min) and really enjoyed all the cafes and restaurants in the Montparnasse area. It is very close to Gare Montparnasse, which was very handy for us as we took the TGV from there to Bordeaux. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Eight Days in Paris--first visit"
When arrived we were told our room was not ready. However, within 10 minutes we were escorted to our room. Our room was very pleasing and comfortable for the 3 of us. We especially loved the large flat screen TV. It was great to watch the olympics! The concierge was extremely helpful. They spoke perfect English and assisted with all of our needs. We […] were provided daily with suggestions of places to see and things to do (during our 8 day stay). The concierge willingly made calls for us when the language barrier would have been an issue. Hotel had a small exercise room, which was great when we had the time. The exercise room was not accessible 24 hours. I would recommend 24 hour accessibility, as it helped me to sleep. (We were from NYC with a 6 hour time difference.) We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel daily. Staff in the restaurant was very attentive to your request, eventhough it was a buffet. I observed they did not refuse customers even when they arrived after the cut-off time. This hotel is located near supermarkets, 24 hour restaurants, and the metro. We also ventured out and found a nice spa nearby. The neighborhood was safe. No one bothered us (3 females) as when returned at 2am. Although, we did observe a great deal of homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks or steps of buildings. I would recommend this hotel because it was very clean, staff was extremely helpful, and it was located near many attractions. It was a short walk to the metro or RER. "Great hotel for everyone, wonderful view over city"
Perfect located wirhin short walking distance to Metro station Montparnasse. We travelled with 2 children 3,5 & 6 years. We could even got our room, located on 14th floor, before official check-in time and had a perfect view over Paris and its sightseeings. Bathroom very clean and many toiletries articles. Breakfast was very good, once we were there […] with tons of others and food run out quickly, but always the filled them up very quickly and we only had to wait less than 2 min. We appreciated the fresh fruits and fruit salade as well the crispy croissants and mini baguettes. Coffee/tea will be served by the waiters. The only negative point was the enorm waiting time at elevators. Overall we loved it and will definately come back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel in a perfect location!"
Great location right by the Montparnasse metro/train station. We could get anywhere in Paris in 15-20 minutes. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We requested adjoining rooms and they were able to do that. Breakfast was a little on the light side but even the kids were able to find enough to eat to hold them until lunch. "Great Location - in English"
This hotel was a great location for our stay as it was near the Metro Station. So after our long journey, we didn't have to walk far from the Metro to get to our hotel. There is a mall with a small food market about 100 ft from the hotel (exit and walk right). The supermarket gives you the option of buying water/food/snacks for your day excursions at […] a much less cost than from the hotel. Breakfast was included with our rate - which was great, and so was wireless internet connection. There was an option for a faster connection speed (for a fee), but for checking email, etc..the lower speed was perfect. The hotel staff was very helpful when we had questions, and their english was excellent. The room was clean/modern, and the AC worked well. We had our 2 young children with us, and this location overall worked very well for our stay/excursion in Paris. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overpriced and shabby rooms, with very poor servic"
Very disappointing stay. Firstly, check-in took 25 minutes despite having paid the whole trip in advance. Room was run down, with paint peeling on walls, water temperature in shower ranging from ice-cold to scolding hot, uncomfortable bed and non-working mini-bar. The breakfast was of pretty low standard with limited bread choice, and low quality fried […] meats which was very fatty and oily. Location was convenient however and surrounding area ok. "Paris for family of four"
We had a great time in Paris. The hotel staff were very friendly. Some floors had construction going on, so we had some noise. The concierge folks were very helpful. Keep in mind that they mark up ticket prices. Getting into the Louvre is really easy to get into if you use one of the three other entrances rather then the pyramid. There is a major train […] station is nearby. Breakfast is very good, but very pricey. Kids eat free. If you can get breakfast either included or comped, that'll be a good thing. There is a quick shop next door. Several english tv channels, but none for kids. There is a 55 story building with a roof-top viewing area. Great views. Walk past the line directly to the cash ticket booth. BTW, the room for four has two double beds, US size. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is tired and expensive for its lack of upkeep. The walls had scuffmarks on them in both the room and bathroom. In the hallway, the doors were dirty with fingerprints and smudges. You no longer have the option of getting breakfast with the room - instead it's an expensive $36 per person, if you want to do that. Instead, just go into Gaite […] mall and grab something from the boulangerie/patisserie counter - or in the train station itself... or just down the street there are cafes and other breakfast options. Positives: The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is nice for european standards. The staff is friendly. The location near the train station and metro is good. Overall, the Pullman is an ok hotel, but I would choose to spend my money somewhere else next time instead. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Metro"
Very close to the Montparanasse Metro that had four different metro lines connected. These Metro lines took us to all of the major land marks. The neighborhood was very nice and less congested with tourist. My fiancee's straightener had a short and popped the breaker. It took three calls to three different employees of the hotel and several hours to […] get it fixed despite the breaker box was right outside our room. Housekeeping starts cleaning rooms a bit early (8a) and they do not knock so make sure you use the privacy locks and door hangers if you want to get a later start one day. Hotel was very busy with large groups of teams and/or ethnic groups. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect for our two nights in Paris."
We stayed in a room with two double beds with our kids. The room was very quiet (15th floor), large and clean, and the staff was very nice. The elevators were a bit slow, but they came eventually. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant as there are several good places in the area. There is also a small store just a few steps away from the hotel entrance […] where you can get drinks, yogurt and a few "picnic" items (they even have Starbucks frappachios). There is a bakery just a little further away across from the Tour Montparnasse and Galerie Lafayette entrances where you can pick up yummy croissants and pain au chocolats for breakfast. The kids loved eating at the table in the room while watching TV (they don't get to do that at home). The cab ride to the airport on Saturday midday was easy and cost only 65 Euros. The metro and SNCF entrances are really close by. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good location, clean and comfortable."
Good location, metro is just 200 m away. For travelling to/from the airports Air France coach stop is just accross the street. Of course a bit more expensive than metro (17 euros per person, metro is around 10) but much less hassle if you can bear the traffic. From Roissy airport It takes 1-1,5 hours to get to the hotel, metro takes about 1 hour. There […] is a supermarket nearby. The rooms were recently renovated and very nice. Rooms are quiet. After a few weeks in Europe, this was by far our best experience. A classy, business-friendly hotel with excellent service by both the Reception and the Concierge. Only thing is, if you have a Macbook air be sure to bring a usb to ethernet cable––no wifi in the rooms! But super, super high speed internet (a rarity in Europe) in the lobby.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"spacious and recently renovated rooms"
We got two very nicely decorated and spacious rooms (huge by París standards) which had just been renovated. The hotel is very conveniently situated if you plan to get around by Metro.Genuine Expedia guest review
A rather comfortable hotel, specially when you consider the size and the number of the rooms. The room was large considering the size of standard hotel room in Paris. The staff were friendly and helpful, and in fact I observed a brilliant act professionalism from the front desk staff when they were being verbally abused repeatedly by an American guest […] who was angry over a reservation mishap. The receptionist was very cool and collected and politely he was trying to calm the guest down and be helpful, whilst it was apparent that the error was on the part of the guest not the hotel. It is a very busy hotel and I am not sure that it will be my first choice. However, I travel to Paris every week and I would not hesitate to use the Pullman again if my normal hotel which is a small boutique hotel (less than 90 room) is full.
