This hotel is very convenient as it is located across from the Gare Montparnasse which is a big train station/ hub with many metro lines. In addition, the Air France bus to Orly and CDG are across the street as well. Montparnasse is a quick 10-15min subway ride to all major tourist spots.Genuine Expedia guest review

Toilet and floor were dirty. There was Left over open milk with no tea or coffee. Boiler dirty had it replaced three times. The third one was clean but defective had to press button 5 times and wait in between for thermostat to reset taking 15 minutes to get a hot cup of tea. Hair Dryer disgusting.Genuine Expedia guest review
I spent 4 days in it , its proximity to Montparnasse train station is essential good point to it, you can go all around Paris by the Metro and save money for other activities.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel, but room was uncomfortably warm"
All in all, a good hotel and good stay, with a couple significant issues. At check-in, we were *twice* sent to the wrong room. The first, we entered, to find someone else's suitcases and gear. The second, we were greeted at the door by an annoyed Chinese woman who was pretty sure the room was hers. The third time, we finally got the right room. The […] room was very warm (in December), like 26 C warm, and the A/C wouldn't work. Five days later, this was finally resolved. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Trendy hotel in a hip part of town"
Went to Paris for our delayed Honeymoon (or the last-Hurrah before our baby is born). The hotel was everything we expected it to be. It was neat and clean, the bedding was comfortable. The only issues were the shower, which was a foot higher than most we've used. Don't know if it was a weird bath-fitter job or what, but I was having trouble getting […] in and out (and I'm able-bodied and in my early 30s). Was nervous about my 5 month pregnant wife using it. There's no curtain for it either, just a short glass door that allows water to spray out and soak the floor, which adds to the issues of entering and exiting the shower. This really was the only complaint with the hotel, and we managed to use it without any major injury. We were witness several incidents of public urination, and the shopping center (where the Metro entrance was) often smelled of urine. I suspect this is more an issue with Paris in general (as we also saw it happen in Disneyland), and not just the neighborhood. Those were the only two complaints. No issues with pickpockets (though we opted for my wife not to bring her purse), or any real horror stories to report. Overall an excellent trip, and we strongly recommend the tour we took with Cityvision, which included boat transportation on the Seine, lunch at the Eiffel Tower, and tours of the Louvre and Notre Dame. Hotel staff was very accomodating and willing to please.Genuine Expedia guest review
Overall no complaints. We were there for new year's and the hotel front desk was great with tips on where to go, what transportation to take, etc. Metro station a block away from the hotel so getting around the city was very convenient. "Nice Hotel, Great Location"
The hotel is nice. The Pullman is known, and it's a good brand. The room is OK, a bit small, but that's the size of room in Paris. The Location is great. It's oposit to the Montparnasse central train station. It's also next to many amenities and sites. It's also good for business travel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, One block from the metro."
The hotel is a business hotel. Nice staff, helpful and accomidating. The rooms were clean and up dated. The only negative was that they did not allow us to check in before 2pm. They did not seem to want to accomidating us with an earlier check in. It may have been that that there was no availability but they managed to find it when we expressed our […] frustration. Super convenient if you take the Air France "cars" (bus) to / from CdG and Orly airports. Lots of local non touristy shopping, such as local market on Saturday morning, Galeries Lafayette, Monoprix, Montparnasse creperies. A dull standard 4* hotel but no surprises and convenient after a long flight.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Pullman is a good hotel for businessmen, close to one of the main railroad stations, several Metro lines and bus services. There are plenty of excellent high cost and low cost restaurants in the neighborhood. The qulity of service was good and the room bigger than in mopst older Paris hotels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel near Gare Montparnasse."
Nice hotel to stay if you can get a good deal. We stayed for six nights and then scheduled a side trip and tried to booked for another two nights in our return. We were quoted more than twice of our initial stay and we booked somewhere else.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Cleanliness definitely lacking..."
My family and I took a trip to Paris during the first week of October. The room looked acceptable at first glance...liked the pillows, free wi-fi, bottled water. We were excited to see the Nespresso machine. Unfortunately the cleaning staff had not replenished the coffee pods from the last occupant and neglected to do so until the day before we departed. […] We were VERY disgusted to find a few items left by previous tenants. In one corner was a pair of shorts and some sort of pills. On the shelf in the closet was a tube of personal lubricant. This was totally unacceptable and made the entire stay a negative experience. We will not stay at this hotel in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel. Very busy, the reception was always packed with people coming in and out. The room was pleasant, small but confortable. The bed was nice and the pillows were great. Close to shops and restaurants. Metro station around the corner.Genuine Expedia guest review
Room and bathroom very comfortable. Safety strips in tub would have added to safety. Hotel staff was wonderful. Oliver and other concierge were so friendly and helpful. I would like to include the IT technical support staff who were also wonderful. We were surprised there was no fine dinner restaurant although we really enjoyed the small café. We found […] the French people, from taxi driver's to tour guides to folks on the street to be kind and generous. This was our first trip to Paris and it will be a memorable experience. "Outstanding neighborhood hotel, close to metro"
Hotel is 15 minutes from Paris downtown by metro, 5-minute walk to the station, there are several nice restaurants nearby and a lively night life too. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, there is an airport shuttle across the street from the hotel that runs every 30 minutes, very cheap. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review

About 40 mins from the Eiffel, Notre Dame etc. Its a good walk to these places but up hill on the way back. We enjoyed it but it wasn't easy. Cab ride is about 15 Euros as well. "I would stay in another district"
This is right by the metro station. The hotel itself is in nice condition and the staff is friendly. I however would try to stay near one or more of the attractions as this is more of a business district. You can get to the metro easily and get to many different lines but I would have preferred to be by the Eiffel Tower or the Champs Elysees. Also the […] bar in the hotel is very expensive, after the first night we opted to buy wine at the little market next store and bring it down to the lobby and hang out there for a fraction on the cost. "Transient Neigborhood too close for comfort"
The Hotel was beautiful, the rooms and amenities were as expected from a 4-5 Star Hotel, but the Hotel sits across the street from the Montparnasse train station, and the significant pedestrian traffic, and transient population are likely the main cause of the neighborhoods uncleanliness, including litter, noxious odors (mostly urine), and stained and […] broken sidewalks. "Great modern hotel"
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel during our visit to Paris. My previous experience in Paris has been to stay at small boutique style hotels that although closer to the tourist attractions, include no amenities with rooms the size of a match box, most of which do not allow more than 2 to stay in one room. Our room at the Pullman was spacious, included […] 2 queen size beds and a great modern and clean bathroom. I travelled with my aunt and 2 kids and never felt closed in (my kids even had a runway fashion show for us in the evening:)). The staff was very friendly and had no problem with the fact that we did not speak French (which is more than I can say for the taxi drivers!). A supermarket near by was great to shop for breakfast items, as we chose not to participate in the $45 EU per person breakfast buffet. Location: not walking distance to the center of tourist attractions unless you are healthy and used to walking long distances (~45 minutes to the Tour Eiffel, don't believe the stories that say 15 minutes) but there is a main city metro/train station with 2-3 minutes (right around the corner) which will take to all within a few minutes. You may see a few drunks at the stations late at night but we had no problem walking back to our hotel after 10 pm. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
First of all, very difficult to find a reasonable room in Paris that 2 adults and 2 children can share. Pullman Montparnasse has "family rooms". Hotel is older, but renovated to look modern. Rooms have been renovated but not completely as sleek as photos suggest (e.g., old desk and chairs, and some really out of place wall art). Other than that, beds […] are fine, room clean, etc. The area is nothing great to look at, but is relatively close to Metro and St Germaine des Pres by cab. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not too good, not too bad"

"Decent size room for the price!"
The hotel room was very nice. We had three people and were able to get two queen beds which is unusual for Paris. Hotel is not as close to the Metro as I was led to believe by other reviews but we didn't mind walking. Hotel room was clean and very quiet which we enjoyed. We had one great concerige and one not so good one. The one recommended a great […] reasonable restaurant nearby. The other one told us we had to order a cab to go to the the airport but failed to mention that we had to be downstairs early for the cab. We were running late and only found out after we arrived downstairs that the meter on the cab was running. The concierge was no help and also quite rude. We even talked to the manager about this situation. Probably not stay there again because of this situation. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good hotel Average location"
Good and comfortable hotel. Sub par service as compared to Pullman hotels in other parts of the world. Definately sub par as compared to 4 star hotels in nay part of the world. Maybe just a Paris thing. Was travelling with 2 small children aged 5 and 1.5. At the door when we arrived asked for some help with the luggage, was given a funny look and the […] luggage was lugged up to the room as if it were a favour. Checked in at about 2 and called house keeping to have some laundry collected. Was told very curtly that we had missed the cut off for the day and to give the laundry the next day. The front office staff was courteous and helpful with all queries and directions that we needed. The location is just average for seeing the sights around Paris. Taxis always easily available out side the hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Not a good experience"
We rely on Expedia reviews when traveling and felt that this was one that needed to be downgraded. This is really a large conference hotel and not a great Paris vacation hotel. On to occasions we had to call the management to have our room made up. Housekeeping would forget, pillow cases, toilet tissue, wash cloths, the basics. There was no printer […] paper at the airline check in station near the lobby. They tried to charge us $100 Euro for WiFi when the booking was with free WiFi. They said I clicked the wrong box. Thankfully after a big argument at checkout they reversed the charge. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very pricey - deteriorating guest services"
My stay was very disappointing – I have been staying at what used to be Le Meridien (now Pullman) for the past few years and I must say what disappointment this hotel has become – not only the prices have doubled but if you count on any decent guest services – forget it . Also now you will have to pay for the breakfast buffet- it was included at the […] times of Le Meridien. This time when I arrived they gave me a room, although renovated, it smelt of mold – they changed it for another one, also renovated, but I could not get the shower to work properly so I called the guest services many times and requested that someone come and take a look. I waited until 1:00 am but no body showed up – I then had to take a shower using the hot water pot, like in the middle ages- it was surreal considering the room price . The next day I called again, twice, finally they showed up. As if this was not enough, at the time of check out I find out that I was billed for someone else’s laundry. I complained so they removed it although the lady told me that she could not trace the mistake. So here we go, stay at your own risk . I really miss the Meridien times Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
