Budds Beach Apartments - Surfers Paradise

Budds has a location convenient to the beach and shops. Staff was very friendly. The apartment was small and comfortable. The flipside of this is the somewhat run down condition of the place. Dim or burned out lights, three of four elements on the stovetop didn't work and the air-con was a bit erratic. Possibly the most off-putting was their cleaning […] policy; if you don't take out your own rubbish and clean/put away your own dishes, they'll charge a cleaning fee. On top of that, they don't supply dishsoap... So you can imagine the state of the dishes you pull out of the cupboard. Despite that, I had a nice stay overall... but I won't be back. Read more

I was satisfied that the stay was cheap, and overall comfortable. But a little lacking in the finer details like warmth for winter months. Some minor concerns was I found the towel rack broken upon arrival. Also a restriction to some foxtel channels, clearly part of the provided package but no obvious instruction as to how to access those channels. […] A more major concern is perhaps the lack of microwavable dishes that are designed for cooking, while the stove top didn't function. It was a disappointment. A negligence not easily overlooked. No word was given about whether or not my credit card details was disposed of. I will have to contact the hotel directly soon. Read more

First thing we had to do was to wash up all tableware, glas, cutlery etc since it was all dirty. We asked for some compensation but were declined. Very expensive internet. Good location, comfy bed, great with balcony. Over all good.

Kaikki toimi, mutta pientä pintaramonttia tarvittaisiin. Ystävällinen nopea palvelu. Lähellä keskustan ostospaikkoja ja rantaa. Ilmainen netti ei keskipäivällä oikein toiminut, mutta illalla se toimi.

LLegue el sabado al final de la tarde, y en recepcion no habia nadie pues trabajan hasta las 3 pm, pero dejan todo explicado, a quien contactar y como conseguir las llaves por lo que no fue traumatico. El aire acondicionado, la primera noche, no soplaba aire, lo bueno fue que con los ventiladores de techo y la brisa que hubo en la noche lo del aire […] paso inadvertido. Al dia siguiente al llegar a la habitacion despues de pasar el dia afuera, ya estaba solucionado el inconveniente. La habitacion tiene lavadora, secadora, aire acondicionado,microondas. Super bien situé, la plage de Surfers et tous les commerces sont à 3 mn a pieds ! Petit hotel extremement calme, strictement aucun bruits ! Tout le confort kitchenette, buanderie, frigo est dans la chambre, bonne literie. Personnel aimable et tres disponible.
