Very good quality for the price; breakfast is quite good as others have commented on. Only negative was that the heating unit in the room was quite loud and caused some interruption of sleep. Close proximity to Lenoir-Rhyne, which was primary reason for staying here. Would recommend.

The carpets are long due for a replacement as they lost most of the color already and causing a bad odor in the room. Also the room had spider webs in a corner, so I'm not sure if they are thoroughly cleaned.

We used to stay at this hotel whenever we were in Hickory. In recent trips we have gone to other hotel because we took our pets. The hotel has gone down hill in the last couple of years. The exercise room was closed due to vandelism, according the staff, and there was no air conditioning in the common areas (a cost saving measure I believe). Hotel is easy to find right off of Hwy 321; very close to Hickory Crawdads ballpark - in fact you could walk. Room had a strong musky odor - had to request spray air freshener which helped.
