"A new classic"
The new Gramercy Park Hotel is sure to become a instant classic. They've taken a down at the heels Manhatten landmark and turned it into to a hip, luxourius place to stay. I would go back again tomorrow!Genuine Expedia guest review
We heard the music from the club all night and there was a huge cockroach in our closet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel but found the Bathroom to Small!"
The night was good but moved to another hotel the next day because was not satisfied with the bathrooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not a lot for the money"
Decent enough hotel but not worth the pricy rooms. The restaurant and bars in the lobby were excellent though. Exercise room was very weak.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My daughter and I stayed for two nights before moving her into her college housing. We had an absolutely perfect stay! You really couldn't ask for more than the Gramercy Park Hotel has to offer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When we arrived it was so dark in the lobby I couldn't even see where I was supposed to sign on the invoice. My husband and I were moving our 18 year old son into NYU the next morning so we reserved a 2 double bed room, but were given a room with only 1 king sized bed. When we told the staff that there were 3 of us and that we had reserved a 2 double […] room we were told that we should not complain because we were actually given an upgraded room. There was a very short couch in the room...so I ended up sleeping on that and pretty much didn't get any sleep at all. My husband and son are both over 6 ft...so they shared the bed. We spent over WAY more than we would usually spend for this room and really only reserved it for sleeping. Needless to say, we will never stay there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Love the Gramercy. Had brunch at the Terrace and dinner at the Italian restaurant on the 1st floor. Both were delicious.Genuine Expedia guest review
"I always stay at GPH as the location is fantastic,"
I always stay at the GPH as I love the Bohemian feeling and very chic interiors. The Terrace is gorgeous to enjoy breakfast and The Rosebar is a fun hip atmosphereGenuine Expedia guest review

"Very nice hotel right next to Gramercy Park."
Older hotel, great location near Gramercy Park and walking distance to Union Square. Spacious double room, very comfortable. Lots of windows which let in light. We were next to elevator but did not hear it at all. Two closets, which is unusual. Hotel staff couldn't have been friendlier.Genuine Expedia guest review
Not again. Pretentious front desk staff (some, not all. The gentleman that checked me in was top notch. The female that I went to later was quite rude.) Shower was broken but they sent a service man right away - who didn't fix it but left after saying he had...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed three days. The room was small, dark and cramped. The rooftop was absolutely lovely but over 3 days we had access to it for about 3 hours. For a so-called 4-star hotel, it was impossible to have breakfast, lunch or even to grab a drink before or after dinner. Hotel guests could be "put on the list" for access to the Rose Bar, which was roped […] off like a nightclub, but on entry you learned your access was for "standing" only. In other words, no access to sit at a table. Those tables, by the way, remained empty for much of the night. Overall the crowd was very un-New York. Much trashier. And the mood simply pretentious. The art is standout, that's a plus. But I would absolutely never stay here again. For a much more successful application of concept and design, I recommend the Public in Chicago. Rooms are small, bathroom was very small. Hotel hallways are very dark and room lighting is inadequate. Staff is gracious and efficient. Access to Grammercy Park a plus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The hotel was just wonderful. The renovation is lovely. The location, across from Gramercy Park is perfect. This is such a nice neighborhood, with Union Square close, as well as many fine restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Value 5 Star Hotel: Chic and Charming"
It was a great stay, at a charming and lively hotel. Mailino one of the best restaurants in Manhattan. Staff was gracious. Must single out Wayne the doorman/Bellman -- he gets 10 stars. I actually asked to speak to the General Manager, Jacob, who I think was surprised to be summoned actually to receive thanks rather than the many complaints GM's are […] heir to in any hotel. I stayed at the Gramercy Park Hotel for about 2 weeks on my last trip to manhattan and I absolutely loved it. The restaurant has great good down stairs and I had the time of my life at The Rose Bar each time I went! Especially great service from Jonas!!! Will definitely be back on my next tripGenuine Hotels.com guest review
very pretty room, facing the park. was a small room, but had everything that we needed and it was very warm.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very good hotel"
Very good hotel. Only thing we did not like was food served in terrace restaurant for breakfast. Thought breakfast was rather poor compared to food at four seasons or mandarian oriental hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
The door men are incredible. The bartenders are friendly. Some of the host/front desk staff can come across as a bit stuck up. The crowd in the restaurants and the bar are stuck up scenesters so just be aware. Having access to the park is the main perk here.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel tucked in a quiet little neighborhood"
Adjacent to Grammercy Park at the end of Lexington Ave, the hotel is in a quiet area yet at the same time within walking distance to so much. The rooms and suites are outstanding, and the hotel bars, while expensive, are wonderful to experience. A gem in the heart of NYC.Genuine Expedia guest review
WE COULD NOT SLEEP UNTIL 3 OR 5 AM DUE TO VERY LOUD MUSIC AT THE HOTEL'S BAR OR CLUBGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel had an art gallery in it and a very helpful information book. We ate at the terrace cafe for breakfast and had cocktails at the bar the evening before. All employees were exceptionally accommodating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great atmosphere. I have stayed there often and gotten past the bit of attitude and scene and just thoroughly enjoy the placeGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Chic and Uniquie Urban Retreat"
This place was special in decor, service, and overall unique vibe. From start to finish, we were treated extremely well. Our concierge was well informed and very comfortable fullfilling our requests for an IPOD to dinner and club reservations. Our bellman held a very small lost item of mine for two days until he was back on duty and presented it to […] me as we were leaving!. Guests have their own private park to tour right in the heart of the city. Rooms are very quiet and the elevators speed you up to your room and open effortlessly and without a "ding" as to not disturb others. Very Hip and expensive (but in NYC, what's not expensive?) but worth it all the way. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel, but..."
The hotel is wonderful and the location is great, particularly with access to the beautiful Gramercy Park. We had a ladies' weekend, and had a lot of fun. The hotel would be great for couples as well. The hotel bar was fun, but the Terrace Restaurant was only alright. We went to the Terrace for brunch at 10:30 with a reservation through the concierge, […] but since the concierge cannot make reservations at the restaurant, there was a little confusion when we arrived. We were sat within 10 minutes, but overall the service was slow, but everyone was very nice. The food was not fantastic, good, but not what I would expect from a high-end hotel. As for the rooms, the size was nice for three people and all the amenities in the room were wonderful (i.e. bath wash, soap, and such). The comfort of the bed was only ok. I am surprised they do not have sleep comfort or less lumpy beds. The iPod dock was a nice addition and helpful as one of our group forgot their iPhone charger. The cleanliness was really wonderful and the housekeepers were really nice. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel review - Gramery Park Hotel"
The hotel was nice and clean, however, very dark - lighting in the rooms, hallways and even elevators was very dim. Also, there were no bureaus in the room so nowhere to store clothes or personal items other than hanging clothes in the closet. Limited outlets for use of iron also.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Funky and Solid"
Love the feel and decor. Staff very friendly and accommodating. First rate. Don't forget to enjoy the park. Quintessential NYC. (I'm an "ex"-NY'r)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beware of chimney fires!"
Was on the seventh floor and they had a fire on the top floor around 2AM. Checked they internet and it happened last year also. Check it yourself on the net. They spent the next day and night cleaning the top floor and kept us up the entire night moving furniture around and mopping up the water. No one at the desk cared. Also they charge $17 a day for […] wireless service. But they do not tell you there is a charge. There are better choices in NY. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"dont stay at the Gramercy Park Hotel"
The only good thing about the hotel was the location and the decor of the room. Besides that it was over priced, they suggested a horrible restaurant, and the bar downstairs played music so loud until four am on week nights that we were up all night bc of the rattling walls and we could even sing along with the music it was so loud. When we complained […] they sent is up ear plugs. I was extremely disappointed that I payed so much to be treated so disrespectfully. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Gramercy Park Hotel"
Low key glamor. Beautiful neighborhood, lovely service, good food, cool bar scene. It was perfect for my needs. I chose a higher level room category and they upgraded me to a suite and I could not have been happier. I will stay there gain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"luxury with drawbacks"
Gramercy Park Hotel seems somewhat past it's prime. Incredibly dry air, impossible to control temperature in room and, at least on the 3rd floor, you might as well be in the disco down stairs. There was no business center, and wifi was 16 bucks a day, so it was frustrating to attempt to use my computer with a wireless card as phone reception was very […] poor. Visually attractive, very small room. I would not choose to stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel in a great location"
This was a nice hip hotel without all the attitude. Love the location near quite gramercy park but close to everything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lots to like....."
We stayed here over the Christmas weekend and generally found the hotel to be comfortable and pleasant. An interesting plus is the artwork on display, primarily in the lobby. Two drawbacks: our room while comfortable lacked reasonable storage space for clothing. Second, the service generally seemed a bit off, particularly in the restaurant in the hotel. […] Our waiter at breakfast didn't notice that both of us left virtually all of our oatmeal. When he brought the check, I commented that it had been inedible, which basically prompted him to argue the point.....clueless. That said, I'd probably go back. It's a great location and some of the small decorating features of the hotel are really great. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"More form than function, but a fun stay"
Definitely a hotel with attitude, although the bellmen were very friendly and helpful. The pour perfume through the hallways, so the smells are overwhelming, and the dim lighting annoying. Room was delighful, if a bit cramped. Wi fi was spotty, and the only frustrating room event was not enough outlets to plug in phones, etc. Definitely not for the […] serious business traveler.
