"Very nice hotel. Very clean"
We enjoyed our service at the hotel. Both lounges were very nice and relaxing. Everyone was very nice. It was a bit of a walk to get to Westlake or the Market but it was nice to walk around and see the city at the same time.Genuine Expedia guest review
A beautiful well kept hotel right smack in the middle of downtown Seattle. Nice place - comfortable - even scenic. A bit on the pricey end, and for what you pay - they don't even give you free Wi-Fi? That was disappointing. Otherwise a great centrally located comfort spot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was excellent comfortable stay, very convenientGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice downtown hotel, nice surprise"
This hotel was a nice surprise in that it is in downtown Seattle and We were able to get a great rate, the front desk staff was very helpful, and friendly. The 2nd floor restaurant was adequate for breakfast. Generally a good experience and I would recommend it to my friends.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Vacation in Seattle"
Good location away from the Pier Crowd, close to highway, Starbucks in lobbyGenuine Expedia guest review
Room was pretty clean and staff was courteous. However, Internet was not free, parking fee was outrageous, and rooms were small. I was disappointed with hotels.com because their description or the room was way off. We were suppose to get a suite but instead we got a single room w two double beds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just One Night"
This was a last minute trip to Seattle for a meeting the following morning. I arrived at 10:30pm to find that the self park garage entrance is just 6'-2". My compact SUV would not fit in so I ended up valet parking to the tune of a Grant including gratuity. The check-in line was short but the gal at the registration desk was obviously tired and short […] on patience. The room was nice but not particularly clean as hair was stuck to the walls in a couple of places in the bathroom and the bathroom counter had been wiped but not cleaned. Over the past two years I have travelled to Seattle an average of six times a year. With parking, my total bill was for more than I have ever paid for a night's stay in Seattle. I was dissapointed and willl continue looking for better options. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to downtown"
Close to downtown and within walking distance to most downtown attractions.Genuine Expedia guest review
Rooms were nice. The bed could have been a little firmer (my husband could feel the bed shift whenever I turned over); since he is 6/2" and I am only 5'2", this doesn't usually happen. Overall, the room and the rest of the hotel was very nice. The staff was outstanding. The lobby staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartender and wait-staff at […] the bar on the 28th floor were very friendly and accomodating. We reserved part of the bar for an evening with 6 more of our friends for happy hour; it was very comfortable with the couches and over-stuffed chairs, and the view was beautiful. The location is close to Westlake Center and the monorail that takes you to the center that has the Space Needle, Chihuly exhibit, etc. Good restaurants are within walking distance, too. Hotel was upscale, clean, and close to everything. Our room was clean, large, and very comfortable. The one thing that was not good was the 30 min wait in line to check in, long line and only two people checking guest in on a Saturday, not good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed there before and after cruise...very pricey but quiet and comfy...would look for a hotel with free Wi-Fi if staying longer...silly to charge for that any more...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Not really family friendly..............Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"parking and other charges"
Despite the high price of our hotel room, we had to pay huge to park our car in the hotel parking structure overnight. When we were getting ready to leave the next morning, a bill was slipped under the door. It included the gigantic parking fee, taxes on parking and the hotel charged us for items in the room that we didn't use (ex: bottled water). It's […] a nice place but too expensive. "Good pick for us."
Close to freeways if you're planning on driving around. Very much in the center of all the little surrounding suburbs. It's accessible but out of the main fray of the tourist hub. If you wanna be in the thick of it all (Pike Place Market/bars/restaurants etc.) maybe consider a hotel in Belltown or Downtown more. But we enjoyed and the hotel was very […] clean. It is at the top of a pretty steep hill so if you are on foot and plan on walking a good bit, keep that in mind. Not for the faint of heart ;-) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great staff made for a great stay!"
The staff was very helpful. While the front desk has limited knowledge of sights and attractions, they do a good job of getting you with the concierge desk that has great knowledge of the area and attractions. Also, forgot some toiletries and they quickly brought the items to our room at no charge. Quiet and slept great... would recommend to all tr […] avelers! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, close to everything"

"Birthday weekend @ Renaissance Seattle"
Very pleasant weekend stay @ Seattle Renaissance. Room was spacious, king bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom was rather small, could have been a little bigger.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A Hotel I Would Return To"
They got us into the room before we expected - before check-in time. The staff was very helpful by helping us with directions, and getting a taxis for us. The hotel restaurant had great food and great friendly service. The room service was quick with friendly servers.Genuine Expedia guest review
Supposed to have two queen beds. Instead 2 full beds. Door was wide open upon arriving to the room. Gives for an uncomfortable feeling.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Sub Par hotel"
Simple put, for $250 + after Parking and Internet for a dark and dirty atmosphere, I will stay somewhere else next time!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fun weekend in Seattle"
Difficult check-in - they had a large group of airline personnel transitioning in and out. Instead of opening an express lane for them - they kept a large portion of guests waiting. The room was terrific, but there was no refreshments in the mini-bar. Valet and cleaning staff were wonderful!Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent staff. Building exterior is beginning to show need for updates in places such as walkway entrances.Genuine Expedia guest review
Staff was super friendly and the hotel was great! Definitely a nice hotel in a prime locationGenuine Expedia guest review
"Stop over from Hawaii to Portland."
Always love staying at the Renaissance Seattle. I know the rooms will be well appointed, clean and comfortable. We are never disappointed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Really great hotel. Stayed at another hotel in another city prior to this one and I thought the service here was much better. Super helpful concierge told me about some great breakfast places and the doormen/valet were super helpful in getting me transportation. They even took my bags for me! (which did not happen at the other hotel). Clean environment […] and in walking distance to everything. Let me check in early as well. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel satisfied our needs! We were in a great location, walking distance to all the main attractions! Staff was wonderful and the bed was super comfy! Couldn't have asked for a better stay!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to safeco"
Our room was right next to the freeway, so it was pretty noisy. We were also charged $32.00 to park our car in the garage, which was upsetting since we paid over $150.00 to stay there for one night. Also was charged $13.95 plus tax for wi-fi. Won't stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great place, centrally located in downtown Seattle.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Chick Korea Concert in Seattle"

"Another 5 star stay"
I am a repeat user of this hotel - it's located very close (5 minute walk) to downtown places to visit and eat, the rooms are quiet, very clean, extremely comfy beds (clean and comfy is what I really care about here, everything else is icing on the cake). They even hold your fish purchases from Pikes fish market in their fridge at no extra charge! I […] even got upgraded to a bigger room at no charge this stay, it was really nice! Definitely will stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel. Astonomical Parking Rare"
Had a good two night stay at the Renaissance. Room was very nice and the location was good for exploring Seattle. However the daily parking rate was out of control. I would consider staying again except for the parking. $60.00 for two days is way too much.Genuine Expedia guest review
"At Home in Seattle"
Comfortable, friendly atmosphere, clean and quiet....good rate and close to everything downtown and the freeway. I didn't like not having WIFI in the room or paying $13 per day and $32 for parking is steep so we chose not to have a car. Walked or took a cab which worked fine for us. Nice that they had breakfast Star Bucks and Oatmeal! Would go there […] again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We enjoyed our stay in spite of the weather - great to have an extra quilt in the room already for those cool nights. Was very convenient to the places we wanted to visit. Will definitely consider staying againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"great location for exploring downtown Seattle."
Enjoyed our stay. We asked for a room on the opposite side of the freeway. Was quite. Also very easy to find. Would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was nice but the bed was a little uncomfortable. Noisy next to the freeway but it was clean and comfortable other than that.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great experience with a negative twist"
The whole stay was excellent! We had a nice time in our big room and got to experience the hotel over the weekend. They did fail to mention the "$38" overnight parking (per night) if you choose to park at the hotel. I didn't see anything online or with our reservation ticket at all. I walked up to the counter and they said "welcome! How would you like […] to pay for parking?!" When the fee was taken from my account they took "$50" instead. Watch out for that! "Modern, comfortable room near downtown Seattle."
My fiance and I spent two nights at The Renaissance. The hotel is within walking distance from everything downtown, although if it was raining it might be more comfortable to take a cab. The room itself was clean and comfortable, a very large bed with plenty of pillows and an extra down comforter in the closet. Things were well kept and modern, there […] was an ihome next to the bed which was convenient and the room was nice and quiet. My only complaint is that the TV seemed to only work when it wanted to, we had to call someone up to fix it but then after turning it off it refused to work again.... then came on unexpectedly a half hour later. Besides the TV we had an absolutely fabulous stay, very friendly staff also! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Too many fees for a repeat"
Beautiful hotel. Rooms are great. Wifi isn't free, parking is an insane $32/day and dogs are an extra $100/night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

A wonderful experience....great location....great views....and a warm and very friendly staff!Genuine Expedia guest review
"A relaxing week-end ."
I was only there for two nights, but I enjoyed the stay. I traveled to Seattle by train and the hotel is less than a mile (.6) from the King Street train station, which made it easy and inexpensive to get there by cab, so the location is great.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Don't stay here if you have a car."
The hotel was wonderful!! Enjoying a drink at the bar on the 28th floor was a real treat. However - paying $48 for our car to be parked for 8 hours - not including tips to the valets - will probably keep us from staying there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great, very helpful and a great location! Jon the doorman, and Lucy the concierge vere the best!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel, others have better downtown location"
The hotel was very nice and well appointed, it is at the top of a hill so walking down to the waterfront was easy. Walking back was great exercise but had me huffing for breath. Rooms on the east side of the hotel face the Interstate 5 freeway which adds to ambient noise in the room 24 hrs/day. Did not keep me from sleeping though. Ventilation system […] in room was somewhat noisy. Service was excellent. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Will be back"
I typically stay in Federal Way or Sea-tac as I had a bad experience at one of the 5 star hotels in Downtown Seattle. I have to say that I will be back to the Renaissance due to the friendliness of the staff. They were extremely helpful and it wasn't forced. This hotel is fancy without the uppity! :-)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"beautiful, but noisy!"
The location of the hotel and the rooms and public areas were lovely, but the hotel is perched above the I-5 another street and an overpass. Only got a little quieter for a few hours in the middle of the night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to freeway"
had a problem with my reservation but the staff solved the problem...overall a good experience...Genuine Expedia guest review
