Small hotel, great breakfast buffet, staff very helpful and friendly, about 5 minutes walk from Trevi's fountain, and subway, but somewhat run down neighborhood. First room was small, but we had to switch and second room was much roomier. Stay at the main building rather than the annex.

This is a great hotel, and I will be back! The rooms were small, but very well organized and equipped. The daily fresh fruit was an unexpected treat. The bathrooms were large and well organized. My room was on the Plaza Barberini, but the windows were 95% sound proof. I had a queazy stomach and was restricted to eating dry toast for breakfast. The […] staff noticed this and asked if they could do anything. I could also eat applesauce, but they had none. Within five minutes I was served a large bowl of apple puree, which they created with a blender borrowed from the bar! They did this every morning, without my asking, and saved my life! The beds were very comfortable and the linens were the old-fashioned, exsquisite Italian type. The front desk went out of their way to be helpful and supportive; very grateful. Absolutely wonderful hotel close to everything. The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are just a few minutes walk away. We walked to the Colossuem, which was an easy 20-minute walk, which will go by quickly as you take in the sights and sounds of Rome. This hotel has an excellent location with public transportation and if you are a walking person you can walk around and even get to most of the places> The Vatican, Fontanna de Trevi, Spanish Steps, etc. It is a good choice but not for infants or toddlers.

Great hotel, staff, location. Our room (#44) was nice. it had a nice patio with tile floors and table for two that would be very nice to use during summer for some wine and cheese. Very clean, elegant and cozy hotel. Marble on the floors and partially on the wall. Very nice venetian plaster work for the remainder of the wall. High ceilings. Our room was a mini-suite which had a very large bathroom. It felt like it was recently remodeled. Bathroom was nearly as big as the bedroom and included a jacuzzi. I would recommend the suite. […] Bed was very comfortable. Other rooms looked much smaller. Probably a bit cramped for a family. Great for couples though. The hotel is barely noticeable from the outside and pretty small on the inside but it is the definition of boutique hotel. The staff was ultra helpful and kind. They left us a thank you card before leaving. Honestly, this would be my first choice if i visited again. Breakfast was very good offering pretty much everything. There was a plate fruit and water waiting for us in our room when we entered. Breakfast was included in the price of the room along with free wifi which is a must when in Italy. Food is not super cheap so the free breakfast adds a lot of value. We had a view of Bernini Piazza/Fountain which was nice but not over the top amazing or anything. Windows had two layers of openings so when shut you heard absolutely nothing from the street. Location was convenient to all the attractions. We walked to Spanish steps and it took us about 7-10 minutes. Walk to the colloseum is possible but it will take you about 25-30 minutes. Read more

This hotel is located on one of the quieter piazzas and yet within walking distance of most of the sights. Our room overlooked the piazza and yet we were not bothered by the noise at night. It is also conveniently located on the metro and bus lines. I shared the room with 2 teenagers and there was plenty of room. The breakfast is wonderful - a buffet […] of cheeses, meats, rolls, pastries and fruit - plus made to order egg dishes. It was however the staff who made the real difference. Sometimes elegance comes with a pompous attitude - not the case at this hotel. They were always delighted to help with questions, directions, and reservations to the museums and galleries. If your looking for a lobby this is not the hotel for you. Everyone was very nice and accommodating but the hotel has small hallways and the regular rooms are tiny. Everything else was good including the breakfast.

First, the staff has been very pleasant and helpful. They made the trip a little easier. Next, the hotel is tiny, but in a spectacular location! Then, the room is tiny as well, with no table to put things on (I resorted to use the counter in the bathroom) and a small wardrobe + safe. Personally, I had a room on the first floor which was a dozen feet […] from the dining area... meaning, high traffic area, and more noise. I was awake every morning at 6am when the staff began their day setting up, and up late the one night I decided to hit the sack early because of the other guests in the bar/dining area (usually I get back after the dining area is closed, so I slept better). My recommendation to the hotel would be a rug in the high traffic area so that the guests staying on the first floor can rest easier. If you get a room on another floor, I'm sure it'll be great. The bathroom is modern, clean, and has lots of natural light. Overall, I'd stay again but on another floor. Read more
