Our room was a bit small, but had everything we needed. It was a queen room. Location was good, staff very good with customer service. Hotel did seem a bit snooty, and would not recommend for a longer stay, mainly due to price. I was a little disappointed with our view (a brick wall) at first, but when I asked to move, they said they were full. Then I realized we would really not be in the room during the day, so it wasn't a big deal. Just hoping for the price, we might get a nice view of St. Stevens Green. Overall, after visitng several B&B, (which are not cheap either, by the way) this was a nice welcome, to sleep in a comfortable bed.

We were pleased from the moment we arrived til the moment we left. Our room was given to us @ 9am by a warm and friendly receptionist (despite the 2pm official check-in time.) Hotel was perfectly located, old and authentic but not tired in any way. The service was top flight everywhere, the room was elegant and tasteful. Breakfast was superb. We were wondering about on the mezzanine to try to find the room where the constitution was signed when a charming and polite hotel worker asked if he could be of any assistance. He proceeded to escort us to the correct room and then gave us an historical overview. Fabulous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a distinctive, authentic, completely pleasant experience.

We got a great deal on The Shelbourne Hotel. I'm originally from dublin but don't live there anymore so if was definitely a treat to stay there after growing up being familiar with the hotel and it's surroundings. I would recommend this hotel for it's style and comfort, great bars, tea room and food and only a few minutes walk from Grafton street!

I was surprised at the roominess of the room I stayed in and also another room another family member stayed in. I had a standard 2 bed room, but it was lovely and the bathroom was very spacious. Overall stay at hotel was excellent. I would say that unless you want to experience a true Irish Breakfast, including mushrooms, steamed tomatoes and thick porridge, I skip the expensive hotel breakfast and find a local place. Also, the early bird meals at restruants start at 5pm and run through 7pm. These are very good values.

Very nice hotel, staff were brilliant. The only thing I would say is make sure you have some money saved aside if you want to eat or drink here. Typical half pint bottle of beer in room fridge is six pounds fifty. Twenty five pounds for a hamburger. Don't waste your money on breakfast it's not all that and there are plenty of nice places to eat out in town.

This is a very nice hotel, not sure if its actually worth the money they charge for the room. the room is clean and nice, but no nicer than something half the money. The hotel is fabulous itself and holds alot of history. I attended a wedding in the hotel and I will say they did a beautiful job and the food was delicious! The staff is very attentive, you do have to wait a awlful long time to pull up the car though. We waited almostt an hour for the car to be brought up. The food is very dear in the hotel. Overall we had a very nice stay, a bit overpriced though.
