"Great location; can't get closer to the airport"
Good airport hotel. Clean rooms and lobby, friendly staff, good service. Limited but good bar and dining room menus. Just minutes from the main terminal by their transport; runs every 30 minutes; one Euro pp fare.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean hotel right at the airport"
Very convenient for our stay before our flight. It was clean and the staff were friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Adequate airport hotel"
There was no ice on the hall, or face clothes. (We got these in our other Ireland Hotels.) Could not eat the in restaurant unless ordering an expensive multi course meal. Hallways were drab and dark. Rooms were comfortable but blah. Could not get any breakfast unless you chose 15euro large breakfast. Next time we will choose another hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For a 2 minute shuttle to the adjacent airport (1,000 ft~300m) they charged 1€ a person. If I knew ahead of time, I would have walked.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Shuttle service to airport for early flight."
For some reason we were put in a room that is meant for handicap people. We needed to use the shuttle service to the airport early in the morning. Our relatives who were in another room were not charged a fee to be brought to the airport. We were charged 1.00 each. Why were charged this fee? I assumed all the other paid the same fee.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to car rental and airport"
Very convient . Good restaurant. Friendly staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Pricy, especially in the bar and restaurant. Food was so-so and service just average. A charge for airport shuttle when hotel only 1/3 mile away. Room was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location for airport travelers"
I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Clarion hotel. I was only in Dublin for a day before flying elsewhere, so I wanted a hotel that was near the airport. The room was clean and very nice, and I easily caught a bus into Dublin's city center from the stop outside the hotel. I would definitely recommend this as a hotel to anyone looking to stay near the […] airport. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not customer service oriented!!!"
First - no elevators. If you have heavy luggage, you need assistance from porter. Second - porter does double duty as driver of shuttle bus to Dublin airport. So good luck if you expect quick service. Third - asked for a wake up call - it never came. Fourth - rooms quite small and quite old, but clean. Fifth - food at bar, quite good, but VERY poor […] attentiveness of waiters. Overall, I'd gladly pay more and stay in the Radisson next time we fly out of Dublin. "Good for early morning flights"
Very good: Location & 24 hr. shuttle to airport. Not so good: only expensive dinners offered at restaurant, requested wake-up call not received, no hair dryer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Proximity to airport"
BRIEF overnight stay! Shuttle service from and to the airport was A+ and this was the case because of your timely provision of transportation BUT MOST OF ALL the courteous driver who was informative, pleasant, and represented the Clarion quite nicely. Would not hesitate to recommend this Clarion based on driver, hotel presentation, courtesy of desk […] registration staff, or room cleanliness and comfort. "Near the airport"
Our stay at the hotel was very nice, reception helpful and the meal was good. Great location to the airport. However, our complaint was with transportation to the airport. The driver never asked us which terminal or airline we were flying. We did not know the terminal and when we told him Delta, he said he did not hear us and we would either have to […] go back to the hotel and return to the airport or walk back. "Great service and location"
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Clarion for one night at the end of our trip in Ireland as we had a flight to catch early the next morning. The staff were extremely personable and lovely to work with. We wanted to have a relaxing day and they recommended Malahide which was 15 minutes away by taxi. An airport hotel with no elevator is a problem. Dragging suitcases up and down stairs..ughhhh....C'mon. This is a bummer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Comfortable. Clean. Quiet. Friendly, helpful staff... but not enough outlets and duvet is too warm (would prefer option of regular blankets)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location for early morning flight"
Everything was fine but we did not expect to be charge for parking or charged for the shuttle bus to the airport - hotel is being renovated but they did their best to accommodate us with a clean quiet roomGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Was disappointed with the service in the bar. Took half an hour to get attention of a server, despite the place wasn't busy. Rooms were fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We were looking for a place to just get some rest before our flight. There was no elevator, which was a little difficult, but otherwise it met our needs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"hotels near airports"
All was well, except, no phone in my room. had to ask. Also, instructions for dialing desk were incomplete. neglected to inform dial "2" first. Also noticed huge round stain on lobby couch. Thought that was gross. Need to treat that! Otherwise all okay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient Location, Walls paper thin, clean room"
Convenient Location to airport, Walls paper thin, i could hear walking upstairs most of the night and actually hear the phone ring in the room above me. Clean room. Unexpected charge for shuttle to the airport. It should be free to hotel guest.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the staff was pleasant and the food was great! The one negative was they charged fro everything. One euro for the airport van, it cost me over 10 euro to print out my families boarding passes. I just don't expect this from a high end hotel. Other than that it's a great hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Short, sweet and convenient"
I stayed here as I had an early flight departure and it was just perfect. Just moments from the airport (actually on the grounds) it was quiet and yet right on the airport grounds. The ONLY criticism I have is that they don't have an elevator so you have to use a luggage lift and it's a little funny in such a swank hote.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"WOW! Great Service, Clean, Quite Nice!"
If the folks at Clarion represent the people of Dublin and Ireland, then I will surely return for my next vacation. Very clean, convenient hotel. Friendly staff, excellent airport shuttle service. Traveling alone this trip, with minimal luggage. Stayed one night to catch an early AM departure. Would not have worked with family and usual luggage after lengthy Ireland tour.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great airport location"
I couldn't have been more satisfied with the hotel. It is right next to the airport and had a 24/7 shuttle for 1 Euro. The wifi is free. The lobby is nicely set up to have a drink or a bite to eat. this is not a four star hotel. They gave us bad information about where they were to pick us up and it took us an hour to get to the hotel from the airport. The restaruant was horrible. and expensive. poor television. the handy man had to turn our electrictiy onGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good airport hotel"
Perfect for what it was. . . A place to stay when you have a late or early flight out of Dublin.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
No complaints about location, friendly and helpful personnel, cleanliness. But the facility was inadequate. Small room; extremely tiny bathroom; no lift between reception and lower floor where our room was. Free wi-fi was advertised, but accessible only in lobby and bar. We ranked this one lowest of the six hotels on our UK-Ireland trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is NOT a 4 star hotel. Rugs were unacceptable. Only one sheet on bed. The curtin was falling out the window. Service in bar area was poor with untrained people who didn't even know where to find vodka without help.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"looking run down."
i stay at this hotel when i leave Ireland to come back stateside, 2-3 times a year. The rooms are beginning to look very worn, especially the bathroom. the floor and bath tiles look black, they need to be re-grouted etc. The beds are no longer very comfortable. since there is no elevator i called the front desk and the porter for help with our luggage […] before check out and nobody picked up. overall the hotel is fine, but if they don't put some time and effort into the rooms, it may be better to look somewhere else. Check-in was poor. A large group of young people in front of us with only two people to service check-in. A third employee was at the next desk for check-out (3:00 PM) was asked if he could handle overflow and he said "NO." We had reserved a non-smoking room and we confirmed upon check-in, however, we were assigned a room that smelled of cigarette smoke. […] We had to go back to check-in. We were assigned an upper floor room, but no elevators. Neighborhood was shoddy and full of construction. The proximity to the airport was excellent but we had to pay for the hotel shuttle which was included in the bill without notification. We could have walked to the terminal (so why charge?). "Across from the airport great location for transp"
We were very disappointed with the Clarion. We arrived in Dublin about 3:30 in the afternoon. I asked for a non-smoking room and was given smoking. Moved to another room and now it is 5:00 and walked into a room that was unmade. Back to the desk and waited for about 30 minutes before getting another room. Because of the condition of the hotel in general […] (needs maintenance) and the smell we ate all our meals either at the airport or across the street at the Raddison. Tremendous lack ot service. We will not stay there again. The Clairon is actually our hotel of choice when travelling. Not this one. If you are looking for the hairdryer it will be in the desk drawer on a short cord. This hotel was not all what I was hoping. They put us in a smoking room when a non-smoking was requested. The room was dirty with sticky stains on the carpeting. "Conveinient to Airport"
When we checked in and went to our rooms they were not made up or cleanded from the previous visitors. Back to lobby and got new rooms after about 20 mins. We stayed at this hotel for 1 night before flying back to the USA. The hotel was clean and neat. "Convenient for airport access"
Overall, our stay was fine. The airport is close to Dublin Airport, although they should run the shuttle bus more frequently than every 30 minutes! Also, this is first hotel I've ever stayed in (in the world) that doesn't have a proper lift/elevator. They have a funky "luggage lift" that looks like something from the 1920s - isn't this a relatively […] new hotel? We also had dinner at the restaurant - a little pricey but good. "Second stay - much better."
Check your actual room before acceptance when arriving at hotel. This is our second stay. For the first, the room and even hallway outside was in terrible disrepair. We complained and got a better room for this visit. Lobby/bar/restaurant is nice. Hotel close to airport but not easily walkable. While we give a weak recommendation for this hotel - the […] one next door might be better. Amazingly, there is no elevator to the second floor where most of the rooms seem to be located. "OK because of location and bar."
We stayed here twice. This was the first stay (the second one went better). Not really walkable from airport, but they have an OK shuttle. Our first visit, we were tired and accepted the first room offered. This was one of the most run down rooms we have ever stayed in. The rug was actually worn down to the underlying matting! The room also had an old […] fashioned TV that barely brought in stations. No elevator available from lobby to second floor! Others also complained about these same things, and tthey said they would never stay here again. For us, we prepaid for a second stay later in the week - and 2nd stay was better. My husband and I stayed here for a night before we left Dublin to return to the states. We were very pleased with the condition of our room! It was roomy and extremely comfortable! "A standard airport hotel"
I agree with the comments immediately below. It is in fact very close to the airport; could have walked it. there is a shuttle outside the terminal which was free going to the hotel but a euro going back the next morning. The room was so-so; no elevator. The highlight was a nice restaurant and bar, in the large lobby itself, with a sit down area to […] watch the news. I arrived at 9:30 on a Wednesday night and about fifteen people were mingling around. It was nice but pricey. I wish I had bought a soft drink and snack in the airport itself.
