With this you get free breakfast and snacks at the end of the day in the lounge. The room was of good size, clean and with complete amenities. we enjoyed the large room the staff very nice except when we checked in I took a King suite and the clerk told me I only get one breakfast which is odd but a second clerk cleared this up. "New Year's party"
Friends threw a party here on new year's and my boyfriend and I decided to book or own room. Our reservation included breakfast and parking. We ended up in the penthouses. It was very comfortable....I suggest to park your car in the hotel garage, since the neighborhood parking is private and reserved to the stores. I had my car towed and payed $223.00 to have it back. My boyfriend and I stayed two nights at this hotel to celebrate the new year. The hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly. The only real issue we had with our stay was the crowd. There appeared to be a lot of issues with fighting, noise, and groups coming from nearby clubs. This room was beyond my expectations! We stayed in the King Suite, the room was huge and had a balcony. The bed and pillows were so comfy, it was better than home. My check in experience was somewhat okay. I looked online to find out the pet fee and it showed $50. The front desk tells me its $75. They put me right next to the elevators where all the traffic took place. I had so many phone calls from Double tree about my dog barking. We couldn't help it because there was kids running around people coming in and […] out. They did NOT accommodate with me at all I was there to spend my Christmas vacation, but I had to spend it at the hotel because I had to control my dog as we listened to all the elevators go up and down, kids playing, and doors slamming. "Hotel missing a few things"
There was no refrigerator or microwave which caused my family to have to eat a lot of fast food. The Internet is $10 a day including the expensive hotel stay. "Avoid rooms by elevators"
Room 1416 is right next to the elevators on the 14th floor. Could hear elevator cables creaking and groaning constantly. A good pair of earplugs let me eventually drop off to sleep.
