This hotel is a great location, but old and rooms and bathrooms need update. I can't give it a good review. Food service VERY slow, we ordered soup, salad, and hummas and it took FOREVER, we were tired and just wanted to go to bed after a long a day of work. A/C didn't keep the room cool, uncomfortable bed, ordered a $30 steak cooked medium and got well done. Trying to leave the next morning and it took over 10mins for the elevator to arrive with enough room to fit two people... Never happened. "Close to Galleria"
The room was great. We had an executive suite. The suite had a full size refrigerator stove and dishwasher. It had more than we had expected. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. I had a good night's sleep. The two drawbacks for the hotel was the elevator and parking. The elevator wasn't slow I just think that for the amount of guest it took […] forever. The hotel has 26 floors and only one set of four elevators. We came back at night and the parking garage was full so it really sucked trying to find a place to park ,but the valet should a place to park out back. We were very pleased with our stay. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was par excellence! There were so many choices, everyone had options so no complaints. the breakfast was terrible...I didn't get enjoy my eggs and pancake breakfast. I expected to be at least warm especially if you had to pay over twice as much per person than if we would have gone to Ihop, but they served it cold. "Akin to a camping trip"
There was a significant problem with the lack of HOT WATER. After allowing the shower to operate for several minutes (this is NOT INACCURATE) the water was STILL only lukewarm. I called the front desk, explained the problem, and was told the "engineer" would be by shortly.
