I'd never been to Prague, and this hotel's location was a great to experience the city. Very nice hotel also, with very helpful staff. Be sure to ask about the complementary pet goldfish (interesting story there). Free breakfast & Wi-FI were key. Even the cab drivers knew this place, which helped me alot. Be aware that the in-room DVD players don't work with American discs.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was nicely furnished in the latest fashion and the beds were very comfortable. The location worked well for sightseeing and shopping at the nearby mall. The assortment of food at the breakfast buffet would suit any dietary preferences and the quality was outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Grand Hotel Bohemia.

not at all 5star hotel as mentioned, however for the price, being almost in prague center and fairly close to the airport, it is a great bargain hotel.... The room was not the room as shown on the photos, that being a room with brand new and modern furniture and looked like a 4star hotel room, we were placed in a room with older furniture, which was more like 3star, but it was clean and comfortable room. Room and hotel were nice. Staff very accommadating. However was written that location was near center of town. This was not the case. In fact hotel was opposite of main district. Needed to travel by tram for all events... not glvery convinent.

The Crowne Plaza Prague was excellent overall with very clean, updated, well appointed rooms. The air conditioning worked well or the windows could be opened for fresh air. The bathroom was comparable to any hotel in Switzerland or Germany. The room had a small refrigerator, good working desk and to extra upholstered chairs for sitting comfortably. […] The bed was just the right firmness with quality pillows for sleeping or sitting up in bed. The linens were a superior grade. The closet was large in size and the room had a nice automatic pant presser and ironing board with iron for your shirts etc. i wanted to improve one item --- the small 15" Grundig color TV. But there was an excellent choice of programing in all languages. All in all, the hotel was excellent for the money. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional in all service rendered. The hotel overall is good. Only thing need to be concerned is it's location. You need to pay at least 400czk per way to old town to hotel for your transportation by taxi. It is better to stay at a hotel nearby old town. You may be able to stay %30 more expensive hotel with same budget.

This hotel has a great gym. Though, the personnel do not seem very friendly. And I don't think it is because of the fluency of the command of the English language. One man at the front desk was very accommodating.

The stay at Crowne Plaza Prague gave value to money. A comfortable hotel, offering historic surroundings from the communist time. They say even Stalin stayed at this hotel once! Standard was ok, nice bar and restaurant with an ok menue. Breakfast buffet was really nice, offering real bacon (not pre-cooked bacon as most hotels offer), and also scrambled […] eggs from REAL eggs (not powder eggs as most hotels offer). Also fried potatoes, baked beans etc. for the breakfast. Thumbs up for this! :) Room was comfortable. Not too big, not too small, offering minibar and also a selection og tea and coffee. Bathroom was ok, with various soaps etc. Only drawback was the location. Quite long distance to the centre of Prague. But all in all I can recommend this hotel :) Read more

Jut a wonderful place to relax and chill.The superb view from the terrace of the city often takes you and bowls you by its charm.The Staff is very good,cordial and even though we did not speak Czech or German,they made us comfortable. Vše probíhalo naprosto hladce, od objednání, platbu, ubytování, kde personál byl vstřícný a vyšel maximální měrou vstříc, přes neopakovatelné, majestátní prostory, které v tomto architektonickém stylu už snad žádný jiný hotel v ČR nenabídne a konečně je třeba dodat, že čistota a vybavení pokojů a ostatních zařízení vůbec dosahuje vyššího standardu, […] než mnohé jiné hotely v Evropě na stejně deklarované úrovni.
