Geneva’s centre is full of cobblestoned streets, flower-decked fountains, and shuttered grey-stone houses. Museums, boutiques, bistros, and archaeological sights cluster around Place du Bourg-de-Four and the nearby Cathedral St Pierre. The neighbouring church is the Temple de l’Auditoire. The 14th-century Maison Tavel, Geneva’s oldest house, contains a local history museum.

First the good stuff: Staff is great, and fast, breakfast was good, and the rooms are clean. Now the issues: First of all rooms on the back of the hotel are facing the railyard, either you sleep through it, or wear earplugs. 'King' bed is actually 2 twins put together. TV was very small if you care about that. Gym sucks with a set of broken 'click-to-pick' dumbells and one multi-gym machine (there was a stationary bike and a small yoga like area if that's what you want - and a big flat screen on the wall ;). Overall, it was a decent place to stay, but would not recommend for romantic getaway, this is a good spot for traveling business persons who just need a good night's rest.

Hotel is in a GREAT location, Geneva is a small city, only takes 15 minutes to walk to Old town from this hotel. Friendly staff, very clean room and I am very picky about cleanliness. Asked for a room facing the main road and the hotel was able to accomodate. Sometimes at night you can hear drunk people stumbling down the street from the bars, but that's only because we slept with our window open. I would definitely recommend.

We were delighted with this modern and clean hotel, just a short 3 block walk to the central train station and to the lake. We skipped the breakfast, since it was expensive. Despite having the trams in front and trains in back, our room was pretty quiet. The bathroom was modern and spotless and the free internet worked great.

We loved the hotel stay in Geneva. It was a couple blocks from the train station and the hotel was beautiful. Out of the hotels we stayed in Zurich and Lausanne, this was the best and it was at the same price point as the others. Very modern, sleek, clean. Only downside was that breakfast was not included, which is rare for a hotel in Europe.

A very smart 4 star hotel, but be prepared if you are a light sleeper as Geneva's main train station is right behind the hotel and the trains run all night. The noise didnt bother us though. The hotel is a little bit away from the tourist area, but not too far that you couldnt easily walk it. Its position near to the train station is also a plus, if you are using the free public transport that Geneva offers. There is also a tram stop right outside the hotel. We didnt buy the breakfast so I cant comment on the quality of food, as it was quite expensive but that reflects the price of all food in Geneva...very expensive. Overall, i found the staff very courteous and helpful, and the hotel room very clean and comfortable, great bathroom as well

A clean and modern hotel with helpful staff. Room good size and well decorated and furnished. Free travel pass issued by reception very useful. Hotel is 200m walk from station (which is 8 min train ride from airport) thus airport transfers very cheap! Only criticisms were that our "queen" bed was 2 twins pushed together and that sound from hallway came under the door- easily rectifed by dropping a towel in front of the door gap. All in all very good and would go back there.

What a beautiful hotel! The facilities are modern and clean, with interesting art and decor to enjoy throughout the hotel. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hotel is an ideal location for a stay in Geneva - it is extremely close to the central train station (about two city blocks), which makes the trip to the airport an easy 6 minute ride. It is also located just a short walk (about 800 meters) to beautiful Lake Geneva! The hotel staff were outstanding - polite, kind, and extremely helpful. We received free transit passes for the duration of our stay, and the reception hosts were kind enough to help us figure out the proper train schedules for our travel plans. The hotel offers a full breakfast each morning, with eggs, sausages, bacon, and lovely fruits, yogurts, pastries and cereals. The breakfast was delicious and very convenient - well worth the additional few Francs / Euros you are charged for it. The hotel is an exceptional value for the price we paid, we will absolutely stay there again anytime we visit Geneva!

The rooms were very clean and well maintained and also pretty new. However, the hotel is probably 100 feet from a nexus of train tracks that feed to the main train station. Since the windows aren't insulated strongly enough, you will have to contend with the noise of trains squeaking as they approach the train station. The front desk (there is no concierge) was a bit inconsistent. One team was excellent in helping us out with good suggestions on what to do and how to get around, and also had strong English skills. The other team's English skills weren't that great and seemed bothered by the fact that we don't speak French. The hotel is clean, with modern appliances, though the internet does not work very well (it is a wireless system that constantly kicks you off of it). I've certainly stayed in worse hotels but I would probably try somewhere else, unless you sleep very soundly and won't be bothered by all the noise from the trains at night.

Very clean and professional. Good attitude and service at the reception desk. Nice modern room and bathroom with good amenities. The buffet breakfast was excellent but a little pricey (28 Swiss Francs) and if there was an option for a less expensive continental version, it was not evident. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the lake, although you go through some rather seedy blocks filled with Asian restaurants. It was very hard to find a Swiss restaurant, but we finally did and it was well worth it. The hotel tries to send you to expensivew restaurants partner hotels, but there are other options if you are willing to explore.
