The carpet in the room was worn out in one spot, but aside from that it was a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely nice & helpful. They offerd to bring us breakfast at 530am even tho the kitchen didn't open until 730 because we had an early flight & would be missing the breakfast buffet. They were also very helpful with directions to every place we wanted to go to & it's next to the one of the metro lines so getting there from the airport was extremely simple. it's a hotel that still has that classic feel to it & the food was delicious. Definitely looking forward to staying here again whenever I return to Madrid.

The hotel has a great location, and it was a great hotel but it is aging. The rooms are out of date, the rugs are in terrible condition (although some have been replaced with wood flooring). The staff is pretty helpful with some exceptions.

They announce the hotel as a 5 star and is not even a 3 star. If you expect to be at a good hotel, don´t come to this one. Facilities are old and dirty. Rooms are not renovated, carpets are at least 25 years old and ripped. Beds are very old and uncomfortable and bathrooms are in bad shape with hair dryers of the seventies, that burn your hands when used. The worst experience ever.

The room needed updates. For the price I expected more and I was surprised to learn that it cost an extra 20 euros per day to use the pool (pictured as part of the hotel) because it's inside the hotel "spa".

This hotel was pretty much what the reviews said, i.e. it has faded and needs a facelift, but the rooms are clean and the staff are helpful and it is good value for the price. Not so centrally located but good transport links close by.

The location was great - right off of the metro. The lobby was nice as were the people at the front desk. However, the room was terrible - the bed was incredibly uncomfortable; the pillow very lumpy. And the carpet in both the room and hallway was badly in need of being replaced. I would not stay here again.

Very comfortable room! Had a great night's sleep and felt very welcomed. The carpet was in need of replacement and the shower went from hot to cold very quickly constantly but the aircon kept us cool and the room felt spacious and the large windows gave the room a lot of light. The breakfast was very good with an array of cold and hot food and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall an incredibly well-run hotel and comfortable stay. Will be returning again in the hopefully near future.

We spent 4 nights in Madrid while attending a family birthday celebration. We choose this hotel as the whole package (flights and hotel) were very reasonably priced, and the proximity of the hotel was close to other family members.

Stayed here on trip to watch Liverpool play Real Madrid , hotel was perfect for bernabue stadium 15 minute walk . Hotel bar really expensive 20 euros for a lager , vodka lemonade ,we used the local bars around corner so much cheaper and tapas thrown in .hotel next door to underground easy to get around , would stay here again but would not use bar at these prices which is a shame

Very handy for metro, the concierge was brilliant as was Villar the breakfast waiter, which made our stay memorable. Rooms were clean the hotel is looking a bit tired but overall was satisfactory for a short break.

First arrived to a cold room, heating system had died. Staff moved me to new room which was much better. Internet was described as high speed which was abut of a joke. Otherwise hotel was ok but not a 5 star.

We booked 2 rooms for a leisure break especially for the hotel's Spa as it has been rated as one of the top 5 in Madrid. Check in was good, Staff friendly but we were never told at check in on the closure of the Gym and Spa as it was their summer holiday ! We had to find out the next day when we wanted to use the facilities that it was closed. We were not offered any alternative use of such facilities nearby either until 3 days into our stay when we had to ask if there were such facilities nearby. The rooms were decent but need renovating even though we had asked for their "newly renovated" rooms at check in. The bar and cafe staff poor understanding of English so ordering was difficult unless spanish was spoken. One afternoon, we sat outside but had to look for the waiter and go the bar counter to order drinks and snacks. The breakfast was fair but very expensive for what it was. The meal at M29 restaurant was also expensive and not value for money. Overall very expensive for meals, food and parking combine this with the service, very poor value. Check out was very poor, just presented with bill to check and asked for my credit card. No smile, no questions asked about our stay, not asked if we need transport or assistance with our luggage. Have travelled extensively over the last 30 years and this is by far the worst experience received from a 5 star hotel. I would rate this an overall 3 Star at best. Will not stay here again nor recommend the hotel.

I stayed in Executive room which give you access to an additional lounge area which also doubles as a separate breakfast area. Soft drinks are freely available from here and the mini bar. The breakfast is more limiting than the main restaurant downstairs but is nice and quiet. The staff were all very helpful and no issues experience during my 5 night stay. The hotel is situated about 20 mins (using metro) outside town centre and is generally a quiet area, though never far from a bar or restaurant. I went to watch Real Madrid during my stay and walked back to hotel in about 20mins (2 metro stops away). I never got a chance to use leisure facilities so no comment there. The room was spacious, comfortable bed, desk, lounge chair and free wireless.

部屋の設備やアメニティはこれといった特徴はない。空港からのアクセスもそれほど悪くなく市内へも比較的アクセスしやすい。何より地下鉄出口から数秒で着ける立地なので夜遅くまで街中で飲んで帰ったり早朝の国内線利用等に使用するには便利なホテルと思う。

Hotellet var simpelthen VERDENSKLASSE ! Alt fungerede, og det hele osede bare af klasse. Absolut et af de bedste hoteller, som undertegnede har prøvet worldwide. Så skal man bo i centrum af Madrid, og eventuelt se fodbold på Bernabeu, så er dette hotel absolut anbefalingsværdigt. Egner sig nok mest til enkeltpersoner eller par.

Las habitaciones las sentí un poco estrechas para tratarse de un hotel cinco estrellas. La línea telefónica al ser de discado y no de tono, no te permite comunicarte con un conmutador en donde te pidan digitar claves o extensiones de acceso, lo cual es un problema para llamar a cualquier contact center en donde siempre el conbmutador exige digitar opciones que en una línea de discado no se puede hacer.
