The hotel was nice. The staffs were very polite and helpful. Everyone speaks very good English. The location is excellent. Very easy to go from CDG to the hotel. The hotel is located across the street from an indoor shopping mall. There is a supermarket in the basement. I would stay again.

The hotel stay itself was wonderful. The hotel was clean, breakfast was delicious and convenient location. But when I arrived, I waited at least 20 minutes to get to check-in. There were only one other lady in front of me but the reception desk was taking forever. One guy was training the intern and eventually started checking in people on his own. […] Unfortunately I got the intern who asked for my passport and credit card 3 times each (total of 6). She couldn't find my reservation because she got my middle name and first name mixed up. Upon finding out my reservation, she made it look like it was my fault that she couldn't read the passport. She started talking to the guy in French and rolling her eyes. I was gonna say something, but I realized there were more than 10 people waiting in line to check in and they all looked very impatient. I know French people are not known to be nice, but some better customer service for the amount that I paid would have been nice. Read more

I usually love going to Paris -- but because of the experience of staying at this hotel, couldn't wait for my trip to be over! The staff was at first friendly, but really difficult. For example, I asked where a specific street was, the concierge simply responded "Oh it's by Saint Sulpice. Just walk around and you might find it." Not very helpful. Overall, the hotel is fine, but too expensive for what you get. Staff are friendly and helpful, but rooms are very small. Good location; 1 minute walk from the Metro station (Line 1 and RER). It's also 15 minutes walk from Arc de Triomphe.

Had one of their refurbished rooms. Clean, elegant, comfortable and for Paris relatively spacious. Location was convenient for the various meetings I had around Paris and surroundings. No onsite gym is a big negative, but you can get a coupon to workout at the Club Med gym across the street, allthough that was a factory. Breakfast is way, way overpriced […] at twenty nine euros. This is a big and very busy hotel, the staff was very helpful and everyone spoke great english. The hotel is two minutes from a subway stop so it was very convenient. It was clean and comfortable and we would stay here again. The food was very expensive but that's true of Paris in general.

Surprised by bedbugs bites. On thelast day of my stay I realized that I had been bitten by bedbugs. I went to speak to the manager and she told me that this sort of thing happens. Nothing for free! Had to shell out 11 euros for a kiddie movie. No way to watch the news or anything. Also the windows were so tightly shut there's no flow of fresh air :( The hotel is conveniently located and clean however the lack of a radio or free tv channels was a downer.

Hotel is great and quite spacious (for Paris). Trail from the CDG airport is as easy as B to 1 to Le Dafence get off at Porte Molliet. Great neighborhood and wonderful cafe's nearby, especially towards the Arc. Grocery store right across the street in the -1 level of the Congress. Worth it's weight! Have fun.

Good location. Clean and comfortable. They upgraded us to a king size bed from a double without asking upon our arrival. Internet wifi charges are a bit confusing. They told us it was 7Euro for 1 hour, but then charged us 19Euro for 24-hours. No free wifi in the lobby as well. That was the only disappointment. Good for short- or long-term stay. No hot […] water/coffee machine in the room. Service machine on the same floor had free hot water in very small cups. Separate toilet and shower rooms made it convenient for us. Read more

I think this hotel was very nice in a good area close to the metro. The staff was super friendly, especially the concierges working there. They bent over backwards to provide information and guideance in finding local places to eat, how to get to places etc. This is the 2nd time I have stayed there and the level of service is amazing. The Le Meridien Etoile is a modern, bustling hotel with a wonderful front desk and concierge staff. Our room was a nice size with a very comfy bed and pillows. RER/metro station nearby, pay shuttle bus to/from the airport departs from the mall directly accross the street, resturants and nightlife in every direction. Wonderful trip!

The hotel is in a comfortable location, near a Metro and a RER station and within walking distance from the Arch de Triumph, Bois de Boulogne and La Defense. The lobby is nice and spacious. The staff courteous. The rooms aren't big but are comfortably furnished. Now to the down side: the check in time is 15:00, but at 15:45 our room wasn't ready yet […] and we received an alternative room, witch was a smoking room instead of the non smoking room we've booked. In now days, I expect to get free Wi-fi in my hotels, just like in the hotel across the street, but not in Le Meridien. This hotel is a great value for the money. We had a deluxe room for 7 nights over New Years' eve. Although the room was by no means large, it was spacious as compared to most European/Parisian hotel rooms. The bed was comfortable and both the room and bathroom were very clean. There was a separate room for the toilet which was nice. We were on the Starwood […] preferred floor (floor 8) although neither of us is actually a Starwood preferred member. The stop for the airport shuttle is directly across the street which is hugely convenient. Additionally, both the Metro and the RER stations are less than a block from the hotel and it is one of the main metro lines. The only complaint I have is with the conceirge staff. Most of them were helpful but a few were not and they all seem unfamiliar with some of the newer restaurants in town. We only ate at the hotel restaurant once for breakfast on the day we arrived. The food was good but not really worth the high price. Overall, it was a great value for the money and we would definitely stay there again. Read more
