It was the best we have had in a long time. Clean and in excellent repair . Like the coverlette instead of those horrible bedspreads that have got to be very dirty.. Suprised the parking lot was not plowed better, guess its just a local thing,

We have stayed there before and loved it. It seemed to go down hill a little. Repairs to the room we stayed in weren't covered up. You could see every repair done. I will still stay there.

The main reason we stayed at this hotel was it had a pool. We were only an hour or two from home, but thought we would let te kids swim in the morning... before we left, only to find out that they added some chemicals to the pool right before it was to open. We were told the pool was not usable for the next 2 or 3 hours. I think it would be more efficient to add these chemicals at night when the pool is closed??? Oh well, off to the next hotel. It took almost 45 minutes to check in. The clerk attempted to charge me a second time for my room and advised me the confirmation number I was sent by email was not a confirmation emil. I presented the email to the front desk clerk who then checked someone else in and then came back to me. Nice place, easy access and friendly, helpful staff. Very "bare bones." No micro wave, and though there was a coffee pot...no stir sticks or sugar/creamer etc. Close to Walmart, so we bought the things we needed, but at the cost of the room think they should have been provided.

When we arrived in our room there was unflushed human waste in the toilet. Gave us a feeling that the room wasn't very clean. The room was ok but not up to the standard that I thought it would be considering the Marriott name is associated with it.

The only reason for the "4" rating on quality of hotel service was that the room-attendant removed dirty towels, but forgot to replace them. That night I asked the front desk for towels; no problem. Staff was friendly; place was clean and comfortable. Area is safe.

The rooms were great, except I booked 4 people to stay in each room, and there were only 2 towels and 1 bottle of shampoo. The sandwiches for breakfast were not that good, and there were no chocolate chips in the waffles as advertised on the daily board. But the hotel itself was very nice. Great beds!
