Loved it!
We left our luggage with the concierge until checkin while we explored. All the staff were very friendly and very efficient. They offered high tea with great views. Our hairdryer wasn't in the room, but once called they brought it quickly. I would highly recommend this hotel. Location, atmosphere, room/bath size & staff were just great!

Well Pleased with The Rubens
Our stay at The Rubens was very enjoyable. While the room was slightly on the small size (with our king size bed), we were expecting that in this neighborhood (across from the palace grounds). Room was very clean and the water pressure (in the shower) was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and the concierge service unbeatable. They referred us to numerous great restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

First trip to London
I took my granddaughter to London for her first time. We had a good time but not long enough. We saw the major tourist attractions and had a boat ride on the Thames which was a good way to see things on the first day.

Wonderful, charming little hotel at the Palace!
I stayed for three nights at the Rubens in March 2016. It was the dream trip. I stayed in a Classic Double room. I may have preferred to book a larger room, but overall, since it was just me, the room was plenty big for one person. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great, even if the room were on the old side. But the hotel itself was so lovely. Charming, PERFECT location!! I loved being so close to the Palace. Equidistant was Victoria station, a good transit hub with some shops, coffee, plenty of bus routes, etc. I usually prefer to stay in much larger, non-boutique hotels, but I was just blown away by this one. It was so comfortable and quaint. I just loved it. My London friends came over to visit and loved it as well. Just so cute and authentically British. Best hotel I've stayed in in London!
