"Good hotel if you don't mind a train next door...."
Everything was wonderful--except the train that went by several times all night. It felt like the train was going right through the middle of our room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel for the entire family."
Other than a minor problem with the toilet in the room, what could happen in any other hotel, our experience using this hotel was nice, and we will come back to it in the future.Genuine Expedia guest review
Need sound proof windows - woken up several times by trains overnight then the foodservice truck, which arrived at 5am. Tub needs slip-proof details added.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice and relaxing."
The layout of the room was the only negative. No table or light on one side of the bed and the location of the coffee pot was not logical or convient.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice comfortable stay"
We met my husband's half sisters that he had never met over the weekend at this hotel. The court yard outside had a nice sitting area and the inside lobby also had excellent visiting areas. We were able to enjoy the areas while we visited. The room was comfortable and clean. We would look forward to staying at this hotel again. The only negative is […] that they do not serve a complementary breakfast and they only have coffee available in the morning. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We stayed for after the Chicago concert @ the Portland Zoo. Very close and we had a great time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
it was ok, i just don't understand for the price you pay for a hotel room you still have to pay if you want breakfast in the morning. i think for the price of the rooms you should get a free breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for families"
Nice hotel with polite staff. My son had some good time at the pool and hot tub.Genuine Expedia guest review
We were placed by the back door and there was door slaming and laughing and yelling until about 2 a.m. It started again about 5:30 a.m. This is NOT a room that should even be rented out ! It was a horrible situation . At the very least that back door should be permanently locked by ten or eleven .When we complained we were told "sorry, but I can't do […] anything about it " We regret staying at the Marriott. "Very Loud noise level."
The noise in the room above us was very loud. Sounded like a giant stomping on the floor well past 10 PM. Also, the refridgerator was very loud and we had to shut it off for the night so we could sleep. We told the desk clerk but she only shrugged her shoulders.Genuine Expedia guest review
Overall it was a nice place to stay , we decided to use the fold out bed for our 4year old , it looked like it hadnt been properly cleaned before we got in the room. that is the only issue i had during our time thereGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great Hotel. The train was just a bit annoying at 10:30pm at night, but really was not a big deal. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Opt out of the breakfast pkg."
The best thing about this hotel is the "Einstein Bros Bagels" place across the rear parking lot. Do yourself a favor and opt-out of Courtyard's breakfast included package and walk over to Einstein's. Marriott decided to change what I considered an average continental breakfast and replaced with this complicated contraption that needs a printed set of […] instructions (see attached pic) handed to you at check-in so you know what you can eat in the morning. I wouldn't have minded too much if the breakfast was half way decent, but it wasn't. It was made up of stale bagels and dry muffins, if you opt for eggs you would get a semi decent set of scrambled eggs (you can't have both the bagel and the eggs). When I complained to the hotel staff, I was told this is the new Courtyard Experience. They decided to upgrade the lobby and the breakfast area that you spend less than 5% of your time in and left the rooms in a state of disrepair. Very disappointed. "Breakfast confusing, otherwise great stay."
The hotel is in a very nice, secluded area. The room was also nice with a balcony and the bed was comfortable. There was some confusion over whether they charged for breakfast, as on the keycard holder it said it was $5.95, and the expedia website said it was $10 or close to it. No one was asking for money so when I checked out I asked if it cost money […] (after eating 2 breakfasts there) and they said "This weekend was no charge". I thought that could have been made clearer from the beginning. Staff was friendly and helpful. I forgot my deodorant and they gave me a travel size replacement which was appreciated. "clean, central, safe"
decent hotel for the price - no issues but didn't need anything but a clean and safe place to stay - lots of places to eat close by some in walking distance other just few miles down the road.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is very quiet, clean, heated, safe and well-located to Southwest Portland, Oregon. Considering the travel time from downtown Portland to this hotel, it is a better arrangement to stay in this hotel than in downtown. The convenience of location, travel ease, ease in parking, free parking, well-lighted parking lots, secure doors all make this […] a better choice. Downtown Portland is more difficult and expensive in all categories. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Demanding Guest More Than Happy"
We found this hotel to be at the top of its class in all categories. When booking this room, we requested specific items, which were all given to us. The staff were all professional and friendly. The three nights sleep were some of the best we have had in 38 years of hotel visits. The room was spotless. There was NO noise. Parking and access were ideal. […] The bed was very comfortable. The TV and cable service were excellent. The air in the room and hotel was clean, fresh; the ventillation-heating system was very nice and quiet. We are booked for another three nights next month also in this hotel. The price is the best in the city. This is our ONLY hotel for our frequent visits to our family in another state. "Wonderful staff, clean and comfortable"
I was in town for a conference at a local hospital. This hotel was close and convenient. The staff were very nice and helpful and my room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast options were not bad and on par with a hotel in this price range.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Good coffee close by, great bagel shop next door"
Room was nice, bed was one of the best I've slept in in a hotel in a long time. The non-smoking room did smell little like smoke, that was disappointing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fridge not cold enough"
My only complaint is that the room came with a small fridge that i don't think was cold enough to store milk. I requested a fridge because I needed to store milk and other perishable food for my baby, but the fridge that came in the room seemed lacking. I ended up having to throw out the milk and yogurt that I bought. Other than that, the hotel, room, […] and service was good. We found the breakfast to be convenient and especially liked the make-it-yourself-waffle bar. My toddler was happy with the variety of breakfast items that he could eat. "Pleasant staff but get away from the train"
After checking in I found that my room was located next to the elevator and a busy entrance. Returned to the front desk to check on availability of a different room and they moved me no questions asked. Of course that's what they're supposed to do but such requests at other hotels are often met with a bad attitude. A polite, prompt resolution was refreshing. […] Commuter train runs along one side of the building. It has become more frequent than during past visits so getting on the right side of the building is key. "Courtyard-Marriott in Beaverton"
Our room was located at the end of the hotel - we heard every person entering the building - VERY loud until very late in the night. The car traffic also was very loud. Not a restful night's sleep at all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Did Not Get What I Reserved"
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the service and room. I say, "unfortunately" because I expected to provide my son a relaxing, good nights sleep before a huge lacrosse tournament that he played the next day. Rather than drive down Saturday morning from WA, I decided to drive down to Oregon the night before the tournament and let him sleep well […] before heading to the games in the morning. I talked 4 other families into joing us at this same hotel. I booked a room with 2 Queen beds and specifically asked several times to make sure I would be receiving a room with the 2 Queen Beds. I was assurred over and over that this was the reservation and this was what I would receive. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was told, "Oh, I see you reserved a room with 2 Queen Beds, but we don't have any left, so you will be getting a room with one King Bed." I explained that I specifically made sure I was reserved a room with 2 Queens. The receptionist told me very rude and curtely, "I know. I see that, but we don't have any left. Your room has one King bed. Don't worry there is a pull-out couch." After being told that was just the way it works, we went to our room. It was room 133 in the corner by the pool and RIGHT NEXT TO AN EXIT DOOR. Besides the horribliy uncomfortable couch and the smell of clhlorine the BANGING of the exit door ALL NIGHT LONG was untolerable. Neither myslef or my son slept all night and we both wish we had not come down to OR, but intsead just gotten up at 4:00am and driven down in the morning. We both agree we would have been more rested. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Recommend but Buyer Beware"
It's a very clean hotel, typical of a Courtyard. Nothing out of the ordinary. But be aware that there are 2 types of trains that goes by the back of the hotel. You won't need an alarm at 6am to wake you up. I was there on business, so 6am didn't bother me, but if you want to sleep in, you won't be able to cause commuter trains and the regular trains […] with their loud horns will be sure you don't fall back to sleep. "Beaverton Marriott Courtyard stay"
Easy check in and out. Pleasant hotel staff. Close to everything that I needed for my stay. Plenty of parking. Comfortable bed. Plenty of outlets to plug in sleep machine, etc. Would stay again and recommend to others. Next time I would request a room further from the ice machine, as being right across the hall, the first night was very noisy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to restaurants"
The staff were really helpful and caring; the room clean, the bed nice and comfortable (it was like sleeping on a cloud); there was a nice sitting area with free WiFi, coffee maker etc. For breakfast there was a good variety of both cold and hot food and servers behind the counter to help you. "Guest Services Need Training"
I booked this hotel based on reviews and frankly is a not properly reviewed or management does not care about the reviews. We drove from Vancouver, and getaway for my family and we requested a high floor and we get in and we are close to train railroads and this was never on the site for information for guest to know about it. I was not impressed at […] all and after talking to a front desk agent that didn't care at all to understand our frustrations we were moved to another room.
