"Must Stay Here!"

The Imperial Hotel was one of my greatest travel experiences! I arrived early (10:00 AM), and was able to check-in immediately. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff speak english. This was important as my mandarin is quite limited. They took care of me on many levels, and even helped to arrange a visit to a local elementary school (I'm an elementary teacher in Los Angeles!) The bar staff was friendly, and made every effort to help me with my mandarin. Laundry service was fast and affordable. I will definitely stay at Imperial Hotel on my next trip to Taipei!

Arrived in the middle of typhoon, soaking wet, looking like drowned rat. Welcomed graciously and room made available early. Terrific vallue and exceptional service from all employees from manager to doorman.
