Great hotel overall however, my son slept on the sofa bed in the living area and he heard a lot of noise at night. He was able to hear people up and down outside and didn't sleep very soundly. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay close to the airport.

This property is a great choice for staying in San Antonio because it is centrally located and the staff is ALWAYS nice and friendly. The manager's reception and free hot breakfast is always a welcome treat and a money saver. My stay was as I expected. I saved $$ by going to Embassy Suites as the Riverwalk hotels were $30 for parking (TY Hotels.com for the reviews I was able to read prior to making a decision) and parking here was free. Also breakfast is free and I couldn't find it free anywhere else. When I arrived, my room smelled really good, like they had sprayed it […] with cologne. It was a nice welcome. All the staff were very nice. I liked that I could adjust the temperature in the room, also. The elevator wait times were not long. The staff is wonderful. The room was so shabby, couch dirty, carpet had ground in gum, "whiteish" stains by one of the beds on the carpet, just shabby, needs redecorating or steam cleaning badly. I got there early afternoon and was too exhausted to go through the hassle of changing rooms. I presumed that all the rooms were the same, shabby, so why bother? […] It had such an "ick" factor that I was uncomfortable all night and was glad to leave in the morning. The owners of the Embassy should be ashamed of themselves, but glad that the staff is so wonderful and accomodating. My suggestion: Buy a steam cleaning carpet and upholstery system and use it. By the way, the toiletries are lovely, small but lovely. I always travel with a big bar of my own Dove soap anyway. Read more

We have a family of 6 and Embassy Suites is one of the few hotels that will rent 1 room to our tribe. We have stayed in many ES and this one was average. It is an old hotel that they have made an effort to update. Pros: The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. Cons: Beds were uncomfortable, hotel may be updated but not the furniture. The tv […] in the bedroom had terrible picture quality and often no signal. The room furniture was mismatched and room 525 seemed to be where they put extra stuff. Breakfast was slow because they kept the bacon sausage and potatoes behind the omelet bar so everyone had to wait in line. The gift shop sold dental floss for $7. Not that I expect great gift shop prices but the lady at the desk would not floss for me which I expected at that price. Read more

I picked this hotel as it was close to the airport. Some of the rooms over look a major highway, but there was no noise in the room. There is a great work area, eventhough they charge you for wifi. Room was a nice size and had to TVs in each room. Very nice staff and breakfest. Be aware there are TWO Embassy Suites close to the airport.

Even though the hotel's surrounding highway network was a bit difficult to navigate I have no complaints about the Embassy Suites hotel by the San Antonio Airport. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was courteous. The omelets made to order for the comp breakfast was the highlight of my stay!

We really enjoyed our stay there. The beds were comfortable and the free breakfast was awesome--eggs cooked to order, oatmeal, cereal, etc., anything you could want for breakfast. However, the rugs in our room needed to be shampooed. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly stay there again.

The pool made all my kids eyes burn, not sure how, since it was saltwater. We stayed at ES on the Riverwalk the night before, and it was definitely worth the extra money. The location was very commercial/industrial, nothing close. The room/maid service was not good. The breakfast and manager's complementary hours were okay. The pool was small. On the Embassy Suites level of service/expecation, this place was not up to par. Still better than HI Express...just cost more.

There were a couple of nights where they cleaned the room but did ot leave towels....however all it took was a phone call and they were always right at our service. This hotel was very convenient. They have a cook to order breakfast which is really nice. They don't have complimentary wireless internet so be prepared to pay to use it. The rooms were pretty nice..decent space. I'd say its a little bit above average.

Hotel is situated very conveniently near airport and across from the HERTZ car rental return. Hotel is need of renovation so the facilities are worn down, the 2 TVs were old CRTs and reception was bad - so not much pleasure […] there. We booked this hotel at the last minute based on the online reviews and price, and I honestly did not have a great experience there. My main issue was the cleanliness of the room. We were walking around in our socks and they were black within 30 minutes, so the carpets are obviously not cleaned very much. We had to wear flip-flops to avoid the grime […] getting on our feet, and that is just unacceptable. The shower had someone else's hair on the wall, and the toilet was hard to flush, as it was a button and not a handle. The swimming pool was clean enough, but the overpowering smell of chlorine/bleach left us teary-eyed within minutes. They did have towels available that were clean and easy to reach when wet. The other issue we had was a wedding reception was going on in the lobby, so we had to listen to mariachi music until almost 10 pm. I know the hotel may not have realized there were small children needing to go to bed, but it was difficult that evening. Other than that we were satisfied with the front desk, they immediately took care of us when we came in. The happy hour and breakfast were really great and helpful with a small toddler. Read more

I figured I was safe with an Embassy Suites Hotel. Not this one. The atrium was okay, but the room was not only old and in need of some TLC, but it was dirty. There was an unmade hide-a-bed, trash in the waste can, and the floor was dirty. Not a good experience.

Decided to stay away from downtown since we wanted to go to Sea World as well as tour Wine country and visit San Marcus, Trip downtown was only about ten minutes and parking was not a problem downtown. The directions via Google ARE confusing, seems there is an easier way to get there (it's RIGHT next to I-410). This was our first stay at Embassy, the atrium is BEAUTIFUL and the room was great, a living room and seperate bedroom. My kiddos had fun on the glass elevators (err, so did I!!). We really made the most of the hotel-- took the kiddos swimming […] after dinner, the indoor pool and hot tub was FANTASTIC. The kiddos slept 2 hours passed the time they usually get up on the weekend! My nephew and I got a chance to go and check out the breakfast offering. YUMM!! Made to order omlets, we both went back for seconds-- spinach, tomatoes and mushroom, highly recommended. Really a great value in this price range. This hotel is near the airport and the main thoroughfares through San Antonio. There are a few restaurants in the area and a grocery store nearby. The complimentary breakfast and manger's reception are always welcomed perks as well. The indoor pool was refreshing and the hot tub was very relaxing.
