This was the dirtiest, most run down hotel I have EVER stayed in. The carpet in the room was so worn down it was either permanently dirty, stained, or no one simply came to vacuum.

This place was the worst hotel that I have stayed in for a very long time. It has not been updated since the 70's. Coffee in the breakfast room had no creamer, sugar or artificial sweetner. I got the desk clerk to get some but they had no artificial sweetner and after staying 4 nights they never got any with a grocery store next door. I will not stay […] there again. Night staff was friendly, daytime staff hadn't passed along info faxed to them at the time of booking. The lobby and corridors were unclean - the carpets hadn't been vacuumed for a while. I prefer cold/cool rooms so it wasn't a big deal that the heat in the room wasn't turned on but the heating/cooling unit was smaller than the opening in the wall - […] outside was visible. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom had everything you would need, and was clean and usable. There was a problem with the electrical outlets along one wall, so only half the lights and sockets worked. The free breakfast wasn't available at 7:30am when I left. Pillows were old and flat, there were cigarette burns on the sheets, the remote control for the TV was missing. I asked for a remote, but never got one. There was also a roach on the bed when I pulled the covers off the bed. The entryway was very filthy the carpet very dirty. The building is not very well maintained.

We were told we could check in at 1pm. We arrived back at the hotel at 3:45 and were told the room wasn't ready. Check in at the hotel is actually 3 pm. We were finally able to check in just after 4pm.

The young fellow at the front desk tried his best but the place itself was horrendous. The walls and carpet were filthy in the halls and the room. It looked as if it had never been vacumned. Dirty floors, old furniture, cigarette stains and burn holes in the furniture and bedspread. The bathtub was stained and icky. The toilet had flushing problems and the air conditioner worked, but you could not control the temperature. Won't be back here!

Where do I start. The halls are narrow and dark. There weren't pillowcases on one bed. The TV stations were limited to 5! The hotel was is a nice location. We thought it would be a pleasant place to stay. When we pulled in the was drug dealing the parking lot. The customer service agent was very nice and helpful, but was lock behind a close window. As we where paying for the room we notice alot of foot traffic up and down the hall ways. I want to leave now but at midnight I was exhusted and had to leave for my flight in three hours and my boyfriend needed sleep so he could drive home ( whichs was 4 1/2 hours away). So we called around and every motel was full. So it left us no choice. The room was clean but there was holes in the walls and the sheets and bedspread was paper thin and very woren looking. I did check for bed bugs and didn't find any. Needless to say I didn't sleep at all and I just work a 12 hours shift and drove 4 1/2 hours. I would not recommend this hotel. What I didnt get was there was three very high priced hotels beside this hotel. Go figure on that one. Read more

It was terrible. As soon as my family and I got in at the front desk there was dust, trach, and the smell of cigarettes everywhere. not the best somewhat rundown. booked 2 rooms and they ended up having one upstairs and one downstairs. Rooms not ready at the check in time.1st room tv didnt work so had to get new room. The hotel was fine for the price you paid. We would like a little more for breakfast, maybe some fruit. Our only concern was some of the people lingering around the front door was uncofortable. They weren't the cleanest or best dressed, etc. Some of the language we heard from them was unsavory.

Well...anyone heard of those scary hotels where the tub is clogged up and there's a funny mildew-like smell in the rooms, and you can hear talking in the room next to you because the walls are so thin? Look no further than the Rodeway Inn in Columbus! Actually...RUN...far away! I should have known that things would be sketchy when the manager who gave […] me my keys said, "well...our wireless is a bit flakey; but you can use the wireless from the hotel next door pretty easily..." Geee....nice...! My bed smelled, and there were no pillowcases. Regardless, I was so tired, I put up w/ this for a night....BIG MISTAKE. There wasn't even a proper bath towel for me (they left me 2 hand towels). So, when I got out of the clogged bath tub after taking a shower the next day, it took forever to dry off. The "continental" breakfast that was offered was pretty scary. I opted to skip the homemade coffee (that looked like it had been sitting all night) and dried out pastries. Instead, I went next door to Starbucks. God...you get what you pay for! I've decided to opt instead to stay at the Hampton Inn and the Renaissance from now on. You get what you pay for! I knew the reviews previously were not great, but I had no idea this place would be as bad as it was. The entire place reminded us of a prison, and from the looks of the people hanging around the front door of the hotel all hours of the day and night, it can't be much different.
