Hmmm let’s see.....ON THE BEACH, 50 feet from the pier and all shops/restaurants, large room WITH portable fan since there is no AC.....ocean front view... room is UNREAAAL....decently priced...FREE breakfast...Coffee/Juice/Milk available for free 24/7.....front staff is awesome.....there you go! This hotel isn’t located on a 5423423 foot cliff like other places. You can literally walk outside and be on the sand. The lounge deck on the 3rd floor is amazing and you can sit there, have a drink, and jus lounge. BEST hotel I’ve stayed at in Pismo. by a Hotels.com guest on 05/31/13

The location is what sells this hotel. Other than that, it is nothing special & overpriced. I'm glad it was my "free" nite with hotels.com which still cost $70! The jacuzzi looks pretty but is small & ineffective. The bathroom was tiny & old. The beds & linens were nice. The staff, common areas, breakfast were also nic,e. We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Wonderful location. Very clean. Super friendly staff. Quiet. Our only slight complaint was the breakfast offered. It lacked variety and interest. We ate off property both mornings. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

The room was comfy, but the blinds were missing slats, the tub/shower combo had dirty grou and the hair dryer did not work. Aside from all that, the breakfast was great and so was the hot tub!

We've stayed here before and love the hotel. This time, we stayed in the building behind the main building. This building is somewhat noisy as we could hear both people going up and down the outside staircase and noise from people walking above us. I prefer the main building to this building.

This is really a modest to downscale motel on the beach. Nothing bad about the facilities but nothing fancy. Rooms are unexciting. The free breakfast is nice, as is the hot tub. The biggest negative is the barebones staff. The single person stationed at the front desk was always nice and friendly, but I think they didn't even realize how non-service […] oriented they were. To get the bags out of your car, you borrow the cart (no assistance). This was fine, but when I returned the cart to the front desk, it was truly comical how the staff person directed me where to put the cart. No one else was there, but instead of taking the cart from me he said "put it outside right over there...no, not there put it against the pole, yes that one, there you go." The hotel staff was wonderful. Got to check in early, room was comfortable, view was beautiful. My whole family was very satisfied with our stay here. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room had a beautiful view. Again, I can't say enough for the staff. Will be staying here again!

We had a great time at this hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful. They are pet friendly and had a little welcome sign for our dog when we arrived. The hotel is directly on the beach.
