Very nice hotel for the price. Clerks were helpful. There was a luggage cart, which was convenient. There was an elevator, even more convenient. Neighborhood was great--a WalMart across the street. Very convenient to the freeway. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is ok, however the service is HORRIBLE, the front desk clerk ERNESTO (skinny guy with glasses) Is very rude, dont ask him twice or too many questions because he will talk back at you in a very rude way and with an attitude, he raised his voice at me in front of my family and others and that is unacceptable, I think he needs Jesus in his life […] and a diffrent job position, maybe working at a circus so it can bring happines to his life. Dirty rooms, cigarette holes in chairs and comforters in a NON-smoking room. No hairdryer or iron in room, although one was available to check out at front desk. Mattress worn out as well as the sheets on the bed. Hotel looks good from outside but worn out rooms on the inside.

I came to El Paso for a long weekend and needed somewhere affordable to stay on the West side of town. Red Roof Inn fit my budget and did not disappoint me. My room was clean, quiet and all appliances worked. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Hotel was located near I-10 and N. Mesa. There is a Walmart, movie theatre, plenty of restaurants, coffee shop, and fast food spots. The Sunland Park Casino and Mall are one freeway exit away. And an acclaimed steak and rib restaurant called The State Line is a must go!

Maybe if you were passing through El Paso for 1 night and everything else was booked up including all the park benches and bus depots then, maybe you would want to stay here. Dirty. Falling apart. Decrepit. There are 2 La Quinta hotels a short walk away - not great either, but 100% better than Dead Roof.

OMG!! Do not stay at this hotel! My boyfriend and I got bitten by disgusting BED BUGS!!! The room was overall gross. I will never ever stay here! Also the ridiculous daily fee for newspaper and gym facility is pointless. Oh and another thing, they only have WIRE INTERNET! Totally old school!! No wireless internet! Dont waste your money here!

I chose this Red Roof Inn for a one-night stay on my trip from Austin to Flagstaff and return trip back to Austin. El Paso was the half-way point for this particular summer trip. With both one-night stays, the rooms are nice; hotel is convenient to I-10 on the way out of El Paso traveling to Flagstaff. There are many places to eat close by, gas stations […] close by, and Wal-Mart is across the street, etc. The staff is very friendly. The only complaint I have is that the beds are not comfortable, but as I was staying only one night, so this was not a major concern. I checked in at 4pm and checked out at 5:30am the next morning. They have a small complimentary coffee bar, which was very nice for my very early morning departures. Read more

The grounds were not kept up. (pool, land scape, etc...) The stair wells smelled like cigarette smoke. The hallway was very hot and stuffy no air flowing. The Ice machines were broken. when we asked about them the hotel service stated they will not be fixed and to use the one in the lobby.

When I visited this time, the lobby smelled like someone was smoking marijuana, the carpets seemed very dirty all the way to and inside my room. The bed only had 3 very small pillows on it and when I requested more the front desk said they were out of everything! Concidering the price, my stay was very enjoyable. The room was a little worn, but everything was functional and very clean. Location is good, next to the I10, easy access to the freeway. Close to a movie theatre, Walmart, restaurants and other convenient stuff.

I stayed at this hotel with my two children (ages 10 and 6) on a recent trip to Arizona. Check in was easy and quick, the room was lacking though. The bathroom was dirty (it was evident someone had used the toilet as it wasn't clean) and one of the two full beds in the room was already turned down and the pillows muffed up as if someone was in the room […] only minutes prior to us! I had heard (from other reviews) that the beds in the RR chain tended to be uncomfortable, and for me that was the case (although my kids slept as expected after a long roadie). In my opinion, the beds were very stiff, and my back agreed the next morning. There are TONS of the popular moderately-priced eateries in this area. We chose the Cracker Barrel right next door - DON'T!! This location seems to use mostly canned sides (as opposed to the made-from-scratch ones I remembered for this chain), and service was mediocre at best. It WAS within walking distance though (but so are many others) and I felt perfectly safe coming back at dusk with my kids in tow. In conclusion, I would expect more from a hotel than this Red Roof provided in terms of the room that we got, but the staff WAS very courteous and easy to deal with. Also, no breakfast is included in the cost of the stay (though none was ever promised), and that might have gone some way in smoothing out the rough edges with this stay who knows. I don't think I could recommend this Red Roof Inn in good faith though unfortunately. Read more

My family and I have been in Ref Roof Inns before and this one was just awful. There was nothing in the room, and I didn't bother to ask for anything either since we were only staying one night. I expected more from Red Roof Inn. When we checked in we were told since it had been so hot lately (not unusual weather for El Paso, TX), we had to keep our air conditioner on low cool, not high cool, or it would die out on us. The room was so hot, at 8pm, that we couldn't even stay there. Neither low cool nor high cool made it any more comfortable. […] It finally cooled off around 4am the next morning. Then, the next day it was hot again. Also, the free on demand shows didn't work, and after inquiring to the desk they said they would look at the computer and call me back. They never did. Their WIFI didn't work either, and nobody who worked there could figure it out. The most disappointing thing was the room being so darn hot. Not what you want to walk into after a long car trip. It was just an overnight stay as we were traveling to a softball camp in Tucson Arizona. The hallway did not have air and the rooms were nasty. All they had in the morning was a small coffee pot, no breakfast snack of any kind. We had to move to another room because of no a/c. I will pass this one by if I go through El Paso again

Bad air conditioning units, front desk not at all helpful, was told to keep turning unit to low then high throughout my stay. Very warm and uncomfortable in the room. My grandkids and I slept miserably but the front desk would not change our room.
