At half the price of other local hotels we were more than satisfied. Breakfast was extra since we purchased via Expedia, but the $18 breakfast was better than double the room price.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Pleasant Stay Near DC"
My family and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It's located in VA but minutes from DC. Arlington has lots to see as well. The hotel is walking distance from restaurants, drug store/pharmacies, etc. WholeFoods is about a mile away. It has an indoor pool which was great for my 9 year old son. We had it all to ourselves on a Saturday night. It also […] has free parking and wifi (although pretty weak) which is a deciding factor for me. Our room had a balcony which we all loved. Will definitely be staying here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and great price"
This os the second time I've stayed here and wasn't dissapointed. Just a few minutes away from the marine corps memorial and Arlington national cemetery and a 10 minute train ride to the smithsonian, Washington monument, and Lincoln memorial. Great restaurant on the top floor and free parking! Everywhere is Washington charges like 25+ for parking. My […] room was missing the fridge, but I had a balcony. Breakfast was included with my rate, but be sure to ask for your breakfast card. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Love this hotel. Stayed here on our way to NY. and booked it again upon return. Friendly staff, comfortable room, beautiful view from balcony and restaurant, in walking distance of Georgetown. We ventured further and walked to the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, MLK Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Korean Memorial, park, etc., ate in Georgetown overlooking […] the river. We will return. Amazing, I loved it. I stayed here with a friend that was visiting for the weekend, and we had an amazing time. The front desk staff were amazing and very funny. We had a great room. The location of this hotel was nice as well. Super close to Georgetown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"For the price, excellent choice. Can't go wrong"
Rooms are clean. Staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Skip the hotel breakfast. You're better off with options at Georgetown. It's OK for one day, but not more than that.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location. Just 2 blocks from the Rosslyn metro station. Nice neighborhood, but not a lot of restaurants in the area... a few but not a lot. If you use the subway during morning and afternoon rush hour then be prepared for crowds as Rosslyn is a major business center, but the DC subways were always pretty busy. The Rosslyn metro is located under […] a mall that is kind of old, but it does have news stands, convenient shops and a Rite Aid. The hotel is about 20 years old (I googled it). Starting to show some age, but overall not bad. We got the room at a great rate and it was worth the price. Bathroom could have been kept in a little better condition. Housekeeping kept bathroom clean, it was just showing some age. Each room has a balcony with nice views and the rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has garages connected to the hotel for parking. The parking was free which is rare for a DC hotel. Parking spaces were easy to find. Free wifi for every room, and it always worked. The Vantage Point hotel on the 17th floor wasn't too bad, but overpriced. Another cafe is located on the 1st floor that is good for quick morning snacks. Overall I would recommend this hotel for location, free parking, good rates and friendly staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice position, close to Rosslyn Metro station. Room is clean and big. Service is good, free public printer. Top roof restaurant has nice view over DC/Georgetown area, price is reasonable.Genuine Expedia guest review

The free parking is a plus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location, love the free parking, friendly staff. Ate at restaurant upstairs and was reasonably priced especially for all the food we got....view is outstanding. The only thing I would want the management to know is that we went swimming, and the lifeguard informed us we had to get in the pool with our kids. That was fine, but shortly later a Muslim […] woman wearing a headdress came with her two kids. Obviously it would infringe on her religious beliefs to take it off/get in the pool with her children, so her poor kids had to stay at the edge of the pool. I'm not sure what you're paying the lifeguard for, to be honest. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"great location, good hotel, free parking"
Great location. It is right off the blue and red metro line. This decreases waiting time when ultizing the train. Good eats around the neighborhood and nearby a grocery store. The room is equipped with a fridge. Free parking for people traveling with cars. I would not suggest renting a car in DC unless you were traveling afar as traffic, road work, […] and parking complicates the matter. The room had very good view of the river, bed was comfortable, the carpet a little dirty and uneven (felt the carpet was coming up). Other than that, the staff was very nice, they had a large pool, and workout room. This place is good the family, business, and tourists. Easy to get to from the metro, safe neighborhood, and great price! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable Proximity to DC"
Close to Rosslyn metro. Accomodating staff. Fairly clean room with great views of the Potomac if you are on the correct side of the building. Staying in Arlington is a comfortable alternative to staying in DC-- it's cheaper and a good way to leave the city chaos in the city. Bathroom's a little outdated and my biggest complaint is elevators! You will […] always be waiting a while for an elevator. There aren't enough to accomodate the amount of people coming and coming on all 16 floors. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Carpet is filthy"
Our socks were filthy after walking about 30mins in the room. Suspect that room never gets vacuumed. Would not allow your kids on the carpet. Tables & even the Bible was sticky. Staff is helpful & pleasant, but would not recommend this H.I.Genuine Expedia guest review

Great hotel. WIFI Free but does not work with Apple Products! Breakfast a great bargain but menu the same EVERY DAY! Refrigerator not in room, as promised. Delivered one immediately to our room. "Convenience to DC Metro"
The hotel was perfect for what I wanted - proximity to DC metro, free parking, free WiFi. There are reviews complaining about insufficient parking spaces. I stayed on a Friday night and was able to park in the first row. I called the hotel in advance and they said in the rare instance of some special affair where the parking lot fills up, they open […] up reserved spaces for their customers. My only complaint also applies to almost all other hotels and is that their room doors slam and can be heard down the entire hallway. You would think hotels would find quieter doors. "Quiet and affordable place to stay for business tr"
The hotel is very nice with a good view on top. Very close to bus stops and metro going to DC. Many coffee shops nearby and convenience stores. "Nice hotel just outside of DC and near Metro"
Nice hotel just outside of DC and very close to the Rosslyn Metro station. The hotel is a little pricey, but the rooms are nice, clean and the hotel staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable. The Vantage Point Restaurant is at the top of the Hotel on the 17th floor. We had the breakfast buffet which was nice, but a little limited. They did not have […] pancakes or Waffles, but had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, breads for toast, bagels, pineapple, honeydew and OJ and tomato juice. All the food at the buffet was good overall and you can order fresh cooked meals as well. Parking was very convenient and free. BONUS: You can get coupons for the buffets or for dinner if you are nice and ask for them. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel close to Georgetown University"
We have now stayed here several times and are always very pleased with the hotel cleanliness, friendly staff and overall experience! We have enjoyed the 17th floor restaurant/lounge with a beautiful view. Last week, though the restaurant was closed for a special event an all you can eat buffet was offered that was PHENOMENAL! Beef, Ham, Salmon all cooked […] to perfection served with sides (salads, potatoes..) and your choice of several delicious desserts! A short walk over the Key Bridge takes you to Georgetown University and the Georgetown neighborhood. A couple blocks to the Rosslyn metro station takes you anywhere you want to go in DC. "Sleepless in Rosslyn"
This hotel has a great location near many DC destinations and offers free parking for guests which is unusually for the area. There are many places to eat nearby as are the Metro station and bike trails. The downside of this hotel is the lack of elevators in operation. There are three guest elevators for a rather tall building with a small footprint. […] The wait for an elevator will often try one's patience. Allow extra time for the wait. On previous stays I found this hotel to be very quite. On my latest stay there were young ladies being very loud past 1:30am (probably waiting for the elevator) that kept me awake and then planes from Reagan were flying overhead very early in the morning. Neither of these problems were within the control of the hotel but just unexpected after previous quiet stays. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I requested two double beds, but they were not available when we checked in. We were upgraded to a king suite. But sleeping on a coach is not really comfortable. The restaurant on the top floor has a very nice view. But it was closed for a special event on Saturday. Front desk personnel is very young and inexperienced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"great location. Near rail station."
It was great. Promised a fridge but it never got delivered to the room. Parking was great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had to wait 10 minutes or more for another customer service girl to come out to check us into this hotel and by that time a line was behind me, because 1 person was already checking a lady in, another was on the phone with an expedia reservation problem, that's why we waited so long. Hotel is beautiful & kept clean, beautiful view from our balcony […] of our room of the Key Bridge & Potomac River. NOT close to sites like stated on line, you have to take the Metro Subway and my handicapped granddaughter did not like that at all, it was terrifying for her, I wish we would have been provided at check in with a Metro Bus Guide and what sights were close by, since we had limited time there with staying just overnight. I had selected this hotel for a 2 night stay with my family after reading so many positive reviews. I will say that my top priority with any hotel room is cleanliness, and our room was spotless. However, the mattress was horrible. The springs made a lot of noise every time either I or my husband shifted during the night. We could very clearly hear a […] crying child in the middle of the night (for about 20 min), which doesn't say much for the soundproofing at the hotel. And the internet! well, i should say... what internet? I was virtually unable to use my iPad in the room, which was incredibly frustrating. The restaurant on the top floor isn't bad, but it is overpriced for the quality of food. I was happy about free parking and the proximity to everything in DC, but not happy enough overall that i would ever stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice but could be more client-friendly."
Very nice accommodations but wish this fancy hotel, like other lower-fared motels such as Days Inn, could find it in their expansive budget to provide free continental breakfast. Hard to imagine they can't afford it considering the accommodations. Also, almost half the parking spaces in the onsite parking garage are "Reserved" for...well, who knows? […] Luckily, the front desk allowed us to use one of the many empty reserved spots that evening when we arrived back around 11pm. The front desk had to write down our room number, I assume in case they needed us to move our vehicle at some point. Otherwise, nice place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great stay in D.C."
This hotel is only 15 minutes from DCA and almost right next to the Roslyn Metro station. The hotel staff was great and room cleaning staff did an excellent job even with my late starts every morning or should I say early afternoons. The metro station is such an easy walk, you just cross one signal and your there and you can easily walk to the Marine […] Corps War Memorial and Arlington Cemetary. The metro is only minutes from D.C. and all the tourist attractions. The Metro center also has a small mall with a CVS bank ATM's and other handy little shops. Just as close as the Metro are various restaurants including a 24 hr MacDonalds. My only concern with this hotel was my room key had to be replace three times during my 5 night stay. The front desk replaced both keys with no problems, but just a bit of a pain having to go back down the elevator each time. Overall would stay here again for any future D.C. trips. It was just across the street form the Key bridge at Georgetown. If you like to walk it was a great hike to DC and Georgetown. If you don't like to walk the Metro station was just a block away. Nice and clean, the staff was friendly enough, nothing stood out to make it an excellent hotel or stay. The price was not too bad. Although I cannot comment […] on the food at the restaurant because I did not eat there, the prices were very high by looking at the menu. We spent the weekend walking from the hotel into DC. Since we have been to DC plenty of times we skipped the tourist areas and spent out time around the neighborhoods of DC and found some wonderful shops and restaurants. "Great location for family visit to DC"
The hotel is an easy walk from the Rosslyn Metro station, making it convenient for getting around DC. The pool was as advertised--great fun for the family and well maintained and life guarded. The parking is free if your car fits in the garage. If you're traveling with a storage box on top of your car, as we were, the car won't fit, meaning parking […] can be a bit problematic. The staff were quite slow to arrive with the rollaway bed that was requested with the reservation--and we got in late and the kids were tired!, but the desk staff overall were quite nice and very helpful. The main value to this hotel was its location: a few blocks from metro station, right on Potomac, walking distance to downtown restaurants, and 5-10 min. drive to other restaurants. 1) Parking is FREE. That is huge in the DC area because that's hard to come by. Spacious, clean room overlooking the Potomac. Good location, convenient to Metro. "Wonderful place to stay when going to DC."
We took a family vacation to DC. I chose this Holiday Inn because it is so close to the Metro, there are refrigerators in the rooms (some), and since we were driving there, they offered free parking, oh and free Wi-Fi. The room was clean and updated and had a wonderful view of the Potomac out the window. It was a nice place to come home to after a day […] of walking all over DC. We had a balcony, but there was a bar attached so we couldn't open the door. We assumed they didn't want people on the balcony. When I checked out I found out that they would have removed the bar for us if we would have only asked. It would have been worth it to go out on the balcony at night. It was a great stay anyway.
