Good spot for business trip to the Rosslyn area. Right next to the Metro and generally a good hotel for the price. A few issues though: wifi was cutting out repeatedly, food in the restaurant is mediocre, bathroom was pretty outdated and small, but clean. The area is also like a financial district, lots of lunch type places and lots of people around in the day, but not much in the way of dinner options or other things to do in the evening. Bed was comfortable, nice view of Georgetown, pretty quiet room, good price, good fitness center.

There was some good stuff and there was so not so good stuff. The view and location and price where excellent but this is an older hotel that needs to be gutted out and remodeled. Our room service breakfast was not good. Requested scrambled eggs... got fired eggs that where then scrambled. The staff attitude was good but we didn't get our room cleaned 1day. But, upon request they brought up fresh towels and coffee supplies. Bright Spot: the gym was excellent. The coffee shop was bare bones not much of a selection. But for $99 in DC, I can't complain...

Overall, for price this is a good hotel. Dining room staff provided superior customer service. My only disappointment, that the room cleanliness. My children left with bites on their legs. Room furniture could be updated too.

Great staff and the hotel was entertaining. Rooms did have stained carpet and marks on the wall, only negative remarks I could come up with. I will definitely take my wife here again to see the city and to eat dinner and the restaurant the hotel offers.

Room service was horrible. Asked for additional set of cups several times, got them only at the end of next day and only when I came myself to the front desk. Cleaning service was terrible, seemed like no one was even doing any cleaning there. And what amazed me the most is the found large medical container with pills found under one of the beds at the time of check out (apparently it had been there for at least during the previous guests's stay, if not even longer). Waited for almost an hour to speak with a manager at the time of check out, and yet she couldn't do anything (refund, or at least the hotel credit) to somehow reimburse for the inconvenience, explaining because I booked the hotel through Hotels.com. Very disappointing experience. I wish Hotels.com could do anything with it. Thank you.

If looking for a pool for kids, this hotel is not where you'd want to stay. The pool starts a 4ft-6ft so my little kids couldn't swim. They don't do room service during ur stay. Meaning your trash won't be taken out, you have to do it yourself and also u have to go and request more towels and rags. They won't bring you new ones. Also the hotel restaurant is terrible! They advertise kids eat for free win paying adults, but once the kids eat they add the kids meal to your bill. Then the will remove the meal, but making sure u pay tax on each kids meal. Totally tacky and a ripoff. And the restaurant on the 17th floor staff is very rude

Very old building, had stat turned on high cool all night. Room temp never went below 80 degrees. Had to open balcony door in order to cool the room off. My wife and I were sweating trying to get ready for our night out. We were able to get some of our money back for the room considering it was tough trying to get any sleep in with 80 degree temps. Was told by the hotel that there was pretty much nothing they could do as it is a older hotel and every where is going to be the same temperature.

Free garage parking - almost unheard of in DC. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were kept clean and we had everything we needed. Internet in the room was also free, and although very slow in the evenings, it worked. We had breakfast at the top floor restaurant 2 days. The view is incredible and the servers are wonderful. My daughter has celiac and our host made sure she was well taken care of both days. I had the buffet one day and an omelette the next. The omelette was huge and very good. The buffet is a good value at $9.95 as drinks are also included. The hotel is a block from the Rosslyn Metro station and very close to all the DC attractions. It is a safe neighborhood with the Hyatt, Le Meridian, and businesses close at hand. Restaurants and Starbucks are in an easy 1 to 2 block walk. My daughter and I felt safe even when walking after dark.

This hotel was in a great location within an easy walk to the subway stop. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was pleasant and helpful. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room in the morning and a blow dryer in the bathroom, but these were minor things to give up for the price, which was excellent.

Just across the Potomac from Washington DC this is a great home base to see and do all the attractions of Washington DC. Rates are affordable and the free parking is reason enough to stay here. The views of the DC skyline from my balcony were spectacular and the room was very comfortable. Drawback was the breakfast, which is $10 extra and about the same as you get for free at other hotels. After my first day I walked the 3 blocks to Panera and got a better breakfast for less money.

We have stayed 3 nights. The first night was awful. Our room supposed to be non-smoking, and it was. But there was connecting door to the adjacent room, and through that door the cigarette smoke was coming. In addition the people in that room were noisy and were listening to the loud music the whole day and evening, so until 11pm we could not sleep. Next day we asked for other room, and the hotel service was able to do this for us without asking. The next room was up to our expectations. What I like about this hotel is the free parking and proximity to metro. No one can beat that. It is easy to get to Georgetown, just through the bridge so there is access to nice restaurants. Definitely I would stay in this hotel due to value and convenience.

You can't beat the location. Close to Rosslyn metro station and very easy access to local highways. Not a lot of restaurants in area but jump on Metro and one or two stations away will give you a lot of choices.

I stayed with family for three nights on a business trip to DC. The hotel is in Rosslyn close to Georgetown's Key Bridge and a block from the Metro rail station. The staff was friendly and helpful. While breakfast was not included (a flaw in my view) the restaurant manager was very nice and the food good. We did not have a chance to use the pool or fitness room but enjoyed the free parking, a real plus in a high-priced parking neighborhood. The hotel provided a good mix of comfort and proximity that made our stay convenient.

For my wife and I this was the best. Block and a half from Metro. If you're in D.C. for sightseeing tak the Metro the have a 65+ discount. Price of room includes parking. Mattress and pillows the best. Room had a balcony and view. The Vantage point restaurant had a very romantic atmosphere and a view. Breakfast buffet $10. Lunch and dinner reasonable price and the food was fresh and prepared well. All the staff smiled and was very willing to help. You can't go wrong. Book it.

The 17 th floor restaurant for breakfast was great. The room was ok but one of our pillows had a terrible odor. They did replace it upon request but the odor set a negative beginning. The location was very close to the metro and right across the bridge from Georgetown.

i asked for sheets washed in fragrance free laundry products. the guy said they would bring them . i never received them and could not sleep due to severe headache.

Most affordable option with free parking included in an otherwise pricey area just outside of DC. Great views of Key Bridge and Georgetown across the river. Accessible via Orange Line on Metro, which is walking distance away. Good place for families stopping by DC as it is near both I-66 and Rt 110 providing connections to downtown DC and Arlington Cemetery.

Very Nice Hotel. Check in 3 minutes and check out in 2 minutes. Free indoor parking. Free in-room WiFi. Restaurant and swimming pool were excellent

Horrible! The water never got hot. There was no shower curtain & after calling the front desk 5 times & after 3 hours they finally bought one. Will never stay at a Holiday Inn again.
