I needed an inexpensive room for a short say in Pittsburg. The room was small with one double bed, which was perfect for me. Bed was comfy, slept well. Only issues were one of the outlets didn't work so I had to plug a camera battery in the bathroom (no biggie) and the hair dryer did not work. When I told the front desk, they apologized and handed me a working one. The front desk peeps were very friendly and helpful with directions. I would recommend this place, at least for a solo traveler. It is convenient to downtown, Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburg, the cultural area and I'm sure to many places I don't even know about. Oh, FREE continental breakfast, too...with LOTS to choose from.

The room was very spacious. The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was clean. Price was very reasonable for the accommodations. It is awkward to get to this hotel as it looks like you're driving behind store fronts. Don't stay here if you're looking for a beautiful view. You see the back of Kohls. But if you're more interested in the room, food, and comfort. You can't go wrong here.

A friend and I visited Pittsburgh for a weekend girls' getaway. Pittsburgh is a beautiful city! Hotel located right downtown. Can walk to pretty much any restaurant or bar. Not too busy for a downtown area. Hotel staff very friendly and informative. We had a toilet spill in our room that ran out onto the carpet and we were given a free upgrade to a suite right down the hall, without asking! Beds were confy. Very nice hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Broken lock on door, supposed to be non-smoking, but smelled bad. Even my clean cloths in the suitcase, and suitcase smelled when we got home. Mold in bathroom, cracked ceiling and caulking separated in bathroom. Tub was 2 foot off the floor, new toilet was not installed neatly. Blow dryer would not work. Definetley not worth the money!

I was disappointed that in the info on the hotel it said there was printing capability in a business center and when I got there I was told there was none. I had to go out searching for a place to print my registration reports for the fundraising walk I was doing the next day. I will never stay there again!

we only stayed one night but it was really nice. The outside of the hotel looked old so I was dreading what the inside was going to be like. The rooms were updated. We just got a non-smoking room with a full bed. Granite countertops and flat screen tv and good space for 2 adults.

This is basically a nice hotel, but it's noisy. You could hear every person walking the concrete walkways or dragging a rollerboard all night. Knocks on nearby doors, and people talking were annoying too. We stayed here the weekend of my daughter's grad from PITT. It was a convenient location but I wouldn't recommend staying here for a vacation. It was convenient to sleep and get washed in, we were very busy during the day so need to hang out in the room. The bathroom had an odd smell too. They were also stingy with the towels, and didn't clean or make […] up our room the first day we were there. So if you are looking for luxurious and squeeky clean, this place isn't it. Looking to only stay overnight, this hotel served its purpose for us. We arrived late and basically only slept there, but it was by far the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in. The price was fair for it's ammentities, but I would not recommend this hotel for more than a place to sleep.

We stayed here over Christmas because it was very close to family. Hotel is older, but was clean and well maintained. We got light snow, which was cleared quickly. The Eat N Park next door and Sheetz across the street were very convenient. We didn't try the continental breakfast. We'll definitely stay there again.
