Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas DFW Airport North/Irving

On a pleasure overnight trip my significant other and I were given an upgraded room. The price was perfect for short notice and the continental breakfast right on time for a morning flight. It was very clean with just the standard amenities no real bells and whitsles.

We were very pleased at early check in. Sorry I can't remember her name but she was very friendly and helpfull. We took the shuttle for supper and the driver was very friendly also. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were no frills but offered clean beds, bathroom and 32" flat screen TV to rest before and early mng flight. The shuttle bus driver was professional, prompt and pleasant. Good value.

After visiting family locally, just spent the night to take airport shuttle in the a.m. Staff were all very pleasant, especially the drivers who took us to nearby restaurant for dinner and airport. Although this hotel is older, it has been kept nicely. My only complaint was that we stayed Christmas night. It was a late arival and so we wanted to sleep in the next Morning. Since the day after Christmas was a Monday the hotel resumed its regular breakfast hours (6-9). The majority of people were off that day. The hotel is undergoing some renovation and the elevator was broken. Thankfully, it is only 2 floors. There is no indoor pool and the location is really only convient to DFW. There are no wall thermostats, only the standard hotel heater/AC. That is all of the bad stuff I can come up with. The hotel is convenient to the airport and comfortable and the service is good. The breakfast was acceptable but not as good as in the competition. The room was perfectly acceptable, but the appointments and quality are of a lower level than other hotels at the same price level.

With on-going highway construction, t was a little difficult getting to the hotel. However, once there it was a very nice hotel for the price. The breakfast was very good and the front desk workers were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was quite helpful changing my room around so that I could be on the ground floor. They also told me where to go to get a good meal, since there are no good places to eat nearby. Great exercise facility!!!

Very nicely maintained hotel. Lobby, room, elevators and halls clean. Courteous staff. Only one downside, which was when booking, I believed that hotel shuttle dropped at various locations. Found out that basically was an airport to hotel only.
