"Good budget friendly hotel for area"
Room was comfortable, a little musty but the location and the quality of the breakfast made up for it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was only here for one night, but it was very nice ,comfortable, relaxing. The layout of the hotel is quite attractive. The only drawback: walls are extremely thin, and I could hear the neighbor's tv. But it wasn't that big a deal, still slept great. If you're traveling on business, this is the perfect nugget for you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
when we arrive to the hotel the receptionist was talking on the phone, for what i heard it sound like a private conversation and not related to her job, we have to wait until she was finish with the phone. The carpet in the room are very stain, very dirty, the floor in the bathroom was very stiky.Genuine Expedia guest review
"ok for the price"
The stay here was decent, rooms were a good size, beds were nice, breakfast was good....but the carpet was disgusting! My son walked around for about 10 minutes bare foot, and his feet were black! We then tested it ourselves, clean feet out of the shower, by the time you make it across the room, black feet, it was as if the room had flooded and they […] didn't bother to clean the carpet, but we were on the second floor. Eew. We had to wear our sandals all the time, and I couldn't let me son run around as I would have normally. Eew, eew. I must say, it did look as if they were starting some repairs/renovations on our way out, but those carpets should have been replaced long ago. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Our room had all the convinces. Very comfortable. The only problem was getting into the hotel from the town of Campbell having to make a u turn in the prune yard parking lot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Dirty Rm and lack of maintenance"
Electrical lamp cord was spliced with exposed wires. Room was not clean with hair and loose dirt on carpet. Same with bathtub. Lots of old dirt and very dirty tile grout in bathroom. Great location next to Los Gatos Creek trail.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
good locationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"came through in a pinch"
I was with family for a university graduation, so we didn't spend time at the hotel except to sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The location was the best. The bathroom had a hole in the ceiling with stuff falling out. They did fix it but it should have been done earlier. The carpet by the door was filthy, wear shoe, the bottom of my socks were dirty from walking around the room. People were nice and the breakfast was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Back in the 60's..."
We paid for 2 nights and were so disappointed by the smell (sweet carpet cleaner smell), the untidy carpet (had to wear my shoes all the time), the worn, out-dated chairs (too awful to sit in), the sticky top of the chest of drawers and the gap in the door that let light shine in that we slept on top of the covers, packed in the morning and went to […] a different hotel. I was told it was "quaint"...not so much. The location in Campbell was close to my sister in San Jose. It did have a coffee pot and hair dryer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Basic room, simple and clean. Great neighborhood. Walking distance to movie theatres and restaurants. Nice pool. Jacuzzi was broken during my stay. (bummer). Nice nature path near hotel. Good free breakfast with crispy bacon!.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Dated but clean"
Furniture and room decor was pretty old, but bed was new and comfortableGenuine Expedia guest review
"Staff nice, rooms have a retro 70s feel - ouch!"
Campbell Inn was great 15 or 20 years ago, but they have let it go. Decor is from the 70s or 80s, the AC units are loud and my room was so close to Hwy 17, I could hear traffic all night long.Genuine Expedia guest review
"convenient to old town campbell ca"
the hotel is steps away from Ainsley House, the home of one of the founding families of Campbell. the historic downtown is vibrant with upscale, quaint gathering spots. the town park and creekside pathway is steps away.Genuine Expedia guest review
This inn was in a perfect location. Our stay was 3 days and unfortunately the cleaning staff did not understand English well. We were out of the room practically the entire day and came back to rest in the afternoon but the room was not serviced. Unfortunately the cleaning staff mistook my husband by saying he just wanted pillows and towels. It was […] because we came back to the inn to sleep but nothing was done at all. We had a hard time making ourselves understood by the cleaning staff. However, the front desk clerks were very accommodating. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We needed a place to spend a few days near the medical center. This was an excellent choice that balanced location, cost, and adequacy of our needs. It does not have the contemporary look of the branded hotel chains, but rather that of an older property reflected in the lower, and fair, cost. Pros: The breakfast provided each day was excellent and […] with a variety of choices. The dining room had nice ambiance and the pool and patio area was quiet and peaceful. Although some reviews have been critical of the cleanliness of the carpets, our room had clean carpets not appearing inappropriately worn. Location was great being only a couple of blocks from quaint downtown Campbell and city park as well as close to shopping mall. In room refrigerator and microwave. Cons: Rooms were a little on the dark side and needed either more, or brighter, lights. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We stay at the Campbell Inn whenever we are in the San Jose area!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel room condition wasn't great. There was sawdust on the couch....not sure what that was about. The desk chair was broken. The most amazing part was on and off throughout the night there were dogs barking. I called the front desk asking if animals were allowed...they said no. So I told them that someone had a few dogs nearby and they wouldn't keep […] quiet. They told me they'd check it out. Finally I got tired of it and decided to go outside....found the room just a few doors over that clearly had a small dog or two inside. I called the desk back....come to find out its the MANAGERS ROOM! The manager has dogs in a hotel where animals aren't allowed. Cool. So I ask if they'd fix the situation...(already 10 or 11pm by now...I want to sleep)....the girl at the desk asks kind of surprised 'You want me to call the manager?' I said sure...because I'm trying to sleep. (I should care the manager might get put out or something?). So this goes on for awhile...I call back and they say that they can't reach the manager. Awesome! Noisy dogs in a hotel where they aren't allowed and there's nothing they can do about it. 5-stars!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient location for my travels to the Bay Area"
This hotel is an aged entity but it provides good basic accommodation for a lesser price point. Staff is friendly, breakfast is provided, lots of freeway noise, do get an upstairs unit, use the elevator if lots of luggage. Very mixed bag of occupants, but no problem there. I use it as a convenient way point for visiting friends, doctors, my son, and […] other folks. Bed is adequate but in a pinch you could feel the pea under the mattress. Pillows are too small, I bring my own. There is a fridge and micro, that is nice. All in all this has served its purpose on 8 or 9 visits. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The place was beautiful! The grounds were so relaxing and enjoyable with all the lovely flowers. My mom and I stayed there and would stay again. It was nice to walk through Campbell in the evening-so much happening!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would stay there again"
Can't beat location! Everything is within walking distance. Would stay there again but not for the experience but for the convenience.Genuine Expedia guest review
Campbell Inn is very convenient to Pruneyard shopping area and a short walk to downtown Campbell. This Inn has potential but it needs a lot of attention. In short, the hotel is VERY tired. It needs major upgrading and maintenance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good hotel. Only complaint is that the next door room was the breakfast room or kitchen, and it had a continuous loud fan on. Otherwise, very nice!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Decent hotel - fair price for the area."
Hotels are all overpriced in this area. If you want to save a few dollars this is a good choice. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Full breakfast buffet with a lot of hot food. Staff were friendly. Pay attention when arriving at the hotel - it is right after you go under the bridge - if you are not paying attention you will drive right by it. […] The running path goes right through the parking lot - very convienant. Will stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Los Gatos trail runs behind the hotel. Will stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The place is a bit run-down. The bed was done 10yrs ago and the room itself was dated by a decade, or two. It is in a good location, that's about all I can say.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would stay again"
We just spent 5 nights at the Campbell Inn, and after reading some pretty negative reviews, had seriously considered canceling. So we were pleasantly surprised to find a great location, very clean and comfortable room (I wish I could have brought the bed back home!), and plentiful and varied breakfast buffet, which we appreciated very much. The only […] negative I really noticed was the freeway traffic noise. We elected to stay on the second floor, but don't know if that made any difference in the noise level. Next trip to San Jose, we look forward to staying there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"An Old Tired Building but a great location!"
The poor building is screaming out for paint, decorating, and overall updating, but the location is awesome (walk to downtown Campbell, which is awesome, as well as the Pruneyard Shopping Center, and the Los Gatos Creek Trail, which is great for walking, running or biking. They have a free hot buffet breakfast, which is good and convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel, good price"
While not the lap of luxury, the Campbell Inn was well priced and a reasonably well kept, albeit out of date, hotel. If you can live without a large flat screen tv and on-demand media, then this is a fine hotel to be at.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Too far gone"
We have stayed at the Campbell Inn every year while visiting family for the past several years. We have seen it deteriorate due to deferred maintenance and lack of upgrades. Unfortunately, this once upscale motel has gone past the point of no return. Not only has the condition worsened but the prices have gone up. The final factor for us was their […] new no pet policy. They required a sworn statement that we would not bring our pet into the room under penalty of a stiff additional cleaning fee. As if the rug had really been cleaned in the past several years. Good bye Campbell Inn. We will look elsewhere for a motel that cares about its clientele's needs. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Didn't feel comfortable"
The hotel was located in a bit of a strange place and was not well maintained; we almost checked out but remained only due to the high rate we had paid. It was not comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Customer service & hotel needs work"
Front desk has a definite attitude . . . as if they wish they were somewhere else. Your hotel policy of requiring my drivers license number is totally unacceptable and I refused to provide it. The explanation given was not coherent (needed to identify my vehicle). I told them that my vehicle license plate numbers would accomplish that purpose . . . […] and provided it. The hotel is old and needs to be upgraded. The A/C heater selection cannot be changed . . . set at 88 degrees! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Campbell Inn needs to be freshened up. Stained towels, antique bed covers, sheets don't fit the bed, bad faucets. Needs paint. But the breakfast is greatGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Showing it's age"
Over the years the building, rooms, and grounds have slowly began to show the lack of quality maintenance. This lack of maintenance has aloud the Inn to become a bit of a dump.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"We can recommend"
It took two calls to get extra hand towels and Kleenex. Old hotel and while rooms were updated and looked nice, the bathroom sink fixture needs replacing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Classic old-school hotel/motel - great town too!"
Campbell Inn will take you back a few years to the days of unbranded, locally owned and cared for hotels/motels. If that's what you like, you'll like this. If not, maybe not. Good clean rooms and great location. Campbell is a wonderful town in the middle of the sprawl of San Jose area, and will make you glad you found it.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Tied but functional"
This wasn't my first choice by a long way so it would be unfair to be overly negative. While the hotel feels tied and in need of a general overhaul, it was clean and tidy and generally reasonable for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"clean but tired"
Decent location, room was clean but really dated and not very well maintained.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
