our stay was fine. We were there for business and the hotel is a pet friendly hotel which allowed us to bring our dog.

The heat in the original room did not work, but they happily put us in a new room and we were very comfortable. The pool was filthy, but the sauna was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our room was spacious and clean. Along with the rest of the hotel. Best mattress ever!! Not sure how it was so soft yet firm at the same time. A very convenient location with plenty of great restaurant choices. Only thing I wish was a little better would be the breakfast. It was a little scarce. Also, the hot tub/spa was out of order.

"Not easy to find"
Some light fixtures did not work in our room. The bathroom wasn't big enough for 2 people. The king size bed was broken down and very hard to get comfortable. On a good note the employees that we interacted with were very friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

the Dayton police were at the front desk checking up on the place when I was checking in. a good sign that they're looking out for the place, or a bad sign that they have to look after the place? many people there seem to be "long term" guests -- staying there weekly or monthly. so there are a lot of people hanging around areas -- lobby, stairways, […] outside -- just passing time. there's a sign in the morning breakfast area that reads "you will be charged $3 per item if you leave the breakfast area with any food. no exceptions." plus, this hotel is literally/physically connected with knights inn...essentially the same hotel. it should be 1/2 the price it is for the nightly rate. "Don't stay Here"
You get what you pay for! We booked several rooms for an event with teenagers from out of town. The location is good but, that is all!! They are supposed to be renevating but, must be a very slow process. We called a year ago and not much had been done. I asked that all the rooms be together on the non-smoking floor and 3 were not. The rooms are dirty, […] carpets are stained and smell. My daughters room had something splattered up the wall, on the lampshade and on the ceiling of her room. Blankets have holes in them and many towels are stained. When I mentioned the splatter to the front desk -she said it was probably hair dye. My room was supposed to be non-smoking and smelled terrible. A lot of shady characters were hanging out in the lobby and hallways that gave you a very unsafe feeling and at no time did I ever see hotel security. "Serves purpose."
This hotel served its purpose for me, which was a place to sleep for the night. Room was not anything to bragg about. Old blankets with holes in them, very visable stains on the carpet. The front desk gentleman was very nice, but unfortunately this was the best part of our stay. Our room smelled bad, the bed was disgusting (hair, stains, and cigarette burn holes in the sheets), and the shower/jacuzzi was so gross my husband and I didn't shower before we left. "Terrible, terrible"
The hotel is extremely difficult to find--the sign is illuminated very poorly, so it took a while to find. We stayed on a Sat night and there were about 10 cars total in the parking lot when we arrived close to midnight. The hotel is rather secluded, and the parking lot poorly lit. I was very concerned about my car overnight here. The hotel itself was […] even worse--the whole place reeks of smoke, the non-smoking room still smells funny, and overall the place was in disrepair. Very uncomfortable beds, and blankets were not enough to stay warm. The TV was and old box and the screen was orange for the first 10 minutes until it warmed up. the I would have never stayed here but I unfortunately booked it in advance based on the average review from this site (I should have read the reviews, but we were in a hurry... lesson learned). The only redeeming thing about the hotel in my eyes was the staff was at least friendly, and it was affordable. But there are other equally affordable places in less sketchy areas that don't smell of smoke and have a pool filled with dirt... Hard to find at night as nothing was lit up with the only sign on the freeway side of the hotel. When I first checked in the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. They saw my laptop, folders and offered to upgrade me to a room with a workstation for free. Inside the room was very basic, outdated, with items that are on their last legs. Shower […] curtain was caked with chest hair, but the rest of the room was acceptably clean. Overall, it's only for those that are looking for a place to sleep, you get your choice of rooms for the price of a bed in a shared room at a hostel. Hotels.com had the wrong address in both confirmation emails, so we wound up in a bad neighborhood, late at night. Hotel is hard to get to, tub had moldy tiles & grout and the entire place reeked of cigarette smoke. Free breakfast was one pot of coffee, two cereals and a half dozen muffins.
