I stay at Embassy Suites each time I am in San Antonio. You see, I am in a long distance relationship and he reside in San Antonio. I always book the Embassy Suites because it is where we consummated our relationship over 12 years ago. After years apart we reconnected and it is definitely the only place that we want to be when I come to town. It is a lovely place with superb accommodations and we always enjoy our stay there.

I went with my daughter and her friend, they are 12. The breakfast was really good!! The hotel is good too! Our room wasn't ready until 7:30 pm. That was kind of a bummer. The cleanliness was ok - we had to call for more towel everyday because they didn't leave any or maybe 1. But, each time they delivered them promptly. I would return there if I was going with family. If it was romance, I would pick somewhere a little more plush. This is good for the money savings though.

The hotel was nice but small, the breakfast was great, has eggs, sausage, bacon, and orange juice and the drinks and snacks were good too. The only thing is that the hotel is far from downtown, so if your going to stay more on that side of town then its ok. Other than that everything was good.

Older, but clean and family friendly. Expect a fully occupied and, consequently, busy hotel. Complementary breakfast and happy hour are nice. Pool and spa were great for the kids. Easy access to IH-10 and Loop 410, which is very convenient for Fiesta Texas and Sea World tourists.

The suites met our exact needs, as I was traveling alone with our three small children. Hot, cooked breakfast every morning, snacks every afternoon, nice pool and hot tub, spacious, quiet room with a comfortable bed. The only thing I would have liked a bit better was a slightly larger refrigerator, but that's a tiny complaint compared to all the other benefits. We also ordered room service on a few occasions and were very pleased with the value for the price. The location was nicely centrally located also, at the convergence of I-10 and 410 on the northwest-central part of town. Once you found your way there once, it was no problem after that.

This was my first stay at an Embassy Suites and I was pleasantly surprised with the service and accommodations provided by this hotel. The 2 hour evening happy hour was great with popcorn and nachos to munch on as well as beer, wine, margaritas and other beverages to enjoy. On Saturday evening there was even a cooked to order pasta buffet at the restaurant in the hotel that was reasonably priced and very good. The morning cooked to order breakfast was better than most restaurants with eggs, omelets, pancakes, french toasts and much more. The hotel seemed very family friendly but also considerate to adults by offering adult only swim times. While the location was a bit awkward there was no issue finding it with a GPS and it is only about 15 minutes from downtown San Antonio. There were a variety of restaurants a short drive away. Overall a great experience.

The hotel is on the other side of town from the riverwalk so if you are looking to do things closer to that area it would be easier to stay down by the river. Taxi fare between there and the hotel runs about 20-25 dollars. The hotel does offer shuttle service from the airport and a 3 mile radius but that doesn't get you very far. Other than that its an excellent place and would recommend if you need to be in the North West Area of San Antonio.

... it was a bit aggravating having to deal with one of the two elevators on our side of hotel being out of service (one guest told me it has been out since at least June!) And even the other working elevator was unreliable. I ended up using the stairs a number of times going down because I didn't feel like waiting 2-3 minutes for the elevator. We also dined in the restaurant a couple of evenings and found the service to be extraordinarily slow. The wait staff was pleasant, but they must have been short-handed in the kitchen because there just weren't that many customers.

We even extended our stay by two days. The room was clean and comfortable. The suite layout could be better. You had to enter the main bedroom to use the restroom. Free breakfast provided a good variety of food. Open bar with snacks between 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. was nice. Two of the four elevators were under repair, which made for a long wait at times. We would recommend and stay at this hotel again
