Spent the New Years in suite, room was excellent and hotels overall service was quite good. Bit disappointed about the fact that WiFi was not free, cost 15 $/ day.

Although old and a bit run down, the hotel rooms were clean. The price is great and the location is great. We didn't spend much time in the hotel room anyways. I would definitely stay there again.

Conveniently near the airport in Las Vegas's East of The Strip neighborhood, La Quinta Inn & Suites Las Vegas Airport North Convention is close to Sands Expo Convention Center, Las Vegas Convention Center, and Clark County Library. "Enjoyable experience"
We stayed at the La Quinta because it had a heated pool and jacuzzi in November. We loved the pool, which added greatly to our Las Vegas trip. We had a rental car. The car was no problem to park. The rooms were clean. We had a problem with a noisy neighbor when we first checked in, but the front desk moved us promptly with no hassle. "The Laquinta"
The room was cozy however there weren't pillows on one bed. I saw two roaches in the room as well. For what I paid those nights I probably stayed at a strip property or another motel not so old...it's quiet, staff is friendly breakfast is AMAZING but it's a bit old and, the above noted issues....
"TRAVELERS BEWARE"
We got this hotel because everything on the strip was sold out or way too high due to events in town. It's about a mile off the strip. The hotel is older and the neighborhood made me a little nervous. The one good thing was the free shuttle service to and from the strip. This hotel would definately be on the bottom of my list for a return visit.

"Disappointment"
I was not happy to know that I was stick near rooms that had dogs. The tub was scratched up and had alot of marks in it. The carpet was not clean. The carpet had dark stains all over the room.
"It is what it is."
The room was good, the place was good BUT the Wi-Fi sucks - I could not get online for more then a few seconds. I also had to change room due to some strange noise coming out of a pipe in the wall. Avoid room 114 at the end of the hallway on the 1st floor.

"Good value"
If you are not looking for a "resort" hotel, then I would consider the La Quinta Inn. My room was fairly priced, neat and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast covered the basics, and was a nice option to start the day. Overall, a modest hotel that I would safely recommend to those looking for such.
"Security and comfort"
We needed a roll away bed which was brought to the room promptly,however, the bed left you feeling like you would have had a better rest sleeping on the floor. The mattress was poor at best and sagged in the center even with several pillows strategically placed beneath it. The entrance door accessing the hallway to our room two doors down had a sign […] saying it was locked 24 hrs a day, though at no time did we ever encounter that door locked which left us feeling vulnerable. "Our expeirence"
We stayed this past weekend and overall it was a good hotel. Free shuttle service and breakfast. I didnt really like the breakfast they offered. Not really what I expected. They said they had waffles and sausage. The waffles were make your own and there wasnt any sausage. It wasnt very roomy in the breakfast area either. The elevator was creepy and […] would shut on us as we walked in and took awhile to open. We used the shuttle service and the first night they told us it was 24 hour and to call anytime for a pickup. They picked us up and took up to Harrahs and when we were ready they picked us up right away. The next day we had to wait 30 mins for a pickup to go to the convention center and when we were ready they said it would be a hour for pickup but they took a hour and 45mins. "LaQuinta on Paradise St., in Las Vegas"
The Roll-a-way bed that was brought was very, very, painful and uncomfortale. there were two metal bars accross the bed that when one would sleep on the bed the metal bars would put painful pressure on the rib-cage and lower extremities. This really caused a lot of discomfort. other than that the hotel was fairly good.

"La Quinta Inn Airport North Paradise Rd Las Vegas"
Room was spacious and comfortable, nice Samsung Flat Screen TV. Pool and Spa area needed more maintenance as cement surfaces were crumbling and debris was transferred to the bottoms of your feet to the water in the pool and Spa. Complementary breakfast was mediocre with no variety of selection of items day to day
"Not good Service - OLD!"
The hotel was not good. We stayed there for 5 nights and on the first night, they did not clean our room. There was also no lotion or many shampoos in the bathroom. The breakfast room was very bad. It would be full every day and there would be no place to eat! The hotel looks very old and was old!

"Alright spot for a great price"
Out of my entire road trip to california, this tied as the best motel we stayed in. It was clean, it was nice, it was spacious, and the accomodations were just right.
"Hotel La Quinta in Las Vegas - close to the stripe"
The hotel was close to the stripe and easy to find from the hotel. Customer Service over the phone was not very nice.
"BED BUGS and SPIDERS!!!!!"
My friend and I found bed bugs and red spiders all over our pillows and under the sheets AFTER we woke up the following morning with multiple bites. I had 26 total bites and my friend had 38 bites all over our bodies. We complained and only got moved to a suite which we fully inspected before sleeping the 2nd night. They didn't even give us a free night […] or comp our stay. It is now day 3 leaving the hotel and my arms are swollen, hot to touch, and red...not to mention painful. Read more

"STaff was outstanding"
The staff was outstanding at La Quinta. Pleasant and helpful. The room was neat and clean. One problem, however, the light fixture fell off in the bathroom while we were there (from above the sink). Also the hair dryer was about to fall off the wall. VEry shaky. But all in all it was a fine place to stay.

Hotel staff was very friendly, quick check in process, the hotel was very quiet. Only down side-bed wasn't very comfortable. I plan on staying here again.
The entire property needs to be upgraded. Looks old and uninviting.
"So worth it"
All in all, a bargain stay in the Vegas area. Close to the convention center, and the hotel shuttle will get you to the strip and the airport. FREE Wifi, FREE breakfast, and FREE parking go a long way in this town. With clean rooms in good condition (although not excellent--there was a little wear and tear) I would totally stay here again. The front […] desk staff were incredibly accommodating--the one time I called the front desk and didn't get an answer, he rang me back three minutes later to ask if I needed anything. If you are desparate and need a clean hotel room this will get you buy but hotel itself is pretty run down and lots of unsavory characters around. Convenient location but didn't feel all that safe. Also difficult to get a cab.

Overall hotel was OK. Good deal because of free pets & large parking lot but you can get cheaper on the strip. Staff all very helpful & hotel was clean.
"Great room and staff"
This was a great hotel for the time we spent there. The breakfast was good too and more than I expected. The only drawback was our room was on a very busy street and it got noisy at times, with sirens and everything. All in all, it is a great hotel close to the strip without all the fuss.
"Great if you want to avoid casinos"
I chose this hotel based on its location and shuttle service to/from the airport and the convention center. However, I failed to check out the neighborhood. While there's an excellent restaurant across the street, there's no shopping or other good restaurant options within easy walking distance (especially if you've been on the convention center show […] floor all day!). I also found that the info about the shuttle's availability was inconsistent. One desk clerk would say just to call 5-10 min. before I needed a ride to the convention center, but when I did, I was told the shuttle was only running to the convention center once an hour. I ended up having to take a cab to make a meeting. I ran into the same problem when I had to go to the airport. The driver did make a special trip to take me there, though. I was pleasantly surprised that the room had a microwave and fridge, but w/o a car, I had no way to shop for any food. I'll stay at this hotel again, but I'll rent a car next time. Read more
"Wonderful motel for pets"
This is an excellent motel for people travelling with pets. It would also be great if you don;t have a pet. Beds were comfortable; breakfast very good; staff extremely helpful and friendly
"La Quinta - Close to the Las Vegas Strip"
The hotel was overall very nice with many extras that I wouldn't have expected for the reasonable price. Including a pool and hot tub and decent but above average fitness area. Breakfastg was above average wih some hot food. It really is pretty close to the strip as long as you can walk a few blocks.
"coordination between reception and shuttle staff"
Everything including check in, rooms and staff was good. The only problem was with the shuttle service. We used the shuttle service for airport and strip, and there was whatsoever no timing coordination between the shuttle drivers and the staff at check in counter. The staff told us that shuttle would be at the airport in 20 minutes, and when we reached […] at airport (on the 18th minute), the shuttle went right in front of us, and the reception staff said that the driver was waiting at the airport for 10 minutes, which was definitely not true. If shuttle was going to arrive there after 20 minutes, why was the driver waiting at the airport for 10 minutes?, next morning we had to go to the airport and we booked the shuttle for a certain time. When we reached in the hotel parking from our room, the driver had already left and didnt know that we had booked the shuttle.
