"Just OK, needs upgrading"
Old hotel, need upgrading of carpet and bathroon sink/tub. We stayed one night with our kids on our way to Grand Canyon. Liked the location and friendliness of the staffs. However, we were disappointed to see a pile of used towels and bed sheets on the hall way by the door of our room when we checked in. There were stains of a rubber mat on the tub […] and there were cracks on the sinks. The towels were not as white as I expect from a good hotel. The beds were nice and comfy. We stayed 2 nights. one just after landing and before heading for Zion National Park and one night at the end of the trip to see a show at Wynn. It was extremely convenient to both the airport (10min free shuttle) and the strip (Venetian, Wynn) - there is a free shuttle, but it'a a 10min walk - we came back that way. Not enough help at desk on check-in; kind of slow. The room seemed clean enough, but the hallways in the hotel seemed dirty. I've stayed at less costly hotels that were cleaner. It was helpful to have a computer in the business center we could use. Good location near Hughes center. We really appreciated the airport shuttle and booked here instead of […] nearby hotel for this and a little lower cost. The continental breakfast was okay - it was nice it had fresh fruit and yogurt. There were some good restaurants nearby. I'm glad there were no slot machines here. The place was full, some were noisy in the middle of the night waking us up. The price is great. The breakfast hours need to be extended! We went to breakfast at 9:20 and apparently it closed at 9:00am. Most La Quintas quit serving at 10:00. The rooms were fine, bed comfortable. Shower pressure could have been better, but bathroom size was good. Shuttle to the strip helped save on taxi fares. This hotel was a bad choice for my family. The beds were not comfortable. The TV did not work (the cable/satellite was never stable). The breakfast was not very good either. Also, for a family, i would not recommend this hotel. Since it is near the strip, questionable people were lingering and it did not feel safe overall as the elevator is outside!! "Lack of maintenance"
Rooms are great, received weak wi-fi and they would not move me to a closer room, asked for a closer room when I checked it... said no even when I explained to them I had a bad knee. Booked this place for last night of our 9 day vacation- arriving late in the evening after hiking all day, and leaving early next am to fly home- so thought an inexpensive hotel near the airport would work. It was horrible! Bedding looked old and very worn- as did everything in the room. Bathroom sink and tub were awful-needed repair or replacement […] and were filhty. hairs in the sink and tub. Beds were VERY hard- did not sleep at all. Felt very uncomortable staying there. It looks ok from the outside- but really bad on the inside. During my check in there a few problems with the way the booking agent booked my room. I asked for a specific room and the agent booked something else. The manager helped me get upgraded to a suite. "dirty dirty smelly hotel...."
Hotel dont look bad from the picture but it is my firat time in vegas .. I have a 5 yr old and a 7month old.. The rooms were nast carpets are dirty.. Tubs are dirty we had to take a shower with our beach shoes on.. As soon as we walked the room it smelled really really bad.. to top it off when we walked in there there was dogs everywere i hate them […] around me babies ... It was just really realy bad .. "NO BETTER THAN MOTEL 6!"
The hotel is ok, but VERY overpriced. It is in the same condition as a Motel 6 or similar room. You shouldn't pay more than a 2 Star rating for a room here. It is very dirty, the pool isn't nearly as nice as featured, the rooms are dark and musty. Hallways and elevator are filthy. The staff are very kind, but the hotel itself is just not nearly as nice […] and clean as presented. The WIFI was extremely slow and the whole hotel had a claustrophobic feel to it. "Disappointed Customer Service"
The hotel condition, room and location were satisfactory. We were only there for a few hours before our flight early morning. What disappointed me is the Front Desk staff. There was only one person in front of me who was being assisted by one of the two staff. I stood there waiting for the other gentleman to call me. This is 10pm at night. No one else […] was in the lobby or in front of me. The guy made me stood there for almost 5 mins (and he's not being busy or anything) to finally look up and call me over!!
