Loved staying here...what a gem of a hotel! The hotel manager hosted a tasting of wines from local vineyards. It was wonderful to mingle with the other hotel guests at this event. 2 Bedroom Suites are in adjoining building. While clean, in dire need of renovation: kitcen sink had horrendous stains - worst ever seen in a hotel; non-working hair dryer; standard fixtures falling off wall in bathroom, etc.

Overall everything was great. Just disappointed in breakfast and there entrance, as they were doing construction on the only main rode to entering the hotel. On the plus side location was great considering everything is on Granville pretty much.

My stay was 100% fantastic. Staff were all super nice and professional. They showed me where everything was and thanks to them manage to walk all over downtown Vancouver without getting lost once. I would for sure stay in this hotel again if I ever come to Vancouver.

Stayed for a weekend; customer service was great and directed us to the nightlife. Granville is just a block away where there's a strip of clubs and bars. Davie St is just up the street where you can enjoy the colorfulness of VanCity (if you are queer or allied). the concierge was info-less, bed was hard & not comfy, there was a fight in the ally way which our room faced from the neighbors who lived in the apartment complex, wifi was slow, jacuzzi didn't have the jet streams and they didn't even have complimentary breakfast for the price i paid for. would not stay again.

The hotel was in a very convenient location. Quick walk to ferry to go to Granville market. We easily walked all around downtown from the hotel. The room was way too small for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids) whereas other hotels where we stayed over the week were more spacious. My daughter was excited to go to the jacuzzi but found out that the water […] was not clean and only lukewarm. One of the best things was the free parking promotion we got through hotels.com whereas other hotels charge upwards of $20 per night for parking. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous but one of the staff members did not want to inconvenience himself to take us by the hotel shuttle to an event we were attending 4 blocks away. we traveled with some friends and their bathroom had blue waterproof tape holding much of the wallpaper in place along the tub, it leaked all over the floor- very unpleasant. there are no lights in the doorway upon entry or in the closet - so suitcases had to be placed on the table where we could actually see what was in them- closet was of NO USE at […] all. Concierge were not familiar with any restaurants outside the immediate neighborhood so no help at all from them when asking for brunch or restaurant suggestions. The hotel is located in a okay area. There are a lot of construction going on, but overall very much located in the center of downtown Vancouver. You can get around walking to all the cool neighborhoods such as Gastown and Chinatown. A taxicab will cost you around 10-15 if you dont' want to walk to those places. I booked the hotel at the last minute. It was cheap and not bad at all. The free parking is very enjoyable but the quality of the beds were disappointing. So I would recommend this hotel if you want something cheap for a couple of days while considering a good enough quality hotel.

I took a chance on making a reservation not knowing about the hotel or surrounding area. It turned out to be just a few blocks from the conference I was attending.
