What a nice surprise! Perfect location, helpful friendly staff and hotel very clean. You could not ask for more!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were up graded to a Condo! Great rooms. Air conditioning was not good and it was warm but we managed. Biggest draw back was you had to drive or get a taxi. I like to walk but this was a long walk to most things. Seattle had a better transit system than Vancouver.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fair accommodations VERY expensive parking"
The hotel was ok but we had a problem with the TV which we reported and a leak under the sink, neither we're fixed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good place to camp in Vancouver downtown!"

"Pre and Post Alaska cruise"
We booked this hotel for the day before and the day after an Alaska Inside Passage Cruise. The hotel was very nice, good location and the staff were all helpful and very friendly. We took a Big Bus (Hop on, Hop off) tour one day and the stop was next door to the hotel. We got a small discount from the hotel as well.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel with good location."
Had a very nice stay. Only complaint was air conditioner was way too loud and I was on the Granville St. side and traffic was noisy. Also my key entry stopped working twice and it was a real inconvenience to have to go to front desk to get it reactivated.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel with weird issues"
Tiny, hard double beds. Huge bath "with jets" but no way or instructions to turn them on. Shower curtain 1/2 the length of tub so floor and rest of bathroom wet whenever you took shower. Never any clean towels at hot tub after mid day. Light switches that did nothing. no listing for TV channels. Location was perfect. Was very safe area. Will hold bags […] for you in locked area with claim stubs so no worries of stolen luggage. Very very helpful coordinator to help you with getting around the city, discount tickets, tell you about attractions. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

It was not a great experience. Hotel lobby is small and old type. Nothing fancy about this place.Genuine Expedia guest review

nice wine tasting to start the evening. Parking somewhat expensive, Use meters close by.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was very good.and the staff was excellent.. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the wine reception at night. The restaurant was convenient and the waitress was excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to downtown."
The entire hotel experience was great. Will definitely want to stay at this hotel again in the future.Genuine Expedia guest review
The reason we booked this hotel was because it's near our friend's apartment. It's clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice too.Genuine Expedia guest review
Concierge could provide more suggestions on restaunt choicesGenuine Expedia guest review
We expected two beds in the room as requested. It may of not been Hotel's fault maybe a booking issue. The staff tried to correct, and finally did on the 2nd night. We would rate the hotel 3* as we did not get room requested, it was noisy and cramped accommodations. The 2nd night was a great improvement, and more of what we expected.Genuine Expedia guest review
Tucked away next to the Granville Street Bridge entrance on Howe Street, this hotel offers luxury at a very affordable price. It is much more visually pleasing than the Quality Inn next door. We were welcomed warmly upon every entry to the lobby. Our room was quite spacious and very comfortable. The construction behind the building did wake us early […] but besides that the stay was generally quiet. The layout of the rooms makes you feel like you have the place to yourself. Valle restaurant offered exceptional cuisine and a fair price. Service was great and the outside deck made for an enjoyable summer evening dinner for two. The patio option also offered a nice outside space away from the guestrooms for book reading or viewing the city from atop. Albert was exceptionally kind and offered top notch service every time we saw him. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay here and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling for business or pleasure. "It is a very pleasant stay"
Steve was very friendly and gave us helpful suggestions for where we should go during our short 3 day stay. My daughters asked me to give him good review so his boss may give him promotion.Genuine Expedia guest review
2 night stay. Nice view. We found room to be very small.. AC was on all day and all night. Too noisy. Chirs at the lobby was very nice. He provided us with tour guide options. Very nice and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review

I received some misleading info prior to our stay so needles to say my clients (4 rooms in all) & myself were not as happy as we should have been.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel. Questionable location"
The hotel is very nice but the location at the far end of Granville leaves something to be desired. You have to walk through some pretty nasty areas to get to Robeson and the part of town that is pleasant. It looks much closer on the map!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, ok hotel"
We had a very small room. Maids let themselves in one time without even knocking. They'd steal all of our towels and then take hours to replace them (I think that's just weird). The complimentary bikes were broken so we ended up paying $30 each for 4 hours on bikes. Hotel was a great location though!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Executive Vintage Hotel overnight stay"
Hotel has a good location, close to the Vancouver waterfront, stayed there only one night on way to catch the ferry at Horseshoe bay (which was only 20 minutes away). The room was nice except for the air conditioning (it was a warm day in the summer), staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the wine tasting of local wines in the lobby in the evening.Genuine Expedia guest review
This Hotel was located in the downtown area of Vancouver. We only stayed there for one night and it was a very pleasant experience. This hotel had air-conditioning and free wifi amenities. I did not have to be charged extra for the use of wifi. You also had to pay for parking in the garage and the price is reasonable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Location near Big Bus Tour Stop"
We stayed for three nights (didn't make it in time for the wine reception the first night :( but enjoyed the next two. Good local BC wines. We were able to walk to great restaurants on Davie street (three blocks) and also walked all the way downtown to Gastown (20 minutes at the most). The staff were very pleasant and most helpful when it came time […] to hold our luggage for a few hours after we checked out. The restaurant was very clean and well managed, servers excellent and the food very good, although we ate breakfasts only. The eggs and sausages were especially good, but there was no toast, just pastries, croissants, etc. Lots of fresh fruit. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Front desk staff was EXTREMELY friendly and very helpful. I will be recommending this hotel to all...would stay there again most definitely... Loved the location, it's across the city from gastown. "This hotel is old n inconvenience to places"
My family n I had bad experience with this hotel. The a/c doesn't work properly n bathroom door's lock doesn't lock. We had to stay in the hot room more than 1 hrs before they gave us a new room. And I had to complain 3 times to get a new room. I think this hotel is old n out of date. The T.V is old n small, plus there isn't too many program to watch. […] Also, the carpet is old n worn out. I don't think this hotel lift up to it name, "Executive Hotel". The stuffs in the frige is very expensive so is their restaurant. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good price, unique wine tasting in the afternoon"
I picked this hotel based on the price and the free breakfast that I got as a Expedia VIP. It was ok - the staff was really nice, it was walkable to Yaletown, internet was free. The breakfast was lacking - the "free" voucher got me a choice of 3 cereals, some fruit, and a couple pastries. I "upgraded" (meaning paid extra) for eggs/sausage/pancake option. […] This was worth it, but irritating to me since I thought I had a free breakfast. Parking was expensive at the hotel (no surprise, all hotels charge extra) and if you are not headed out of the city don't bother renting a car. The hotel room was small but had everything we needed. The fitness center was also really small and the hot tub was lukewarm. So I didn't think the advertised amenities were very good. I didn't get a chance to sample the wine tasting as we were out of the hotel at that hour each day exploring the city. But it is a unique extra at this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hidden hotel"
The Executive Hotel hides on a spur beside the beginning of a bridge, I drove around the block several times due to not reading the map correctly. But once you get there, you have good walking access to downtown Vancouver. Two blocks up is Davie St, which is lined with good eating options, especially as you get down to the bay. The front desk will also […] provide currency exchange, at least from US dollars, if you want the convenience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Kris the concierge was the best! We arrived early and he took care of our bags, gave us some ideas of places to go nearby and hooked us up with a tour of the city. When we returned at the end of the day he greeted us by name, asked about the restaurant he recommended, and quickly took our bags up. The room was comfortable, provided free bottled water, […] and had an amazingly luxurious tub (lovely bubbles came up from the bottom). Coffee make was a Keurig (always good) and I was able to buy more K-cups and creamer at the little nearby store to meet my extra coffee needs. Fridge was big, bathroom amenities were quite luxurious and the room itself was very quiet. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, lovely staff!"
All in all, it was a good hotel. Beware though, the photos online are a little deceiving. If you do not plan to be at the hotel, and simply visit for sleep - this is a perfect hotel. It's location is fantastic , conveniently located 3-5 minutes from Granville Island and no more than 10 minutes away from Canada Place / Gastown, etc. The only issue we […] had is that it seemed a little old and badly maintained. The bathroom looked very old and the curtains smelled like they hadn't been washed in a while. Aside from this, we had a fantastic experience. The staff was truly outstanding, very helpful in every aspect - great concierge. Also had a delicious wine tasting. If you're @ the hotel - go. If you're out - stay there.. It's very simple and nothing to rant about .. but it's a nice perk All in all, good experience. 4 stars for the fact that it looked a little old, our view wasn't the very best, and the fact that you had to pay a $27.00 parking fee. When you review a hotel on line, you never know if it will look the same in person. I'm happy to say the Executive Hotel look the same. Our view on the 5th floor wasn't the greatest. Although the staff were friendly, the location is terrible. The advertisement of a free shuttle was decieving because they will only accommodate a request if they are available. With the cost of taxis, we could have stayed at a nicer hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for Granville Island access but ..."
The Pros: great location for Granville Island. 3 block walk to water taxi. $5 round trip adult fare. They had a complimentary wine and snack hour. Rooms are generously sized as the hotel is a bit older. Despite being a bit outdated, the rooms were VERY clean and not dusty like in some other older hotels. THE CONS: restaurant is in transition and it […] shows in the food. I did not have breakfast so I can not comment on that. There was a charge for $3.30 for alcohol tax on our dinner that the front desk couldn't explain. We did not have any booze. They had the accountant look into it but was going to take some time so I just paid it and hope for layer refund on my card. Also, the charged me a 5% exchange rate to use US dollars when everyone else was accepting at par. Just felt nickeled and dimed. Lastly, location is close to Yaletown but is near a seedier side of Granville. Still felt safe. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"HOT, HOT, HOT"
Our room was suppose to be the BEST room in the hotel. Ceiling to floor windows. When the air conditioning stopped working and the room became very hot, the nighttime bell hop was sent up to fix the problem! The A/C was not fixed and a fan was bought to put in our room. The hotel manager was never seen. I went to the front desk SEVERAL times and was […] told he was either not there yet or out in the hotel. Our daughter got sick because of the heat and when we went to embark on our cruise the next day, we were not allowed to get on the ship because she had thrown up!!!! NIGHTMARE!!!! The only redeeming quality of the hotel is the daytime bell hop. He was awesome!!! He arranged for diner the night we arrived (calling the restaurant and letting them know we were on our way), gave us free breakfast at the hotel, and took us to the port with great details of the area. We will be back next time in Vancouver. We loved the location, easy to get around to everything we wanted to see..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was just blocks from waterfront and from shopping. It was located near the main highway so there was a little noise from highway but really wasn't a big deal. You spend most of your time seeing the city. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was always serviced soon after you needed it serviced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location for us. We walked everywhere. Staff was very helpful with any questions that we had. Would definitely return again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not as nice as it seems"
For a four star hotel, I wasn't super impressed. The room was clean, but the bed and pillows weren't particularly comfortable. It gives you a great view of Vancouver, but unfortunately I was right above an onramp, so it was pretty noisy. It's also kind of far away from the Skytrain, probably a 10 minute walk to Yaletown-Roundhouse or Van Cty Cntr/Granville […] Stations. On the other hand, it's right near Davie St, which has a ton of places to eat. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
