We stayed here for 4 nights for our son's graduation from Lackland AFB. It is a great location just minutes from the base, places to eat, and just minutes from downtown San Antonio. This is a great place to stay for the occassion.

We arrived and waited in the lobby in line for what seemed like an eternity while the ONE person that was working attempted to take care of each customer checking in at a time. She managed to anger about half of the people she was waiting on with her lack of knowledge about what she could and couldn't do. Once we got checked in she gave us our room key cards and we drove around to the rooms. One card worked, the other didn't. It seems she was trying to put us in a room that was already occupied with sleeping customers. I went back to the lobby to retrieve a key card for another room which now is not close to the one room we have successfully entered. No apologies, no nothing just hands me another key and says "see if this one works". The rooms were musty and damp feeling. I was concerned that there may be mold issues. We were told to keep showers short because of water rationing. The bathtub looked filthy and I scrubbed it out before allowing my kids to use it. We were going to use the swimming pool but decided not to when we got there and there was a very large man wearing not much of anything staring my daughter and I up and down. I felt very uncomfortable around him. By the time we left the next morning for our day long venture at Sea World, I was exhausted and frustrated because of our experience at the hotel. I would not recommend anyone staying there. If I had to do it over again I would have stayed someplace further away just to avoid what we dealt with.

We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to Seaworld. We were very disappointed. The room was was not clean, nor comfortable. The room smelled old and mildewy. There was mildew in the shower and on the shower curtains. Not a good experience.

After a long day in the sea world is good to have a bed near by.....it was clean, I called because the remote control didn't work and very fast they gave a good one.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel especially the kids. It was very convenient (it's near Sea World), very clean, the service staff was courteous, and the breakfast was just right. We got it at a great price at the last minute and we are so thankful that it was worth it!

The hotel room wasn't too bad. They never did service the room though. Never made the bed, vacuumed, replaced towels, etc. I was very disappointed in that. Other than that, it was fairly clean. One drawback was that we were on the 3rd floor and the elevator wasn't working. It was a challenge to carry all of our luggage, softball gear, ice chests, etc. up 2 flights of stairs.

all was well in this hotel, we had no issues with the room. the fact that the serving staff was completely rude to me and my family was unacceptable and we had to complain to the manager. the ladies wanted us to clean the counters after we got something from the breakfeast bar and would make rude remarks. we complained to the manager and she assured it would be taken care of. i still would not stay at this particular hotel again because it made my family rather uncomfortable.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in room number 210 and paid $109 + tax per night. The moment we entered the room there was this weird smell. My kids could not stand it and actually made me spray my perfume in the room which did not help. Soon we realised that the smell was due to water soaking in the carpet from AC.It never went away in 2 days. Talking about the bathrooms, I have never seen such dirty hotel bathrooms in my life. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and tub was all black. I know that economy is tough on us and we are scratching and saving money for our family vacations. Please do not waste your hard earned money on this hotel. They really do not deserve it. If I had not paid for the room before checking in, I would have cancelled my reservation and checked in another better hotel.

The hotel was at a good location how ever upon checking in had to wait for someone to come to the desk. The room was nice, comfy and clean but the best part was that it was already cold for us =) no remote for the tv thogh =( I enjoyed the free wifi, breakfast was decent.... only one thing even thogh the signs of no liability are posted in the parking lot two cars were broken into over night wich we saw the next morning, but that can happen anywhere. overall it was a good stay over priced I'd say by 10.00.

We checked into the hotel, the receptionist was not pleasant. She asked if we wanted a non-smoking room. I said yes, but we were given a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. Another gentleman at the desk relocated us. The hotel is right in front of a football stadium...not a good idea on Friday nights. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay.

Facility is a bit old specially bathroom but kept clean & organize. You have to play with the bathroom light switches on/off in order to turn the lavatory light. A/C was running at max when we got in and was extremely cold, we have to sleep all night without A/C even do we are used to a temp beetween 78-75F. Our baby girl got a small cold next day when we left the hotel. Other than that it was an average hotel, ok for the cost.

Maid service was not good, in fact had to ask for clean towels at 6pm since rood was never made up. The mattress pad was a twin size and kept going to the side. The bottom sheet was stretched out and kept coming off the corners. Very uncomfortable.

We picked La Quinta based on it was a higher priced hotel and we had stayed at several of it's chain hotels and had very good experiences. This hotel was not what we expected. The room was tiny and the bath tub was dirty to say the least. The bedsheets were clean but the blankets looks grungy. The door looked like someone had tried to force their way into the room and some point and it was never fixed. I was scared to say the least. We slept with a chair against the door and lucky for me my husband has the right to carry so that placed me at ease a bit. The kids went to the pool and the water was very cloudy and did not look clean at all. Next time we will pick another place or see the room first.

This hotel was great for the price. The only thing was the bathroom was a little outdated. Other than that it is great to stay at to visit Seaworld and San Antonio in general.

1st night we had to call for towels. Delivered quickly. Could improve flow of breakfast crowd. Clearer traffic control there. Daughter's room smelled of smoke. Preferred non-smoking room. Staff was very nice. Thank you.

This room was very expensive for the quality. The hotel was very outdated. I stayed here because I needed a room with a crib, refrigerator, microwave and close to seaworld. The distance to Seaworld was not what they said it was (they just use the name Seaworld to charge more), their idea of a microwave was to use the one in the lobby (which was in a different building far away from my room), no refrigerator and their idea of a crib is an old and dirty playpin with holes. TV quality was not good at all. I know not all La Quinta Inn's are the same but I was so dissapointed that I will never stay at another La Quinta Inn Again.

if newly renovated, I'd hate to see what it looked like before. toilet had to be flushed several times for paper to go down, ran a long time. cable tv came in terribly, pay movies never worked. solicitaion for local pizza place knocked on door every night between 8 and 9 pm. front desk never returned my call about movies not working. the list goes on and on. if you want to cut cost on vacation by going with cheaper hotel, don't. at least not at this establishment.

For the price, the physical hotel accomodation were appropriate. However, their customer service was lacking. Beginning with the check in process where rep was robotic and seemed to care less about receiving my business, to getting to the room and finding that 1 light bulb was not working and 1 lamp didn't even have the light bulb in it. When I called the front desk to request new bulbs, the phone rang 30 times before I just hung up. By that time I had to leave for a meeting so I did not call again. I will not stay at this hotel again.

this hotel allows dogs in rooms. There was a dog in the room next to us alone and barked for several hours. We moved to another room and our room wasn't cleaned the next day because two maids quit. Very unhappy with the hotel and staff

Although my room was quite clean, that was the only thing this motel had going for it. The toilet ran for about 10 minutes after flushing, the water in the shower flowed out of the lower faucet and the shower head at the same time causing the tub to fill up (of course the water did not drain and I ended up standing in a tub full of soapy water), the clock in the room was broken and half the stations on the TV came in very dark. I wrote up my complaints and gave it to the front desk lady when I was checking out and I'm pretty sure it got filed in circular file, if you know what I mean...

Hotel was being remodeled with some places still having wet paint. Should warn customers before hand. Also, needs to have longer breakfast, my daughters went @9:45am, everything was already put up.
