"Over booked. Caught behind Mary Kay convention."
Not great. Rooms Ok but front desk a disaster. Took an hour to check in, even though left car for four hours when attendant told me no rooms yet. Liked the shower and bed was comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Lots of Positives"
Pros: This hotel is in a convenient location. The beds were awesome! Cons: The hot water was non-existant after 7:00 AM (guess everyone was showering at that time!). And the pillows are horrible. They need to offer a variety of softness instead of soft, softer, and super soft.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The experience was good, overl staff were very pleasant, and eager to be helpful. However. I was disappointed in the bedding, because the top sheet had a RED Stain, dried in! It is hard to believe that the staff did not notice it, since the stain was at the top, where the sheet folded back. Possibly dried finger polish. . . I did not expect this at […] the Sheraton Hotel.. . . Quality bedding is important. . . Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice place. Arrived at 245 said room was not ready. I figured they would have had something since check-in is at 3. Lady at the desk was very helpful anr apologeticGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The room and ba wasn't clean. We found a cockroach"
We don't like the way the hostel administration work With the costumer.. The night rate was very expensive.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was a great location for inner harber and camden yards, but because we paid for the hotel through expedia they wanted to give us to full beds instead of a queen or king. The staff were not very accommadating.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Baltimore September 28, 2013"
To begin with, Valet is mandatory if you want to park at the hotel. I was told by the valet attendant that it was $25, but we were welcome to park in a public garage for $20. I settled for valet service. After settling into our room, we decided to go for something to eat. When we returned to our room, we could not get our room key to work. Perhaps our […] check-in clerk was not focused on our check-in because she was discussing personal business at the same time to one of her co-workers. Bellhop took 15 minutes to show up to let us in our room. Air conditioner despite being set to 66 degrees would ran the entire night and barely cooled the room. Water pressure was low for a shower and there was hair in the drain. Our stay was not all negative, the staff were polite and helpful. Which made our stay more tolerable. What added insult to injury was that I was charged $50 for parking and our stay was less than 24 hours! I understand that our vehicle was parked part of one day and part of another. Seems to me that if this is done to every guest, you can get double pay for parking. Needless to say I did not feel the need to tip since we paid for the parking and no one went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I booked the hotel as a surprise for my husband. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and I was taking him to a baseball game that same evening. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel nice and clean. They even send a bottle of champagne to our room! I have been in the hotel business a very long time and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. […] I would say the rooms need a little TLC, but it is an older hotel and the cleanliness far outweighs everything as far as I am concerned. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We reserved a room with two full size beds. Upon arrival we were told that only a room with a king size bed and they brought in a cot which left no space to walk around the room. The grout in the shower was also somewhat dirty.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Sheraton always consitent"
You always know what to expect when you go to a Sheraton, excellent, clean, professional properties. Our room and our stay was great. My only knock was with their parking. Where my car was parked, there was somethiing in their parking garage that was dripping on the roof of my car. It made a mess of my car, caused a rust stain on the roof that had to […] be removed with rubbing compound and on top of that had an awful smell that took days to go away. "Most Horrible Hotel Experience EVER"
I am so not a picky person but my recent stay at this hotel was hands down aweful. The customer service was a joke, the rooms were not clean what so ever and the lac of communication was disgraceful. I will never stay at this hotel or refer anyone to stay at this hotell EVER again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"The name speaks for itself"
I stayed at Sheraton even if it was a few miles away from the convention center because of my previous experiences with the hotels all over the world. I travel around the world and Sheraton never failed to deliver. My flight came in at 7am and even if the check in time is not until 2 pm, they let me checked in as soon as I got in the hotel, with free […] lemonade and cookies. Sine my flight was a red eye, I wasn't able to sleep, so as soon as I checked in I went to my room with a view and was able to get a few hours sleep before going to the convention at noon. The bed and bedding are very luxurious as usual that it feels like being pampered for a change. The room and hotel is very clean, even got free drinking water, coffee, tea or hot chocolate in my room everyday. Also to my surprise, they have a free limo shuttle to John Hopkin's if you ever have a conference there. Drop off and pick up is scheduled every hour. The driver, Mohamed even gave me his personal cellphone to call him as soon as I am done with my conference so that I don't have to wait. What a treat that was. Instead of getting a taxi to the airport, the same driver took me to the airport at my convenience, for the same fee as the taxi of course. But what a convenience it is and a pleasant stay. The rooms are the typical inner city small spaces, however the bathroom was very dated..no bath tubs. The hallways were freezing at all times! The staff was not very knowledgeable about local amenities and the restaurant/bar in the hotel closed at 12 midnight and we got in late and were unable to eat. Very disappointing for a Sheraton hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Needs serious maintenance! Beds are nice though."
The bed was wonderful. The parking situation is horrible. The valet parking is WAY over priced and the self pay lot is across a busy road and underground. There are several homeless shelters on the block so at night it isn't a great place to be outside. The Staff was all VERY nice and helpful. My room was very small and the hot water in the sink didn't […] work at all. The shower head was broken so the water drizzled out and I couldn't get the soap out of my hair. The ice machine was broken on my floor and the other floor I tried. Did I mention the bed was very comfortable? Overall the stay wasn't horrible but the hotel needs some maintenance. Stayed one night and enjoyed it. Staff very helpful and professional. Easy to walk to inner harbor area.Genuine Expedia guest review
Overall hotel was nice, only one restaurant. The gift shop didn't accept the credit voucher's from the hotel and this hotel is blocks away from the inner harbor and has no view of the harbor. Sheraton placed two hotels in a half mile of each other, would have booked the inner harbor Sheraton if I knew there were two in downtown Baltimore .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent location Dirty room"
Room was very dirty and is in dire need of a facelift. The elevators in the South Tower were very worn and had soda spills. The staff was Ok. I usually don't send in reviews, but the room had cigarette butts on the floor. RalphGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good bargain close to the Convention Center"
Found it the cheapest of all of the close hotels close to the harbor. The size of the room was really small. Also, they said it was a King bed and it was only a Queen. Gift shop is also really expensive. Payed $5 for two bottles of water.Genuine Expedia guest review

Located in downtown Baltimore and walking distance to Convention Center and area attractions. Pool is closed after Labor Day. Allowed us to check in early. Pros: Affordable, nice looking hotel from the inside, comfy rooms. Not crowded. Very clean. Incredibly comfy beds. Fridge, microwave and lots of other amenities in room. "I ❤ Baltimore."
A really nice place to stay for service, facility and especially staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The woman in the restaurant for breakfast (she was Vietnamese) was exceptional. The Concierge and front desk staff were amazing. Our room was wonderful! Thank you! A great stay! Would definitely return.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel visit would have been fine but all the staff seemd clueless. The were generally morose and didn't look like they were enjoying their jobs. simple questions and requests took ages and no-one seemed to know the answers despite multiple phone calling around (ie Can we eat in the outdoor pool lounge/table area? Answ: No).Genuine Expedia guest review
Only had the room for a nite preceding the Baltimore GP. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The room was spotless, the staff friendly and helpful, easy in easy out with valet parking. would def repeat.Genuine Expedia guest review
We weren't disappointed with our hotel, but we also weren't thrilled. The service was good, but overall, nothing spectacular. We found our room wasn't cleaned thoroughly when we got there. A quick call to the front desk and staff was understanding and immediately moved us to another room, and gave us free wifi to make up for the mishap...to bad we didn't […] use it. "Nice hotel, but not what I expected for a Sheraton"
The hotel was nice and the staff was great. There was free WiFi in the lobby but in order to get it in our rooms we would have to pay for it. "Hotel conveniently located and ok price."
Very disappointed that i couldn't get the king size bed i expected. room was tiny and only one chair for 2 people. Felt misled by process. What is the point of reserving a room when you don't end up with it anyway? Bellman/conceirge was awesome and helpful and upbeat. Nice decor overall. Would consider going again if offered better accommodations.Genuine Expedia guest review
The staff was polite and engaging. our room was overlooking the main downtown street so it was noisy at night. We enjoyed the gym and pool which were complimentary but the morning to go coffee was $2.65 and parking was expensive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I expected at all..."
From the time we pulled up in front of the hotel and were told we must valet park in order to unload our luggage there or park in the underground garage across the street and carry it from there to the hotel before checking in. It was a bad experience. You have to cross a very busy Fayette Ave. which had a crosswalk clearly marked with signs stating […] that state law required all vehicles to stop for pedestrian traffic. To the contrary, the cars flew by with no regard for your safety. While checking in, the hotel clerk offered us a daily hotel credit for food and room service if we chose the "Green Clean" offer where our room wasn't cleaned by the maid. We decided to take them up on it and had planned to use the 3 night credit for the final morning's breakfast at the hotel. After 2 mornings with no service, we were told we had not signed up for the offer. The front desk couldn't keep up with it but the maids somehow knew not to clean our room... The whole check out process was a mess as the clerk said the computer showed our room vacant for the last night we stayed there. It took 2 clerks 15 min to get that part cleared up. We waited the entire time for a receipt only to be told since we used hotels.com, we didn't get one.. A huge waste of time! The cost of parking in the underground lot was the most I have ever paid in Baltimore by far... Internet access was at a cost for a 4 hour session for in room Wi-Fi. I would not recommend this particular hotel to anyone... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Sheraton - Downtown is a Business Class Hotel"
We stayed at the Sheraton as it was convenient to both the Convention Center and Camden Yards which are both about 4 - 5 blocks from the hotel. The property is being renovated which is a good thing as it probably dates from the 1980's and needs the restoration. The rooms are average size and comfortable but the property in general needs to be upgraded. […] The downtown neighborhood is typical for a metro downtown whereby you need to be careful where you walk after dark. However the METRO stop is nearby and that will give you access to almost anywhere you want to go. The better restaurants are not near the hotel so if you want to go to Little Italy or Greektown, you'll need totake a cab. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Hotel location was convenient to attractions, although if you wandered off a bit you could end up in an area that was not so nice. Lots of businesses around were closed sad to see. The Hotels.com listing is pretty deceiving. Our room was nothing like the images portrayed it to be. It was my second time in this hotel, two years ago I went to Baltimore for a conference and I only use the hotel to sleep, but last week I went with my kids for vacations and was a very nice experience...The pool was not working the day we arrived but the other Sheraton hotel pool was offered... "It was okay"
We booked a room with a king sized bed but when we arrived we were told we could have a room with 2 double beds. The man at the counter seemed annoyed that we were not checking in earlier and basically told us we had no options. He was not friendly by any means and made us feel stupid for checking in late. He also told us that we were late and therefore […] had to take one of the remaining rooms available or go elsewhere. I paid for a room with a King sized bed in advance but received a very small, cramped room with a full bed. I am not one to complain; as a matter of fact I love staying in hotels and have no problem paying for the service. However this particular experience was nothing like my previous experiences with other Sheraton Hotels and due to that, I am disappointed. The young man working the front desk late at night made us feel like idiots. He also told us that we checked in too late even though I paid the standard rate for the room many hours earlier. He had no desire to accommodate us, and as another person who works in customer service, I was negatively surprised by his inability to please PAYING customers. This was a very nice hotel, better than I expected, however I paid more so that I would have a pool to use and when I was staying it was not open.
