Quick check in and out. Clerk was nice. Room was clean and quiet. Only negative was breakfast. Some bagels were moldy. I second guessed getting any bread item after that. At least the coffee was hot.

This hotel was the worst hotel we ever stayed at. We stayed 2 nights and both nights we where woke up by people in the rooms above us by them tring to stomp threw the floor. This went for hours at 2 and 3 am when I was there for work and couldn't get any sleep. That is just to start the bathrooms where nasty as well. The hotel is right next to I10 and any room that faces the road is very loud. I didn't get any sleep because of the traffic noise. I was traveling solo with two older dogs - so asked for a room on the 1st floor. The only one available according to the front desk was facing the road. However, at 9 pm when walking the dogs on the small grass area on the […] other side of the hotel facing away from I10 - there were just 4 cars. The front desk offered me a room on the 2nd floor at the rear of the hotel - and in hindsight I should have taken it and just dealt with walking up and down the stairs. I was hoping I could turn the fan on low and just have it run to provide ambient noise - but no - didn't work on low - and on high just came on for a few minutes then would turn off. The hotel is very old and certainly not up to La Quinta standards. Carpet had not been properly vacuumed. Several reviewers described dirty rooms. My room was clean except for the carpet - but the tile, grout and paint all need to be updated. The walls look dirty because they need paint. I had been driving all day and was hoping to catch the news - but NBC, CBS and ABC were not working. When I called the front desk they explained that six stations were out. They were still out the next morning. The positive - dogs are free. Many hotels charge $10-$25 per night per dog or even a $50 cleaning fee. So, not having to pay extra for the dogs was one reason I selected this hotel. Read more

I really liked the location. The service was good. The employees were nice. I liked the idea of complimentary breakfast, however more variety could be considered (I did find everything delicious though). One last thing, parking. There wasn't a lot of parking. Once I had to park about 40 yards away.

When we arrived at our room, everything was clean and nice. The person at the desk was very pleasant. The only complaint that we have is with the heating system. We had to catch a flight early in the morning and went to bed at 10:00 PM, as we had to leave at 4 AM. The heater kept making these clanking noises, which prevented us from sleeping.

Hotel wasn't bad overall. Could use an update. The door to our room was difficult to open. Could be a problem if you needed to get out in a hurry. Beds were comfortable. Could probably stay at a better place for about the same price.

It's El Paso, so I wouldn't expect incredible luxury or glamor or anything. This place fit the bill. I'm rating this La Quinta relative to other La Quinta Inns I've stayed at recently, and there are many, because they are generally clean, comfortable, and they allow dogs. Great for long road trips. This one in particular was just a little on the grungy […] side...again...fit the area. The pool looked run down and less than inviting (moot point since it was November). The room was standard, clean, and comfortable, but the bathroom felt a little grungy and needed some remodeling. As usual, check-in was a breeze, and it was an easy drive to lots of decent places to ear and not far from downtown. And, the price is pretty darn good. Recommended if you're on the road with dogs. This hotel is dirty. Between the 3 rooms we had, the carpets were dirty and stained, the shower curtain had mold, and one room was completely covered in cat hair. There was cat hair in the bed, all over the sheets, and all over the counter in the bathroom. The noise from the nearby highway was loud as well. This hotel is terrible.

At check-in the clerk saw I was next but let someone else go ahead of me. When I asked him why, he said he thought those two people were together. I told him that was not the case, the second person drove up after I was already waiting to check in. The TV remote volumn control did not work, I asked the front desk for another remote, they said they would […] send maintenance to the room to fix the remote. I was there two days, maintenance never showed. The coffee maker was missing the basket to put the coffee packet in. The toilet rocked and rolled and was very slow to refill the tank. I was satisfied with the hotel but not with Hotels.com When I arrived, I was told that the cheaper room through Hotels.com did NOT include a fridge and microwave as was promised by hotels.com. I was to be in town for SEVERAL days. I was told that a room with these included already would have been only $5.00 more or I could ADD them to my reserved room […] for $7.00 more (both per day) The room I chose had the fridge already in it and I paid the $5.00 per day upcharge instead of adding $7.00 per day. Also,I asked for a NON- Highway facing room and BOTH rooms would have been on the Highway side of the hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The mini fridge in my room was only working half the time, seeing as how I bought foods to save on eating out this was very disappointing. This hotel really needs some maintenance. Location is really good because it is close to a Shopping center, banks and the freeway. The carpet is very dirty, the bathroom needs remodeling. I was promised a roll a way bed then when we checked in I was told that "we do not carry roll aways at all in the hotel" I asked reserved a non-smoking room, well the room reeked like cigarette smoke. Only 8 minutes away from Zaragoza Int'l Bridge, we booked while family handled business in Juarez. Breakfast included packaged bagels, waffles, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice, milk.
