My wife and I are traveling across Scandanavia and this stop in Copenhagen was wonderful. The hotel is what Americans should expect as the standard for a lower cost hotel solution with a smaller room and not a lot of frills. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower (which is larger than many comparable hotel shower areas), and the hotel was clean and orderly. The breakfast was great as well and included, as was free wifi, both of which are difficult to come by in much of Europe. The location was great with a short walk to Nyhaven and superb food as well as many of the other delights Copenhagen has to offer. Recommended hotel at a great value.

An interesting hotel in a great location. Just don't expect luxurious rooms and you'll be satisfied with the experience. In most US cities, other than NYC, this hotel would be regarded a 3 star. The art in the reception area is a nice touch but doesn't add much to the experience. If you want to enjoy art instead get out of the lobby and walk to Glyptoteket or Statens museum for kunst...

I have stayed at this hotel many times, but they never have my room ready until check-in time, regardless of time of arrival. But each and everytime they offer me a room in a higher category for immediate occupancy for a surcharge of DKK 150 (abt $27). Enoying!

It was a great stay but the neighbourhood is a bit scary. The staff were excellent! Room was a bit small and sheets were just strange...plastic fitted sheet was NOT fun to sleep on.

Chambre bien équipée (frigo, coffre fort...), calme (côté cour pour la nôtre), bonne isolation, jolie décoration. Mais il n'y a pas de climatisation : en été c'est peut-être un problème si l'on doit ouvrir la fenêtre pour rafraîchir. Dans un hôtel de ce standing, on peut regretter aussi qu'il n'y ait ni bouilloire ni machine à café dans la chambre. […] La couette était trop chaude même en coupant le chauffage (en avril), et nous avons dû ouvrir la fenêtre pour ne pas avoir trop chaud pendant la nuit. Notre chambre double était assez grande, mais un ami avec nous avait, lui, une chambre pour une personne vraiment petite et sans frigo. Le quartier ne nous a pas posé de problème (on est proche d'un quartier "chaud" avec strip-teases, prostitution) et on est à quelques minutes de la gare. Read more

Perfekte Lage von der aus man die ganze Stadt zu Fuss erkunden kann. Die Zimmer sind recht klein aber sehr fein, sehr modernes Design im ganzen Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - und durchaus unterhaltsam! Tolles Fruehstueck!
