Everything was good except breakfast. It was a disaster. There were no plates, no silverware, no coffee ( which I asked for and eventually got plates and silverware but never got coffee) and very limited food. "leisure vs frustration"
If you have children and think that this hotel would follow Hyatt hotels standards you are sadly mistaken. There are no vending machines however if you and your little ones would rather bakery type items this is your hotel. If you want a "continental breakfast" that consist of processed "breakfast sandwiches" and cold cereal then this is also the hotel […] for you. If you would like to spend Christmas Eve at 1:30 in the morning at a laundromat across town in an area you are not familiar with, this hotel is for you because even though we were there for 8 nights, there were no laundry facilities at this hotel. We were not told this either. And if a hot and stuffy humid room is your thing than you have found your home!! After explaining this entire stay to a "Hyatt Complaint Customer Service " person she continued to insult me by offering a 150 dollar "gift card" to use for Hyatt services. Don't want a " gift card"!! I never will stay at the Hyatt again!! Oh, did I forget the part that I never asked for any compensation??? I have stayed in numerous Hyatt Place hotels from Albuquerque to Nashville. I consider them one of my favorite hotels! However, this one is an exception. The only bad parts were the $36.00 a day parking and the $28.00 breakfast per person that you only find out about from the valet driver and the waitress in the morning. When we checked in, we were given the key to a room that had already been occupied. I'd read on the website that there would be a dvd player in the room and there was not.
