"Rooms comfortable but hotel public premises smokey"
The stay was acceptable, however upon arrival at midnight the wait line to check-in was approximately 45 minutes because of inaddequate quantity of staff available. The room was just fine and bed was comfortable but be prepared for a smoke filled lobby and casino area. Other casinios seemed to not be as bad.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Did not Appreciate Hotel Fee"
Hotel was nothing special. Internet fee a big rip off. Could not get service the entire stay!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed there during a business convention. A pleasant surprise for the price - not fancy but excellent service, quality food (buffet was surprisingly fresh and tasty!) and spotless rooms. Only negative - as in virtually all Vegas hotels - was the cigarette smoke in the public areas such as casinos.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Harrah's is great, and the front desk staff, in particular, is superb!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a room with view on the strip"
Upgraded for a room view of the strip. Wasn't really a view of the strip it was blocked by the buildings in front of Harrahs and I saw more of the roof top and air conditioner units from the building in front. I won't pay for an upgrade there again if I end up going back. Room was very small, it was okay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A fantastic stay!"
I was very skeptical about staying at Harrah's because the price was so reasonable. I figured the room would be old and run down. It was quite the opposite. We stayed in Room 770 in the Mardi Gras Tower. Although it was a small room( meaning that it only had 1 Queen bed) it was fantastic. It was at the end of a very long hallway, and was a corner room. […] Out our window, we actually had a view of the strip. The room was completely updated, with a beautiful armoire and a very nice bathroom. I would like to highly recommend staying at Harrah's Las Vegas. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Safe in the room didn't work when we got there so had to call front desk 3 times, took well over an hour for someone to come. We were told it would be 20 mins each time. Be prepared for the resort fee and if you check in before 4PM it is $28 or you can upgrade your room for an additional charge a night then you can check in early. They seem to find […] a way to get more money either way. The casino has old games, is a bit dreary. Would not stay here again, but it was nice that you walk out the door and can cross the street right to The Mirage. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location. Great price. But room was LOUD...."
First off, room was loud. Right over the club. We asked for a quieter room, but they could not accommodate us. The check in process took more than 1 hour. LONG LINE TO CHECK IN. After a long day of travel just to get to the hotel, that is the last thing I wanted. Hotel was pretty run down. Stains on carpets, etc. Also, they were nit-picky about charging […] for every little thing. A fridge in the room costed an extra $20 a day, blah blah blah. The guy at the fitness room gave me a hardtime even though I had paid the resort fee. And the worst thing about that room was the THIN WALLS. I could hear the people in the adjoining room making awful sounds. Just awful. Bottom line--- you get what you pay for. This hotel was inexpensive, and in a great location. But I would not stay there again. I would pay more money to stay somewhere where I didn't have to listen to my neighbors all night long. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Stayed 3 nights in Mardi Gras Tower"
Location is excellent and gambling was fun on the tables. Ro was only average and we paid $15 a night upgrade for a pillow top bed and a 2 glass coffee maker. Carpet was dirty and was told this was newly remodeled room. $2 clock and $10 coffee maker with 1 bag of coffee is not an upgrade. Only in room a few hours a day thankfully.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pretty Good Stay"
The stay was pretty good. We checked in, and then called housekeeping to get the couch bed put together for my son, and left the room for dinner. When we returned the bed was not made, just had the sheets placed on the couch. I called housekeeping to have someone come back up to make the bed, and it took them 30 minutes for someone to come to our door. […] Besides that, it was pretty good, but we only slept there one night - so we didn't need too much. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Confused Hotel Staff"
I would not stklay at Harrahs again.. the staff was not very friendly. We went to our room and did not have Wifi. I called the desk and they said that they would be glad to move us to a room that had Wifi. They asked me if I had paid my resort fee. I told them that I had. I had already unpacked my suitcase so had to pack my clothes . We went down o […] the lobby and I told he gentleman behind the desk what the woman over the phn told me about switching to a WIFI room. H told me that I was mistaken as they didnt ave WIFI in any of their rooms. I told him I was not mistaken as this is wht I was told. He said the woman was mistaken. So we aid fr a resort fee, where there was no WIFI, pool not available. Our friends , who stayed at the same hotel, told s that they had WIFI in their room. Rooms were nice size but the casino was filled with too much smoke. Would not recommend staying there if you are sensitive to smoke. Cafe there was expensive with wrinkle service. Very unfriendly employees. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Check in took an hour/hotel has NO WIFI"
This (hopefully) will go down as one of the worst hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. It started with check in where it took four desk clerks nearly an hour to check in the 8-10 guests that were ahead of us. Once we get into our room we opened the window to discover a fabulous view of 70's style cooling units. A constant alarm was sounding from a room […] a few doors away. A woman was standing in the door way and said she didn't know what had caused the alarm but called the front desk more than an hour ago and no one had come. I tried to call the front desk regarding the fact that I couldn't find any WIFI network to link into, but after a call every five minutes or so for a half hour, the best I did was a busy signal. When we went to explore Vegas, we noticed a concierge who was on his own. So, we asked him about internet and he said, they don't have it. I left this place feeling like they have plans to tear it down. It's near loads of dynamic places, but just makes you feel dirty and sad. There is an $18 charge for "resort services" which is confusing as there was nothing at this hotel resembling service. POSITIVE: The black out curtains closed all the way and were free of holes. "Excellent, will stay here again!"
We stayed at Harrahs two nights during the week and both nights they upgraded us to amazing suites on the 34th floor. They did this free if charge! The staff was very pleasant and the rooms were immaculate. 5 star rating from me.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bad service and extra fees"
This was by far the worse hotel I have ever stayed at on the Las Vegas strip, tv didn't work they charged a resort fee. The service was terribleGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was clean and functional. Somewhat dated but the people were very cheerful and helpful. No wireless. Need Ethernet connection. Resort fee is not prominent, as with most hotels there now. Great location and a fine value at the price we paid.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is great, The check in and out NEEDS SOME work, 1.25hr to check in and almost as long to check out. Hidden fee until you check out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Harrah's Hotel and Casino Las Vegas"
We were there for a 5 day program, we checked in 4 days early and stated 1 extra night. The first evening we ate in the hotel buffet, the hot food was cold and the cold food was room temperature. We had finished eating before they finally served our drinks. We spoke with 3 servers and it still took them 45 minutes to bring 3 cups of coffee and a glass […] of ice tea! Asked for the manager and we did get a refund. We had our room 9 days and had to put a couple of notes on the bed asking that our sheets be changed. I guess in as hotel/casino you are going to have drunks running up and down the hallways having food fights at 3 a.m. However the food wasn't always cleaned up the next day. Great location right across the street from the Mirage and next to the Ventian. I would defiantly stay here again. Toby Keith's bar inside was great! Awesome happy hour from 4-7 with 2 for 1 drinks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was in a good location since I was seeing a show at the Mirage which was across the street. The extra charge for resort fees was frusterating. "Terrible experience if you have pets with you"
It's Harrah's on the strip....it's a nice hotel and can be fun if that's your trip. However, my wife and I stayed for just 1 night with our 2 mini Schnauzers. They charge a $75 pet fee on top of a $25 resort fee. That came out to more than the cost of our room, which I think is absolutely ridiculous. Couple that w/ the fact that the check-in process […] takes anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Overall this was a terrible experience for us and we will not be staying at a Harrah's again. Harrah's is a good choice as it is centrally located and rooms are comfortable. But watch out for daily "resort fee' -- you will probably not use any of the amenities and it adds considerably to the room rate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Upgraded to the 35th floor"
I originally reserved a room with 2 queen beds because it was cheapest but I only needed 1 bed. They upgraded me to the 35th floor to a room with a huge bathroom with a Jacuzzi and a california king bed. The only problems were that they had a hidden fee of $18 plus tax which was a "resort fee". And I didn't even have wifi...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Monorail, shopping and other casinos"
Not a bad stay and location, with the exception of the never-ending plethora of card slappers selling women out front of the hotel. Harrah's should clean that up as other classier hotel/casinos have done. A plus that it is located on the monorail stop.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location is everything."
Title says it all here. Probably best location in Vegas. Nobody spends much time in the room and this place is right in the middle of it all. "Didnt expect 5star hotel but this place was a joke"
Front desk staff was not friendly charged additional fees even though our room was prepaid, keys didn't work when we got to the room, staff said they were sending security to let us in but when we called to check on eta 30 minutes later we found out no one was on the way. Internet didn't work in the room even though they tried to charge us for it as […] part of some mandatory resort fee no one at front desk knew how to troubleshoot or tell us who could help. AC ran on cold and we could not keep room over 65 degrees so we froze through the night. Not recommended at all. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Horrible Check-in service; okay place to sleep"
I rented this room because I had a late flight, and I just needed somewhere to sleep/shower and relax before my departure. I arrived at 5 p.m. to check in, and there were at least 50 people in line and only three terminals open. When it was my time to advance to the counter, one of the agents walked away, "It's my break," she said, leaving two people […] to service the now nearly 80 people waiting in line. I work for a hotel, and to have two people working at "prime time" is ridiculous! No sense of service at all. I used the room for what I needed and left. If you need a room mid-strip, and you don't care about service or any frills, then this hotel will do. The adage, "You get what you pay for," truly applies here. I wanted to extend my stay at the hotel for one more night, and was told by the front desk employee it would cost $400+ more for the extra night, which is totally outrageous when I can book another night online for 1/6 of the price!!
