The hotel was great, the location, and service also. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel, but we ate dinner twice and it was very very good, they had a buffet and the food was very high end not thrown together. It was close to musems, shopping, and great little coffee places. My husband and I would definetly stay here again.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and well located. I enjoyed being just steps away from the markets in the city of Mainz as well as located on the Rhine river. I also enjoyed the convenience of a short taxi ride to the train station with service into Frankfurt.

AC,are not comfterbull it's more like a wall fan then an AC unit the temperature of the room was at times so uncomfortable that sleeping was impossible. The Hilton was a fine hotel, and by "fine", I mean it had the basic hotel amenities you would expect. There is nothing exceptional about the hotel other than the price of everything. Phone calls, Internet, food and drink are insanely priced, and the front desk staff are not helpful or overly friendly. It was rainy and cool, so we asked the front desk […] what there is to do in Mainz when it's raining, and were told "nothing", so we wandered around in the rain. No laundry is done on weekends, which might be expected of a smaller hotel, but a huge international chain? The housekeeping staff, on the other hand, were very friendly. The location is convenient for the KD Rhine ferry (but not for the train station) and the central location is good for most sight-seeing (if its sunny and warm, I guess?). Beds were not as comfortable as in lesser-priced hotel chains and the shower didn't drain properly. If we had paid even half of what they report as their normal rate, we would have been extremely displeased, but even for the rate we paid, we were not impressed. Read more

Hotel was clean and rooms were decent size. Two of my friends had trouble with their phones working in a foreign country and the receptionist was really helpful. Would have no hesitation in staying in the hotel again if I go back to Mainz.

Excellent location on the Rhine river in the city of Mainz. We were in a room with king size bed with the river view. Breakfast was included in our room rate and every morning we were spoilt for choice of their massive buffet. We didn't feel rushed to get breakfast either as they served it from 6:30am until 11:00am. Our room was nicely decorated and kept clean every day. We had tea and coffee available on a tray and if we desired something from the mini bar it was well stocked with choices of liquors, sweets and snacks. I was attending a convention at the Convention Centre connected to the hotel so the location was perfect for that, but also very close to shops, restaurants, etc. in town. Professional staff, nice room, great view, great breakfast. Had a top floor room overlooking the Rhine. It was fabulous, perhaps not as warm and welcoming as some of the smaller independent type hotels I stayed in through Germany, but exactly what you'd expect from one of the larger international chains.

We had a problem with the availability of parking for one of our nights that we stayed. There was a group celebrating a birthday at the hotel and took quite a few parking spots. When we had arrived in the evening after sightseeing all day, we were faced without a parking spot. We had to park outside on the round-about in front of the hotel, until the […] party people had left. The clerk at the desk informed us that the parking garage that is connected to the hotel is not part of their hotel. When booked the hotel, wrong information given. We were informed it is only 21 km away from the hotel. Actualy it is about 40. When check with the front desk we were told thay cannot do nothing about it and told us you are luckey got rooms today since city is busy due to World Book Fair. It is not our problem. Angenehmer Aufenthalt. Professioneller Service. Der äussere Eindruck täuscht, wirkt almodisch, jedoch die Zimmer sind modern renoviert. Ausstattung als üblicher Standard bei 4Sterne Hotels. Die Lage direkt am Rhein ist super, wenn ich auch nicht das Glück hatte, eine Zimmer mit Rheinblick zu erhalten.

Hilton Mainz er et super lækkert hotel. Værelser og rengøring er i top. Hotellet ligger dejligt ned til Rhinen og meget centralt med butikker og restauranter i gå-afstand. Kan varmt anbefales.

O.k.,leider waren im Zimmer zunächst die meisten Utensilien nur für 1 Person vorhanden, wurden aber auf Nachfrage gebracht. Den gewünschten Blick zum Rhein konnten wir leider auch nicht bekommen und der Tiefgaragenplatz für 24 Stunden war recht teuer mit 21,- €.

Im großen und ganzen war das Zimmer sehr schön und sauber. Das einzige was zu bemängeln idt war der Zustand der Badewanne/Dusche. Die Armaturen waren veraltet und die Fugen der Fliesen waren teilweise ausgebrochen bzw. Porös. Das Personal war zwar sehr nett, jedoch fehlte es an entsprechender Erklärung bzgl. Minibar. Das Hotel ist nur zu empfehlen! Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Innenstadt ist in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und es ist unmittelbar am Rheinufer. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei Infos über die Stadt Mainz. War hier zu einer Tagung. Über hotels.de war der Preis für dieses Hotel besser als über das Tagungskontingent und außerdem gab es auch noch ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung. Der Aufenthalt war komfortabel und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut!

Hilton Mainz ligt direct aan de Rijn. Leuk om even te wandelen. Entree is groot en verzorgd. Receptie personeel is vriendelijk en attent. Kamers zijn verzorgd ingericht. Badkamer is niet modern maar oogt wel nieuw. Bedden zijn comfortabel. Bar in Hotel is klein. Ontbijt is uitgebreid en smakelijk.
