If you're staying in Mainz with the goal of access to the Rhine (and Old Town), the Hilton has a great location.

The parking, internet access and breakfast buffet are expensive. Also the hotel was under renovations and elevators did not always work.

Room was located across the street in another building, away from the main lobby. The hallways smelled musty and the room A/C provided little cooling during the warm summer days. The breakfast buffet was expensive and there is an extra charge for internet service.

Very happy with this hotel. A really nice hotel with a beautiful lobby. The room was larger than I expected and a nice size for a NYC hotel room. The hotel is situated in a great spot in that it's very centrally located to a lot of major mid-town destinations. Shopping is close by, though the restaurant selection in the immediate couple of blocks is mediocre. Look forward to staying here again.
