The hotel is very nice we stayed there twice a total of over a week. But both times the room was so small despite the second stay we had an "upgrade" yet the room was basically the same. The food was not cheap but was not good either. Expect to pay $40 for breakfast and I had shell in my eggs. There are some great breakfast places around town where you can get a good meal. Room serice sometimes came cold.

We found a fantastic deal (buy 1 night get 1 free) & we were excited about staying at the Hilton in Sydney. The service was fantastic & the staff were always willing to go that extra step to ensure we were happy. The reception area was always buzzing - but - there were enough staff / managers floating around if you needed to ask a quick question. The breakfast was just delicious, despite a hangover, we made the most of the variety of juices / cooked breaksfast / fruits / pastries etc etc All in all it was the best way to spend our last nights in Australia & we will definately be back when we return next year!

Special thanks to all the staff who attended us in Hilton Sydney. My daughter and I had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. The location is excellent - close to Town Hall train station and the Monorail station as well. To us who do not drive, this is marvelous. We went to the Royal Easter Show and transportation was not a problem at all. The fitness centre and their equipment was magnificent. Consider the money that I paid for this five star service and environment, I highly recommended it to all other travelers. I flew to Melbourne after my 4 nights in Hilton Sydney and I needed to pay even more for less satisfactory service in a four star hotel near Southern Cross station.

We were up in our upgraded room with a fantastic view of the city within minutes. The room was immaculate and the bed was the most comfortable we had been in. The location was directly across from the Queen Victoria Building and a convienent bus stop was 1/2 block away for sightseeing. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We would absolutely stay there again.

All in all, not a bad hotel, but there were two things that really bothered me about out stay. 1. The mini-bar hadn't been dusted in a long time. All the food (chips, wine etc.) clearly hadn't been touched and I really don't want to eat something that's covered in a layer of dust - who knows how long it's been sitting there. 2. We asked the Concierge several questions about the location of certain things in Sydney (movie theatre, where to get food on a Sunday evening). He was less than pleasant and less than helpful. We managed to find these things on our own after walking around the city for some time.

We weren't sure if we got a disabled room, but the design of the bathroom was such that there was a shower "area" moreso than a shower "stall". When taking a shower, the entire bathroom flooded... we had commented the night before that we had never seen tile in the entryway before, and after showering, we figured it was to prevent the rug getting wet. Otherwise the hotel room was nice but a bit small and concierge service was very helpful.

As the location of this hotel is good , the hotel it self is not. Hilton hotel rooms are way too small if you want to stay for your vacations. It is Ok if you on business trip or transit but for a longer stay the rooms are way too small as well the bathrooms having a glass walls is not a good idea. Also the Executive Lounge is not up to the 4 star hotel, the Lounge is busier then the hotel cafe , long lines for breakfast, or the evening drinks, first time I've seen a sign at the executive lounge- Please wait to be seated! Better off going to the restaurants in town - you get more for your money then what you paid for the Lounge use. Also the hotel management should think of having a electronic card entrance to the Lounge, right now anybody can come from the street.I do not recommend this hotel for stay more than 2 days stay.

Fant en bra pris på internet, hadde kostet dobbelt om det var i Norge. Også ligger det midt i smørøyet. Kan kun gi skryt her :)
