very nice motel,room was clean and comfortable.only complaint was that it had a stale odor in our room. just went to the maids cart and got the frebreeze. great breakfast

This was a good choice for our needs, to be close to the center of the city. The hotel is due for a little renovating but it was very clean and comfortable.... The round rooms with the wedge for the bathroom were interesting and unique. The lobby and restuirant were neat, clean and very attractive. The breakfast was typical for the basic complimentary breakfast. The only problem is, there isn't much within easy walking distance but there are several resturants within a 4 or 5 block area. I enjoyed it very much....although we had a few problems at the beginning of our stay, they were handled well and we were given a discount which was appreciated. I used to live in the area years ago and remember when the hotel was built into Quaker Square and this was the first time I stayed there. Needs a little updating but it is lovely still!

As a preservationist, I was really excited about staying in rehabbed grain silos. The experience left a bit to be desired, though. I understood that the hotel was also a dorm, but at some times the students were overwhelming. Also, the wifi was down all over campus - including in the hotel. Simply stated, this hotel needs a massive overhaul. Everything from the thermostat to the cardboard-tasting eggs were sub-par. Add to that the elitist attitude I received from the desk clerk at check-in and the restaurant staff loudly gossiping about co-workers, there was little about this hotel that I would recommend to anyone. The place was clean, But we were very disapointed in the hotel itself. It is not as nice as it is advertised. There are no shops that were ocupied by tenents so there is no shoping there. Very much over priced. I would stay there again if the price was around $60.00.

This was a quiet time to visit. With the hotel being owned by the University of Akron and we stayed during the beginning of the Christmas break, it was very quiet, and you could walk into any store or restuarant without wait. Room was excellent. Did not like the view of the parking lot but I was not there to look at the view but was on a business trip […] so as long as there was light coming in, it was fine with me. The only positive thing I can say about my stay is that the hotel is 2 blocks from the Civic Theatre. The beds in my room were old and worn out and the front desk staff would rather be left alone.

One of the most interesting hotels ever! A pleasure to rome the inside and outside and enjoy a museum at the same time! Staff was helpful and friendly,free breakfast was all we needed for a healthy start, very clean room and a quiet nights sleep. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend The Quaker Square Inn to others.

The front desk was of little assistance. All the facilities in the "square"were closed.......no restaurant or ice cream shop........only the free breakfast was open......coffee was worse I have ever had....couldnt drink it and breakfast was sub par. It is a shame........fun historic building that is completely run down and should be a 2 star.
