Check in process was a problem but quickly sorted. Room cleanliness: found bobby pin on the floor and a lighter in the pull out couch. Could have been cleaner. This hotel is very dated, but in a central location. The pool was filthy and not heated. The staff was great. The continental breakfast was very good. It's centrally located on the boardwalk, but very poorly maintained. Wouldn't stay here again.

We liked this hotel very much, Our room and I think all or most of the rooms had a great view of the ocean. The breakfast was good and the location of the breakfast room was nice because you could sit where you could view the ocean while eating breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again.

The only grips I have with the hotel is that the rooms are old. Not outdated just old. The cover for our bathroom light fell down in the middle of the night. Nothing major but it freaked my wife out. Service was great, and the breakfast was a real breakfast and not some cold ceral and a bagel deal. Though they did offer that.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are comfy. My boyfriend loved the view from the balcony and the pool was a great size! We went down to the restaurant and got to listen to a live band and enjoy some of the best crab dip and drinks. I'll definitely stay again.

This older but well kept facility is very pleasant and attractive. The staff were nice and very helpful. We had problems with the room safe and slow bathtub drainage, but these issues were addressed promptly. The room was nicely decorated, spacious and well-equipped with very comfortable furniture. My only complaint with the room is due to the design […] of the building, which someone must have thought looked good on paper but does not work well in real life. It's a horseshoe shape encircling the pool and it is kind of neat looking from the outside, but the views from the oceanfront balcony were restricted. If they hadn't been, we would have been able to make out the surfing championships to the South and I would not have had to run outside in my nightie to see the surprise fireworks to the North. Also, we had to stuff the ends of the curtains behind the sofa to make what view we had visible from anywhere but right in front of the door and to let in natural light. The only other thing we didn't care for was the breakfast buffet. The food was OK, not something to write home to Grandma about, but the space gets crowded if you don't get there early and has a horrible traffic pattern and limited seating. This is not such a problem for us since we have certain places we like to go for breakfast, but could be an issue for others. I have to say we probably won't go back, but only because of the limited view of the oceanfront which we go there for in the first place. Read more
