The Chancellor Hotel - Fayetteville

I loved the Chancellor Hotel!! Me and my husband stayed there the night we got married last weekend. We live here in Fayetteville but the room and the view made us feel like we were out of town. The beds were super comfortable and the room was so nice. We will stay here again just to get a break from reality!

Modern. Clean. close to downtown and University. Great lobby bar, very inviting and comfortable. Nice, diverse menu selection in bar and restaurant. HUGE rooms, EXTREMELY comfortable beds. Tasteful decor. A GREAT EXPERIENCE!

This hotel is in its four incarnation with new owners. Disappointingly, for a hotel remodeled within the last two years, it is woefully deficient in electric outlets in the room. Every business travel has to be assumed to have a computer and a cell phone to charge. You can't sit in bed and work on your computer if it has to be plugged in.

We got this place since we were hosting a reception on Dickson st and wanted to stay close enough to walk. We ended up driving, but several friends walked and said it was quite nice. Stayed here to go to a concert at George's Majestic Lounge. It was very conveniently located and the hotel itself is stylishly designed. It has a very clean, modern feel. The staff was friendly. The king bed was reasonably comfortable. From the 14 floor, the view of the city was quite nice. Just a few small things to be aware of: The AC unit makes a […] loud clicking noise when it turns on and off. In the morning, I was able to hear the person above us walking around fairly loudly. Be sure to unload large luggage by the front door as the parking (which is free) is a short walk away. The mini-fridge is nicely hidden in a cabinet under the TV. DOnt expect the front desk to help and god forbid if you eat there. We ordered yogurt, egg whites and cereal. About 15 people in the restaurant. 20 minutes to get the food, then it wasnyt all there and they never brought the rest. We had to get someone to assist us in getting the bill. The issues are fairly minor but there. This was my second stay since their remodel. The tv reception problem still remains from November of '12 as well as the rooms being on the noisy side. The side door from the parking area was still not functioning correctly and on a cold windy day the lobby, lounge and restaurant were qiuite cold due to the wind […] lowing through every time a door opened. The restaurant is very good but apparently has not caught on with locals. It's empty at night and breakfast was being served in the lounge. The pillows were all large and hard, more variety would be nice. The location is fantastic, the hotel clean, modern and friendly. Besides a couple check-in glitches (sent to wrong room), I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Very comfortable room, nice bar area with espresso machine near the lobby, and within walking distance of many eating and drinking establishments.

We were in town for a basketball game and wanted to stay close to Dixon Street. The Chancellor was the perfect location - had the weather been a little warmer we could have walked to Dixon! Hotel was recently renovated. Rooms were wonderful, nice and clean with a decent size bathroom. Amenities were excellent with a nice work out facility. Location was great, 2 blocks from the main square and right next to campus. Staff was friendly and building was well managed! Definitely will stay here again!

This location is very convenient to the University and the lovely Christmas lights at Dickson square, but that also makes things loud and hard to get in/out of the hotel sometimes because of surrounding traffic.

The newly remodeled hotel is quite nice. Clean modern design from the lobby to the rooms. The Union restaurant is excellent, the lobby bar beautiful. It's the only high rise downtown hotel in Fayetteville right off the downtown square and 2 blocks from Dixon Street. The rooms are nice, again fresh modern decor. The Chancellor is a beautiful hotel in a great location in Fayetteville. The problem is unless you are traveling with the people in the room adjoining yours you have no privacy. The walls are thin and the doors connecting rooms are not sealed in any way so even conversations at normal volumes can be heard by your neighbor. The doors to the halls also […] have gaps, especially at the bottom and you can hear everything that goes on in the hall as well. This was my second time to stay at the Chancellor since it opened in September. We have gotten really good rates both times but that doesn't make up for the noise. I wish I loved the hotel because we have a few more years to travel to Fayetteville while our daughter is at the U of A. This hotel is recently remodeled, and has a modern, european design esthetic. The walls are still a little thin, but the quality of the facility is perhaps the best in NWA, and the location is walkable to Dickson street and the UofA campus. This is now my go-to hotel for visits to Fayetteville.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Would liked to have stayed one more night, but when reservation made a month ago no rooms were available. We definitely will stay at your hotel again, if we ever come to Fayetteville.
