"could have been great, but nothing worked in my room"

I recently stayed at the Parsippany Hilton because my High School held its reunion there, and I was coming from out of town. The hotel is very classy and elegant, and my room was very nicely appointed. The bed was excellent. However neither the TV nor the thermostat worked. I wasn't concerned about the TV because I knew I wouldn't be in the room hardly at all. The thermostat issue went unnoticed until I came back and wanted to sleep. The room seemed hot and there was nothing I could do to make the temperature change. Thus I had a terrible night of sleep. I could have called, but that would have probably represented an hour of sitting up while they tried to fix it, and its unlikely they could have been fixed it anyway at midnight on a friday night. So buyer beware -- if you decide to stay there, I recommend immediately checking everything in the room to assure it works.

"Nice Hotel"

Good hotel. Clean rooms, comfy bed. Some hall noise at like 3 a.m. but was probably an unruly guest not hotel staff. Relatively easy to get to, GPS got confused here and there but hey, not even a GPS can get your through Jersey. Nice hotel.

Overall the hotel stay was pretty good. The room was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and it was in a nice part of town. My only complaint was that we had to ask for clean towels after the first day.

The service was excellent. We had a problem with our room and they were very happy to move us to a new room. The staff was professional and courteous. We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton.

I drove all the way up to visit a relative in the hospital... was expecting a typical quiet hotel stay. Did not expect an OBAMA-like rally scene mixed with some really loud and bad rap music with bottles of Hennesey everywhere. 700 Hundred people in this group flooded the hallways and main entrance area. I really wish I had been warned. I want my money back!!!

"Awful Breakfast Buffet"

The breakfast buffet on Sunday morning was awful. The fruit was bad, and the hot items looked like they had been out for quite a while. When we did complain to the manager, he did comp the bill which would have been $70 for a family of 5.

we got to our room. and the Air conditioning barely worked i had the temperature set at 60 degreees and it was a steaming 74 degreees all night even with the AC pumping for 10 plus hours. the tv channels didnt even come in clear. it took room service 3 times to get our order right. and when they finally did the food was ice cold. the tv was older then me and was unable to plug in any kind of gaming console or dvd player. the view from every window in the hotel sucks. no continental breakfast. the only thing that was decent was the weight room but still wouldnt jump for joy over it. i have stayed in many different hotels in parsippany and morris plains area. and would by far rate this hotel to be the worst. LOOK ELSE WHERE!!!!!

"Had to change rooms"

When we got into our room the battery in the fire alarm was low and the alarm was beeping loudly. The front desk wanted to send up maintenance and I had to convince them to just change our room and send up room keys to a close room nearby. The second room had a perfume smell and wasn't as clean as the first room. The rooms were recently renovated and were quote nice, and the bed was comfortable.
