"Overrated and overpriced for the quality of room."
over priced and overrated. Bathrooms dirty and ceiling coming apart. Front desk unhelpful obtaining a first aid kit or sewing kit. We Will never stay here again. Tried to charge twice $27 for parking overnight. Worst experience at a hotel in a ling time. Wont use a hotel search engine again for help getting a room and will contact hotels directly from […] now on. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Amenities, but in-room WIFI should be free"
Enjoyed my stay in the Hilton Portland Executive Tower. Free printing and WIFI in the business center is very convenient, but I was disappointed that in-room WIFI was not included in the $200+ room rate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear Mary, Thank you for your feedback from your stay. It is always nice to hear that the business center is convenient and accommodating for our guests needs. I understand your frustration with the in-room Wi-Fi not being included in the room rate, but we are competitive with the surrounding hotels in the downtown area in charging a fee. We do offer complimentary Wi-Fi in our lobby and restaurant areas of both of our towers. Thank you for your patronage and we look forward to welcoming you back.
"Excellent Customer Service; Clean and Spacious Rms"
comfortable beds and pillows. Free printing and wifi in the business center! Only one complaint, at $200/night wifi should be free in the rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Okay but there are better options"
Room was very tiny and wasn't comfortable. We put a room service note on our door late and night and didn't receive breakfast at our door in the morning when it said if it was out there by 2:00AM we would still receive room service in the morning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear Briana, Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience at the hotel. I am sorry to hear that you were less than impressed with the size of our rooms. With our main hotel being an older building, most of our rooms are on the smaller side. We do offer rooms which are about thirty percent larger in our executive tower diagonally across the street. I also apologize for the breakfast not being available to you even though you took the time to have your request pre-ordered. I will be sure to share your feedback with our team so we can work together to improve our guest expectations. We hope you will give us another try to change the impression you have of our hotel and we look forward to welcoming you back.
Simple and standard business hotel. No surprises.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Executive Tower did not have Jacuzzi as it was described on hotels information . I called to complained about it they moved us to main building and room was half size of Executive Tower and girl was very rude she told me we cant build a big room for youGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear Emil, Thank you for staying with us and thank you for taking the time to inform us of your experience. I apologize for the way you were treated by the front desk staff and I will definitely speak with my agents about the interaction and the poor service you encountered. Being downtown and having two buildings can definitely be an inconvenience to our guests. As a whole, your feedback will help us to better inform our patrons of the differences and what amenities are offered in each tower. I hope we will be able to welcome you back to our hotel and to show you that we truly are the best 'home away from home' option. Warm regards, Kahuanani Kaimimoku-de Best Front Office Manager
"Words can hardly describe how awful this place is!"
DON'T STAY HERE unless you want to experience one of the worst hotels in the city. I stayed here unfortunately for 3 nights. This was possibly the absolute WORST HOTEL I've ever stayed in. Not only was my room and closet was so dusty that I couldn't hang up clothes. You can't get room service before 6:30 am which doesn't work well for East Coast travelers […] who are up at 4, then you pay almost $50 for a breakfast!!! I'm in Portland 2 times a month for work, and thought I'd try out the Hilton as it's next to my office building and with the hopes that I'd get some coffee before 6 am - but none of that was true. The 2nd day, I complained that my room had not been cleaned (breakfast food still out 14 hours later and no made bed), and the night manager offered to "comp" my night and my food, which was fine until I received my bill upon check out and had the $50 still charged for the breakfast. I left him repeated messages over the last 3 weeks, and he still hasn't called me back (again, indicative of the level of service to expect). PS: After flying cross-country, getting in at 12 am in the rain, the night man at check-in desk "upgraded" me to their "executive suites" across the street. I didn't have my glasses and couldn't see the building in the rain and practically had to beg the night man to show me where to go - he refused initially, because he couldn't step away from the desk! This inflexibility and poor customer service set the stage for the rest of this horrific stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear Alexandra, Thank you for taking the time to communicate your dissatisfaction in your recent visit to our hotel. Although it is not news we would like to hear, it is needed and appreciated as that is the only way we know what we need to do to reach our goal of exceeding the expectations of our guests every time. I apologize for the inconveniences you faced, and I look forward to a future opportunity to deliver a level of performance you have every right to expect from us. We look forward to welcoming you back to the beautiful City of Portland.
"Overpriced for the great location"
It was cold in the hotel. The king size bed was so hard that hurt my back. No free wifi. Overall, my experience wasnt worth the money i paid.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"FYI no Wifi"
Overall it was a good stay. However, wifi was not included. We satyed on the 17th floor in the building across the street from the main reception desk where we checked in. We turned off the heat/air system and still could hear noise within the vents. So if your a sensitive sleeper bring your ear plugs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear A Verified Traveller, Thank you very much for staying with us and thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm very sorry to hear the heat/air system was loud during the evening hours. When there are issues, there is always someone able to assist. I look forward to having you back again sometime soon.
Nice old hotel with large rooms. Bathroom was adequate, but small.service was very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good location central to it all. 2.00 for water left in the room and havinv to pay for internet was a turnoff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"no mini fridg"
$250 a night and I couldn't even get a mini fridg! so stupid to have a spot for one and not have one at that rate! Apparently they have one or two they move from room to room as neededGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear Kent, Thank you for staying with us and thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our apologies for being unable to provide you with a refrigerator during your stay. Unfortunately due to the limited number we are not always able to accommodate each guest . As this is becoming a popular request, it is a matter we are looking into regarding this particular amenity. Thank you once again and we look forward to welcoming you back the next time you are in Portland.
"Not disappointed at all"
All hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was small but met our needs. Very clean and comfortable. Nice hotels in downtown Portland are pricey, this hotel was the best deal we could find and we weren't disappointed. The first night we arrived after midnight and used valet parking, but for the rest of the trip we self parked in the […] hotel lot which made it pretty convenient to come and go. "Hilton not friendly to Hotel.com bookings."
On a group reservation with four rooms and everyone had some issue with the hotel staff. And they didn't seem to care because we booked through Hotels.com. Watch out for bed bugs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Needs an uplift"
The bathroom tile and grout could use a face-lift. With this, it made the bathroom appear grungy. The beds and chairs were very comfortable. The room was nice and clean. We were surprised to not have a newspaper with the room. The bellhop/parking attendants were very nice. Can't say the same for the check-in/check-out attendant. Not very friendly. "Above and beyond"
We had a great stay with Hilton. We had decided to spend our wedding night there. The front desk attendant noticed our cake we had brought and congratulated us. After checking in and putting our bags in the room, we decided to go have a few drinks in the lounge. Mia, the bartender was absolutely wonderful. Great service and very courteous, when she […] found we were just married she treated us to a glass of champagne and gave us a card for free dessert. When we returned to our room, we were surprised to find a bottle of champagne, flutes and a tray of strawberries and chocolate along with a congratulations card from the front desk attendant. Well, I felt tricked by the advertising on the booking website. No jet tub, old phones and cheap amenitites, the room was not worth the money spent on it. I wont stay at the Hilton again in Portland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"In town for a Wedding"
Everyone I encountered on the staff was friendly and personable and went out of their way to meet our needs. The Hotel itself was beautiful. My only real problem was the size of the room as the only options were 1 king or 2 doubles...one of my boys ended up having to sleep on the floor with his camping mat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay was wonderful. The room was nice and clean and the service was exceptional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The service was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When booking through Hotels, I asked for twin queens and free wifi. The hotel stated that they didn't even have queen beds in any of the rooms. They threw in the wifi due to the inconvenience but it would not have been free otherwise. Asides from this, the rooms were nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Came to Portland for a friend's wedding & a soccer game. Great hotel--clean, beautiful view from the 22nd floor, nicely decorated rooms, and fantastic location (to most things in Portland, the BoltBus from Seattle, public transportation, etc....). I would absolutely stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great downtown location"
My son and I wanted to stay downtown and have a hotel with a great pool, location to shopping and restaurants. This covered all of those.Genuine Expedia guest review
We spent one night. It was very close to shopping and activities. Room was good other than toilet was loose and moved. Fees and taxes increased the bill substantially.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
No parking lot. No wifi. Everything is bad. Price too high. PS. Check your credit card before you leaving hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
I booked a room at this location thinking it would be a great experience. Unfortunately the service of the Valet and the gentleman checking me into my room left a lot to be desired. Even upon checkout, I mentioned my experience, and a different gentleman was not very sympathetic. Most of the employees seemed to want to get me out of their way. "Good for business and sightseeing alike"
I spent a good deal of time in the hotel for a conference and was satisfied with my stay. The room service was quick and decent, the room was very comfortable, and the conference location was about as good as any other. In my spare time, I was also able to walk to a ton of restaurants and sites. Although I didn't catch the light rail in town, it ran […] right in front of the hotel. "How much did I pay for this?? Not a deal..."
We were excited to be coming to Portland for a nearby wedding and decided to splurge a bit. We generally go for the boutique venues but thought Hilton was a familiar name that would include a fabulous stay. The service was great, valet very friendly, quick, and helpful, as well as the front desk. We were disappointed to find broken fixtures in our bathroom, […] "complimentary" water at $2 a bottle, a phone from the 80's and all room service and bars closed at 11pm. We enjoyed our stay but felt for the price, maybe Hilton should try to live up to the standards of their name. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Stay away from the room next to elevator"
i got assign to 1501 and it's right next to the Elevator so in the early morning I can hear those three elevator goes up and down the whole time when passing through 15F. I didn't know what sound was it, I thought someone was dragging the luggage on the hallway but finally realized it's the elevator. =( Thank God I was too tire to hear it at night but […] every morning I woke up by those sound. Other than this, hotel has nice coffee machine with togo cup so I don't have to buy coffee outside. I like it.
