The hotel was clean and the staff was nice and helpful. The location was great and within walking distance of pretty much everywhere downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stay away from the room next to elevator"
i got assign to 1501 and it's right next to the Elevator so in the early morning I can hear those three elevator goes up and down the whole time when passing through 15F. I didn't know what sound was it, I thought someone was dragging the luggage on the hallway but finally realized it's the elevator. =( Thank God I was too tire to hear it at night but […] every morning I woke up by those sound. Other than this, hotel has nice coffee machine with togo cup so I don't have to buy coffee outside. I like it. I wish they can at least provide 1 bottle of complimentary bottle water, they charge $2 each. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Could have been better"
The front desk staff, the security and the valet were wonderful. The lady at the work out counter and the waiter that waited on us at breakfast did not maintain the level of customer service I expect from Hilton. They were both border line rude, unfriendly. The bathtub had a long hair in it when I went to shower, the bathroom slider door needed to be […] washed (the glass portion) which is not totally noticeable unless the door is shut and the light gold curtain had a big black stain by the rod. All could easily be cleaned if someone took the time to look. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great stay"
Upon pulling up to the hotel, the valet immediately stepped to our door side. She provided us with several parking options. She was well informed and accurate. The check in desk was quick and accommodating. As soon as I walked into our room the bell captain called and delivered our bags immediately. When we headed out for sight seeing the concierge […] provided us with a map of the area, highlighting the areas we requested. The pool, spa, and fitness center area were excellent. We checked out, leaving our bags in storage. When we were informed our flight was significantly delayed, they allowed us access to the pool to allow our kids some additional swim time. The rooms are not huge, but this is a downtown high rise hotel, where extra large rooms should not be expected. This location is easily accessed from the highway and all of the hotspots to visit are easily reached by walking. We rate this hotel very high and would gladly return. "close but high priced"
As far as the cleanliness, comfort and convenience of the hotel goes, it was great. I was disappointed with the price for what amenities were included. There was no refrigerator in the hotel room, the room itself was small compared to other hotels in the area and continental breakfast was not included.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Upon arrival we learned our room was upgraded ... Slightly frustrating because we had to drive to the other building during 5pm traffic, but it was worth it in the end. After an evening out, we were pleasantly surprised to find strawberries, dipping sauce, and sparkling wine in our room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Located near several venues"
Located within walking distance to several venues. Thank goodness the have below ground and valet parking, because you would have trouble even finding paid parking nearby. The hotel is clean, modern and very professional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, wish there was a fridge"
The location was very convenient to Pioneer Square and other areas we were visiting during our stay. The beds could have been larger (most other hotels in area have two queens) and we were shocked that there was no fridge in the room. When we inquired we were told that they took them all out and were waiting for new ones. Why not leave the old one until […] new ones arrive? Staff was pleasant though. Also the continental breakfast was extremely expensive for just offering up cereal and some fruit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Spacious hotel room and good location but........"
The hotel rooms are very spacious and is located in a good area not too far from the farmers market and other attractions. The problem is that the wallpaper and furniture is a bit outdated. The wallpaper you can see the yellowing on the walls. The drapes were not clean and walls in the shower was not maintained with holes and a bit of dirt. The housekeeping […] came at odd hours. One example was at 4:30pm PDT, we get a knock on the door follow quickly with an opening of the door. I didn't even have a chance to respond and I quickly dash for the door. She just wanted to know if everything is ok. Shampoo and body wash replacements was not given until requested. Overall experience is still good but I will try other hotels first if I stop by again. "Great location, rooms need upgrade"
This is a great location if you want to do sightseeing and shopping. The rooms though are overdue an upgrade and the bathrooms need a working exhaust fan.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Finally found our favorite place!"
Perfect location for parking the car and leaving it for the duration of the visit, everything is within walking distance or a taxi can be summoned at a moments notice. Staff was fantastic, curb side service, wait staff in the restaurant, front desk and housekeeping, all were extremely attentive. Clean, fresh and comfortable room and beds. Thank you […] all. "Great location, but a bit expensive"
The hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance of the Willamette river and there is a market on Saturdays and Sundays. The area holds true to the saying don't go south of the tracks. In this case the light rail tracks, however if you want to visit such places as Voodoo donuts, you will need to. Just use caution. The hotel itself has […] two building located minutes from each other. Take their advice, know which building you are staying at BEFORE you arrive. We stayed in the Executive tower, which means you can park directly in the parking garage and there is an elevator that goes down to the hotel lobby. Parking is not free and when we stayed there was 28.00 for the night. Kind of expensive. The room itself was nice. No microwave or fridge. That was surprising and a little bit of a let down. The bed was fairly comfy, but seemed a little small for a king. The single sitting chair needed to be cleaned. The desk was basic. Hence this is why I say the price was expensive for what you get. I've stayed at other Hiltons and this one could use a remodel desperately. The carpets in the hallway have seen better days and the tile in the bathroom was starting to turn brown in places. The view of the city was not a great view either. Our room looked out onto a roof top parking garage. We only stayed one night and it was fine for that one night. I probably would not get a room there again unless they did a remodel or gave a huge discount. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Charge for wifi, $ for water. Brunch was over priced and not maintained ( breads were not replaced in half hour we were there.). Omelette was not what ordered and took 10 minutes. At check out fee for breakfast hadn't been posted two hours later. Rates have gone up and we're not likely to stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms are small as you would expect. But if you want to be in DT, this is a great location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great downtown hotel"
The Hilton Hotel and Executive Towers is actually 2 separate hotels. We stayed in the Hilton Hotel part. The Executive Towers is across the street. The staff was attentive, the room was clean. They have valet parking, but due to a parade, we had to park in a parking structure about a block away. As soon as the parade was over at 11::30 pm, the bellman […] wheeled a cart to our car a block away and took care of our luggage. The rest of the service at the hotel for our 2 night stay, including the restaurant in the hotel and the hotel suggestions made by the staff for nearby restaurants, activities and directions was excellent. "Nice quiet comfortable room with great views"
Not very big but a good location, nice and quiet and we had a great view of Portland out our windowGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was nice and clean. Service was good. Location was great. Walking distance to pretty much everything in downtown. However I wasn't informed of the $27/day for self parking. Upon arriving I was told $32/valet or self park. It would have been nice to be given the heads up. But overall satisfied with my stay here. Would come backGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Super convenient hotel, located in the heart of downtown. The room is very cozy, though a little bit small. All in all, recommended!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The pictures and location that was shown in the website was not what I reserved. I went to the address indictated on my reservation and I was told that I was at the wrong location. The room, the pool, and the hotel were not worth what I paid. No fridge in the room, the bathroom was very small. The tub and sink had mold. I will definetly not return. […] I went to their restaurant and after waiting for water for 20 minutes, and no menu I decided to leave the restaurant. I'd give this place 2 stars, and that's only because of location. "Short walk from Amtrak"

"Worst Hotel Stay Ever"
Staff was incorrigible. Will never stay here again. Too many options within a few blocks at the same or less price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We travel to Portland several times each year to visit family. We were unaware there were 3 huge events going on in Portland that weekend and having booked another place to stay that turned out HORRIBLY bad (can you say planes flying over your head every 3 MINUTES) and we left after only one night, I tried to find a place to stay in downtown Portland […] at the last minute on a Saturday! Thank goodness the Hilton had 1 room left. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for everything we had to attend that night and the next day. We could walk to everything. The room was very spacious and very QUIET (unlike the previously mentioned accommodations). I will definitely be staying here again and again in our many trips to Portland we make year after year. Staff and Hotel were excellent , great location with walking distance to the waterfront, shopping , restaurants and Portland Saturday Market. Concierge and Valet were great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved how central the hotel was to everything we wanted to see: Sat. Farmers' Mrkt, Food trucks, Washington Park etc. It was a bit more than we wanted to spend, but we had a blast at the pool and the rooms were super clean!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice basic hotel"
There is nothing to wow you, but the hotel is clean and comfortable - it is a typical conference hotel. The location is perfect and they generally have very good prices for this area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Do not stay here."
Underwhelming across the board. My husband and I thought we'd book a romantic one night getaway in Portland. The room was TINY, had next to no amenities, bare bones through and through. The staff openly laughed at us when we asked where breakfast was (it's in the dining room, and not included). We joked that we could have stayed at the Motel 6 for half […] the price and twice the accommodations. Strongly recommend you pass on this one. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"staff was ill-informed and not helpfull"
The staff really needs to sell and promote the city better. So much to do, yet the staff seems ill-informed when asked. Asking for a good place to eat dinner we were recommended a couple dives and a pizza place. After settling for pizza, we later walked by a Ruth Chris, just blocks away from the hotel. We tried to eat breakfast at the restaurant in […] the hotel and waited 15 minutes not being approached by anyone. This was just after 10am on a Sunday. We asked front desk what was up and they said they would call someone. We waited another 10 minutes before giving up. I asked the front desk to recommend another breakfast place near by. They struggled to recommend anything but the close by McDonalds. Worst McDonalds ever. I don't go ever, but this had to be one of the worst. Very dirty, food was inedible. After driving around we saw more than a few other alternatives they could have suggested. Next time I will search myself on my phone. I just figured the local staff would have the inside word. I guess not. The Hilton staff was friendly, but not helpful. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed. We were also very disappointed to not have a microwave or a refrigerator in the room. Big, obvious voids where they once were. Both seem to be pretty standard in our travels and we rely on having them. Location was great, so we may try it again, but most likely will try a different hotel next time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good hotel for an ok price."
This was our second time staying at the Hilton. Clean rooms, bathroom, and bedding. Coffee and tea provided which I like. Only down side is they would not provide us with a microwave and we brought Togo food with us in the evening that we wanted to be heated. Also parking too expensive in hotel garage, so I'd rather park a few blocks down for half the […] price. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Everything was amazing. The room was clean and welcoming. My only problem was the fact they they do not offer any form of continental breakfast. And after a fun night of drinking that would of been very convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
In downtown, location very convenient. Staff was extremely helpful with giving directions during downtown street closures.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Seriously? That's it?"
I picked this hotel because it was right across the street from the concert hall. I've paid less than half this room price and gotten a MUCH larger room with a MUCH larger bathroom and had breakfast included. This is the Hilton - a prestigious name attached to the chain. So why is the bathroom there only the size of my half bath at home? And the piping […] under the sink is partially exposed, and partially obscured by cheap plastic? And how do they not include breakfast in their high prices? Not even a cheap muffin and bottle of water. The bottle of water in the room had a two dollar price tag on it, and there was no microwave or fridge - two other things I could have gotten in other rooms at a much lower price. "Fancy hotel, perfect location, many hidden charges"
Nice hotel with nice staff, but beware of the extra fees you will be paying for parking, Wi-Fi, etc. I don't recommend staying here. Next time I go to Portland, I'll stay at one of the cheap hotels in Lloyd districts were amenities are free or not so expensive, and take public transit to go Downtown.Genuine Expedia guest review

We found the location to be great! And for us being able to bring the dog along was a super. We were able to check in early, and enjoyed our stay....but.... the staff was lukewarm at best and there are two towers, the one we saw online was not what we got, the large pool with glass ceiling , and huge gym were not in ours. "Dont park in the hotel lot."
Car got broken into in the hotel lot, in the middle of the day. Hotel was nice about helping me clean up the mess of broken glass, but the weekend was ruined. They did refund me the $30 parking fee though, so I got that going for me.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Reservation didn't go through"
We pulled up to valet parking, valet could not find our reservation so he asked us to drive around to the other side of the building, park, and go to the front desk. He said they could valet park the car after we checked in there. I did as he asked, I unloaded my child and our luggage and schlepped to the front desk. At the front desk they could not […] find our reservation, said it was an Expedia problem that had happened to another customer a few minutes prior. After I waited 20 minutes they figured it out. They gave us a room in a different building, asked me to re-pack my child and our luggage into our car and drive there (one block away). I said no, that they needed to valet park the car from where it was, as I had been told they would do. BECAUSE OF THIS DELAY WE MISSED HALF OF THE EVENT WE HAD COME TO TOWN TO SEE. The next day we called the concierge to have the car brought up, came down 30 minutes later to find that the valet had never been contacted and had to wait more time.
