"Adequate at best."
Not a nice part of town, lots of drunk/stoned/nasty street people, pools of vomit. Bathrooms TINY. Restaurant HORRIBLE - filthy, bad service, average food at best.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Am sorry not to have stayed at the Shilo Inn. Their room was half the price and twice as nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Above and beyond"
We had a great stay with Hilton. We had decided to spend our wedding night there. The front desk attendant noticed our cake we had brought and congratulated us. After checking in and putting our bags in the room, we decided to go have a few drinks in the lounge. Mia, the bartender was absolutely wonderful. Great service and very courteous, when she […] found we were just married she treated us to a glass of champagne and gave us a card for free dessert. When we returned to our room, we were surprised to find a bottle of champagne, flutes and a tray of strawberries and chocolate along with a congratulations card from the front desk attendant. We were thrilled and amazed. Everything about our stay was wonderful! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Went well but the WIFI..........."
Had to pay for WIFI. Didnt like that at all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Well, I felt tricked by the advertising on the booking website. No jet tub, old phones and cheap amenitites, the room was not worth the money spent on it. I wont stay at the Hilton again in Portland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Awesome location. Amazing city.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to events"
Everything okay but the carpeting in the room was very dirty, had to wear shoes while in the room!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay. We will stay here again."

Newspaper delivered would have been nice. Appreciate a noon checkout. I'd use again..nice central location and near Bolt Bus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, great price"
Really liked the location of this hotel. Walkable distance to everything in the downtown district, and a block away from streetcar and light rail. The rooms are a bit small but not too small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic Hotel! Great Location and Service."
Fantastic customer service - everyone that we spoke to was very friendly and accommodating. Awesome central location in downtown Portland. Public transportation is great around the hotel and can take you just about anywhere you would like to go. Would definitely recommend this hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"In town for a Wedding"
Everyone I encountered on the staff was friendly and personable and went out of their way to meet our needs. The Hotel itself was beautiful. My only real problem was the size of the room as the only options were 1 king or 2 doubles...one of my boys ended up having to sleep on the floor with his camping mat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay was wonderful. The room was nice and clean and the service was exceptional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The service was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When booking through Hotels, I asked for twin queens and free wifi. The hotel stated that they didn't even have queen beds in any of the rooms. They threw in the wifi due to the inconvenience but it would not have been free otherwise. Asides from this, the rooms were nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Came to Portland for a friend's wedding & a soccer game. Great hotel--clean, beautiful view from the 22nd floor, nicely decorated rooms, and fantastic location (to most things in Portland, the BoltBus from Seattle, public transportation, etc....). I would absolutely stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We spent one night. It was very close to shopping and activities. Room was good other than toilet was loose and moved. Fees and taxes increased the bill substantially.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I booked a room at this location thinking it would be a great experience. Unfortunately the service of the Valet and the gentleman checking me into my room left a lot to be desired. Even upon checkout, I mentioned my experience, and a different gentleman was not very sympathetic. Most of the employees seemed to want to get me out of their way. I will […] state, the cleaning staff were the nicest to me all weekend, and made me feel welcome. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for business and sightseeing alike"
I spent a good deal of time in the hotel for a conference and was satisfied with my stay. The room service was quick and decent, the room was very comfortable, and the conference location was about as good as any other. In my spare time, I was also able to walk to a ton of restaurants and sites. Although I didn't catch the light rail in town, it ran […] right in front of the hotel. It was also a quick cab ride to the airport (about 25-30 minutes). Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I came back to Portland! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"How much did I pay for this?? Not a deal..."
We were excited to be coming to Portland for a nearby wedding and decided to splurge a bit. We generally go for the boutique venues but thought Hilton was a familiar name that would include a fabulous stay. The service was great, valet very friendly, quick, and helpful, as well as the front desk. We were disappointed to find broken fixtures in our bathroom, […] "complimentary" water at $2 a bottle, a phone from the 80's and all room service and bars closed at 11pm. We enjoyed our stay but felt for the price, maybe Hilton should try to live up to the standards of their name. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed here one night. Room was nice, very clean and nice view. Bed was comfortable and I loved the complimentary water. Front desk staff was friendly and housekeeping said hello everytime I walked by. Location was convenient. I would definitely recommend to others and stay here again as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was clean and the staff was nice and helpful. The location was great and within walking distance of pretty much everywhere downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stay away from the room next to elevator"
i got assign to 1501 and it's right next to the Elevator so in the early morning I can hear those three elevator goes up and down the whole time when passing through 15F. I didn't know what sound was it, I thought someone was dragging the luggage on the hallway but finally realized it's the elevator. =( Thank God I was too tire to hear it at night but […] every morning I woke up by those sound. Other than this, hotel has nice coffee machine with togo cup so I don't have to buy coffee outside. I like it. I wish they can at least provide 1 bottle of complimentary bottle water, they charge $2 each. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Could have been better"
The front desk staff, the security and the valet were wonderful. The lady at the work out counter and the waiter that waited on us at breakfast did not maintain the level of customer service I expect from Hilton. They were both border line rude, unfriendly. The bathtub had a long hair in it when I went to shower, the bathroom slider door needed to be […] washed (the glass portion) which is not totally noticeable unless the door is shut and the light gold curtain had a big black stain by the rod. All could easily be cleaned if someone took the time to look. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great stay"
Upon pulling up to the hotel, the valet immediately stepped to our door side. She provided us with several parking options. She was well informed and accurate. The check in desk was quick and accommodating. As soon as I walked into our room the bell captain called and delivered our bags immediately. When we headed out for sight seeing the concierge […] provided us with a map of the area, highlighting the areas we requested. The pool, spa, and fitness center area were excellent. We checked out, leaving our bags in storage. When we were informed our flight was significantly delayed, they allowed us access to the pool to allow our kids some additional swim time. The rooms are not huge, but this is a downtown high rise hotel, where extra large rooms should not be expected. This location is easily accessed from the highway and all of the hotspots to visit are easily reached by walking. We rate this hotel very high and would gladly return. "close but high priced"
As far as the cleanliness, comfort and convenience of the hotel goes, it was great. I was disappointed with the price for what amenities were included. There was no refrigerator in the hotel room, the room itself was small compared to other hotels in the area and continental breakfast was not included.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Upon arrival we learned our room was upgraded ... Slightly frustrating because we had to drive to the other building during 5pm traffic, but it was worth it in the end. After an evening out, we were pleasantly surprised to find strawberries, dipping sauce, and sparkling wine in our room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Located near several venues"
Located within walking distance to several venues. Thank goodness the have below ground and valet parking, because you would have trouble even finding paid parking nearby. The hotel is clean, modern and very professional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good location right in downtown"
Excellent staff very helpful. Went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, wish there was a fridge"
The location was very convenient to Pioneer Square and other areas we were visiting during our stay. The beds could have been larger (most other hotels in area have two queens) and we were shocked that there was no fridge in the room. When we inquired we were told that they took them all out and were waiting for new ones. Why not leave the old one until […] new ones arrive? Staff was pleasant though. Also the continental breakfast was extremely expensive for just offering up cereal and some fruit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Spacious hotel room and good location but........"
The hotel rooms are very spacious and is located in a good area not too far from the farmers market and other attractions. The problem is that the wallpaper and furniture is a bit outdated. The wallpaper you can see the yellowing on the walls. The drapes were not clean and walls in the shower was not maintained with holes and a bit of dirt. The housekeeping […] came at odd hours. One example was at 4:30pm PDT, we get a knock on the door follow quickly with an opening of the door. I didn't even have a chance to respond and I quickly dash for the door. She just wanted to know if everything is ok. Shampoo and body wash replacements was not given until requested. Overall experience is still good but I will try other hotels first if I stop by again. "Easy to walk the downtown"
Hotel was clean and quiet. Located so all areas of downtown are walkable. Would stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, but not for an extended stay"
This hotel is sparkling clean. Loved that! However, it is obviously geared for short stay. No fridge, or microwave, rooms are extremely small. I thought it was odd that they charged for wifi (as it seems to be a professional travelers type hotel). Had to go next door to Starbucks to do some work while I was there.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, rooms need upgrade"
This is a great location if you want to do sightseeing and shopping. The rooms though are overdue an upgrade and the bathrooms need a working exhaust fan.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location, but way overprized."
We stayed here for 2 nights late June and paid more than USD 300.00 per night (w/o tax). Upon arrival we discovered the extra charges of USD 27,00 per day for parking and USD 9.95 per day for internet. The room did not have a fridge to store our fruits and drinks. Frontdesk informed us that renting a fridge would be an extra charge (!) Management is […] really squeezing every penny they can from the guests. Not a welcoming feeling. We wanted to stay in downtown and the hotel's location is good indeed. However we did not enjoy downtown Portland that much. We expected more activities (Chinatown is dead; Westside Riverwalk is boring). Eventually we paid around USD 700.00 for 2 nights in this hotel. We would suggest to stay in a more affordable hotel in another district and use the cheap metro (USD 1.00) to travel to downtown. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Finally found our favorite place!"
Perfect location for parking the car and leaving it for the duration of the visit, everything is within walking distance or a taxi can be summoned at a moments notice. "Great location, but a bit expensive"
The hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance of the Willamette river and there is a market on Saturdays and Sundays. The area holds true to the saying don't go south of the tracks. In this case the light rail tracks, however if you want to visit such places as Voodoo donuts, you will need to. Just use caution. The hotel itself has […] two building located minutes from each other. Take their advice, know which building you are staying at BEFORE you arrive. We stayed in the Executive tower, which means you can park directly in the parking garage and there is an elevator that goes down to the hotel lobby. Parking is not free and when we stayed there was 28.00 for the night. Kind of expensive. The room itself was nice. No microwave or fridge. That was surprising and a little bit of a let down. The bed was fairly comfy, but seemed a little small for a king. The single sitting chair needed to be cleaned. The desk was basic. Hence this is why I say the price was expensive for what you get. I've stayed at other Hiltons and this one could use a remodel desperately. The carpets in the hallway have seen better days and the tile in the bathroom was starting to turn brown in places. The view of the city was not a great view either. Our room looked out onto a roof top parking garage. We only stayed one night and it was fine for that one night. I probably would not get a room there again unless they did a remodel or gave a huge discount. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Hotel in good location."
Hotel was nice and in center of town. Easy accesibility to places and transportation.Genuine Expedia guest review
THE ROOM WAS VERY SMALL, THE PILLOWS WERE TERRIBLE. WE WERE AT A CONFERENCE- THE MORNING SPREAD- HAD VERY STALE ROLLS, AND THE CHEESE EGG AND BACON BREAKFAST SANDWICH TASTED SPOILED!!! ALSO AT THE COCKTAIL EVENT- PORK WAS SERVED WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR MANY PEOPLE. SO I WOULD SAY THE FOOD WAS DISAPPOINTING.Genuine Expedia guest review
Charge for wifi, $ for water. Brunch was over priced and not maintained ( breads were not replaced in half hour we were there.). Omelette was not what ordered and took 10 minutes. At check out fee for breakfast hadn't been posted two hours later. Rates have gone up and we're not likely to stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms are small as you would expect. But if you want to be in DT, this is a great location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great downtown hotel"
The Hilton Hotel and Executive Towers is actually 2 separate hotels. We stayed in the Hilton Hotel part. The Executive Towers is across the street. The staff was attentive, the room was clean. They have valet parking, but due to a parade, we had to park in a parking structure about a block away. As soon as the parade was over at 11::30 pm, the bellman […] wheeled a cart to our car a block away and took care of our luggage. The rest of the service at the hotel for our 2 night stay, including the restaurant in the hotel and the hotel suggestions made by the staff for nearby restaurants, activities and directions was excellent. "Nice quiet comfortable room with great views"
Not very big but a good location, nice and quiet and we had a great view of Portland out our windowGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was nice and clean. Service was good. Location was great. Walking distance to pretty much everything in downtown. However I wasn't informed of the $27/day for self parking. Upon arriving I was told $32/valet or self park. It would have been nice to be given the heads up. But overall satisfied with my stay here. Would come backGenuine Hotels.com guest review
