"Not the quality that I was expecting!"
I went down to Portland for a girls weekend out. We planned on shopping, enjoying the waterfront, and eating at big girl restaurants. When we got to the hotel the valets were great. The concierge gave fantastic service, but our room was very disappointing. The hallway was full of cigarette smoke. The room was supposed to have two Queen sized beds, but […] only had two Full sized beds. The room was also dusty. Since I made the arrangements, I felt very responsible for it's condition. "Nice in city center"
Nice hotel but for the money they charge, parking and wifi should be included.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean and nice, but not for the price"
This was my first stay in a Hilton hotel, and I don't think I'll be repeating the experience. The hotel was nice, but the room was standard at best. We paid $250/night for a double queen, and with the small table and tv stand, there was just enough room to walk around the beds. There was a closet, but no dressers of any sort, or mini fridge. Wifi was […] available for an extra charge, there were 2 warm bottles of water left in our room....for $2 a bottle. We thought that we had paid a large enough fee for the room to not be nickel and dimed. When we turned on the tv, a large pixture of a scantily clad woman offered "adult entertainment" on the main screen. Classy. The beds were comfortable and the furniture and fixtures were much nicer than you'd get at a budget hotel, but we hardly thought this worth the extra $150/ a night. While we were obviously not impressed with the room for the price, we had no other complaints with the rest of the hotel. It was very clean, well decorated, and staff were all friendly and professional. If Hilton had concentrated as much on a comfortable in-room experience as they had on the rest of the hotel, we would have enjoyed out stay much more. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"My Room Was A Closet"
I was given a room smaller than some people's closets. I had trouble ironing a shirt because there was barely room to put down the ironing board. The bathroom had a smaller than normal sized toilet and a shower but no tub. When I was asked about my stay and said I was disappointed with the size of the room, I received a curt apology, but nothing mo […] re. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
While the hotel was nice and in a great location, the room was teeny. We literally had to turn sideways to walk between the TV and the bed. I'm short and it was difficult to turn the shower on because I had to reach over the counter in the bathroom to reach the faucet in the tub. For the cost of the room, it seems like the space could have been planned […] out better. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The rooms at this Hilton were nice, clean, and comfortable. The only thing was that the rooms are a little smaller than usual. Besides that drawback, everything was great, from the staff to the location.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Comfortable but expensive"
Reasonably large room. Good quality mattresses. Expensive for what you get. We were there in summer, so prices were higher. $289 base cost plus about $40 in taxes, $9.95 for an in-room internet connection, and $35 per 24-hour period to park. Our 2-night stay cost over $700. We didn't eat at the in-hotel restaurant because we found on a previous trip […] that it was mediocre. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"close but high priced"
As far as the cleanliness, comfort and convenience of the hotel goes, it was great. I was disappointed with the price for what amenities were included. There was no refrigerator in the hotel room, the room itself was small compared to other hotels in the area and continental breakfast was not included.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice location in the heart of downtown Portland."
The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The lobby areas were kept very nice. The room was clean. Otherwise, I found the room itself to be inconvenient. The coffee pot was way over behind the second bed, the bathroom counter layout made it difficult to find places to put the things you need to get ready to go in the morning. The water pressure […] was low. The TV was slow to catch up with the remote. No channel schedule or guide. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Upon arrival we learned our room was upgraded ... Slightly frustrating because we had to drive to the other building during 5pm traffic, but it was worth it in the end. After an evening out, we were pleasantly surprised to find strawberries, dipping sauce, and sparkling wine in our room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Located near several venues"
Located within walking distance to several venues. Thank goodness the have below ground and valet parking, because you would have trouble even finding paid parking nearby. The hotel is clean, modern and very professional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good location right in downtown"
Excellent staff very helpful. Went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, wish there was a fridge"
The location was very convenient to Pioneer Square and other areas we were visiting during our stay. The beds could have been larger (most other hotels in area have two queens) and we were shocked that there was no fridge in the room. When we inquired we were told that they took them all out and were waiting for new ones. Why not leave the old one until […] new ones arrive? Staff was pleasant though. Also the continental breakfast was extremely expensive for just offering up cereal and some fruit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Spacious hotel room and good location but........"
The hotel rooms are very spacious and is located in a good area not too far from the farmers market and other attractions. The problem is that the wallpaper and furniture is a bit outdated. The wallpaper you can see the yellowing on the walls. The drapes were not clean and walls in the shower was not maintained with holes and a bit of dirt. The housekeeping […] came at odd hours. One example was at 4:30pm PDT, we get a knock on the door follow quickly with an opening of the door. I didn't even have a chance to respond and I quickly dash for the door. She just wanted to know if everything is ok. Shampoo and body wash replacements was not given until requested. Overall experience is still good but I will try other hotels first if I stop by again. "Easy to walk the downtown"
Hotel was clean and quiet. Located so all areas of downtown are walkable. Would stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, but not for an extended stay"
This hotel is sparkling clean. Loved that! However, it is obviously geared for short stay. No fridge, or microwave, rooms are extremely small. I thought it was odd that they charged for wifi (as it seems to be a professional travelers type hotel). Had to go next door to Starbucks to do some work while I was there.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, rooms need upgrade"
This is a great location if you want to do sightseeing and shopping. The rooms though are overdue an upgrade and the bathrooms need a working exhaust fan.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location, but way overprized."
We stayed here for 2 nights late June and paid more than USD 300.00 per night (w/o tax). Upon arrival we discovered the extra charges of USD 27,00 per day for parking and USD 9.95 per day for internet. The room did not have a fridge to store our fruits and drinks. Frontdesk informed us that renting a fridge would be an extra charge (!) Management is […] really squeezing every penny they can from the guests. Not a welcoming feeling. We wanted to stay in downtown and the hotel's location is good indeed. However we did not enjoy downtown Portland that much. We expected more activities (Chinatown is dead; Westside Riverwalk is boring). Eventually we paid around USD 700.00 for 2 nights in this hotel. We would suggest to stay in a more affordable hotel in another district and use the cheap metro (USD 1.00) to travel to downtown. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Finally found our favorite place!"
Perfect location for parking the car and leaving it for the duration of the visit, everything is within walking distance or a taxi can be summoned at a moments notice. Staff was fantastic, curb side service, wait staff in the restaurant, front desk and housekeeping, all were extremely attentive. Clean, fresh and comfortable room and beds. Thank you […] all. "Great location, but a bit expensive"
The hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance of the Willamette river and there is a market on Saturdays and Sundays. The area holds true to the saying don't go south of the tracks. In this case the light rail tracks, however if you want to visit such places as Voodoo donuts, you will need to. Just use caution. The hotel itself has […] two building located minutes from each other. Take their advice, know which building you are staying at BEFORE you arrive. We stayed in the Executive tower, which means you can park directly in the parking garage and there is an elevator that goes down to the hotel lobby. Parking is not free and when we stayed there was 28.00 for the night. Kind of expensive. The room itself was nice. No microwave or fridge. That was surprising and a little bit of a let down. The bed was fairly comfy, but seemed a little small for a king. The single sitting chair needed to be cleaned. The desk was basic. Hence this is why I say the price was expensive for what you get. I've stayed at other Hiltons and this one could use a remodel desperately. The carpets in the hallway have seen better days and the tile in the bathroom was starting to turn brown in places. The view of the city was not a great view either. Our room looked out onto a roof top parking garage. We only stayed one night and it was fine for that one night. I probably would not get a room there again unless they did a remodel or gave a huge discount. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Hotel in good location."
Hotel was nice and in center of town. Easy accesibility to places and transportation.Genuine Expedia guest review
THE ROOM WAS VERY SMALL, THE PILLOWS WERE TERRIBLE. WE WERE AT A CONFERENCE- THE MORNING SPREAD- HAD VERY STALE ROLLS, AND THE CHEESE EGG AND BACON BREAKFAST SANDWICH TASTED SPOILED!!! ALSO AT THE COCKTAIL EVENT- PORK WAS SERVED WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR MANY PEOPLE. SO I WOULD SAY THE FOOD WAS DISAPPOINTING.Genuine Expedia guest review
Charge for wifi, $ for water. Brunch was over priced and not maintained ( breads were not replaced in half hour we were there.). Omelette was not what ordered and took 10 minutes. At check out fee for breakfast hadn't been posted two hours later. Rates have gone up and we're not likely to stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great downtown hotel"
The Hilton Hotel and Executive Towers is actually 2 separate hotels. We stayed in the Hilton Hotel part. The Executive Towers is across the street. The staff was attentive, the room was clean. They have valet parking, but due to a parade, we had to park in a parking structure about a block away. As soon as the parade was over at 11::30 pm, the bellman […] wheeled a cart to our car a block away and took care of our luggage. The rest of the service at the hotel for our 2 night stay, including the restaurant in the hotel and the hotel suggestions made by the staff for nearby restaurants, activities and directions was excellent. Hotel was nice and clean. Service was good. Location was great. Walking distance to pretty much everything in downtown. However I wasn't informed of the $27/day for self parking. Upon arriving I was told $32/valet or self park. It would have been nice to be given the heads up. But overall satisfied with my stay here. Would come backGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good hotel option downtown"
Good hotel choice down town if you can get a room for a reasonable rate. The rooms have a nice size and decent amenities. You are walkable to all the downtown shopping and the pearl district. However, most of the great restaurants, and local shopping will require you to drive or take a cab to it. We parked at the parking garage across the street which […] was $18 a night instead of $32 with the hotel valet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel - new and comfortable"
It's new - you can still smell construction, just a little bit. Great free breakfast (can be overcrowded on weekend from 9 to 10am - just come earlier!). Clean pools, free computer access, free slow wifi (works ok for simple browsing) + paid fast wifi. The location is not the best - it is near the big train station, and sometimes you can hear the engines […] (if you know what to listen to). But from the other side of the hotel - it's Pearl District, all new and shiny... It was a great stay for our family (5 people, including two toddlers) - with a kitchenette, a living area with a sofabed... Could have more than 2 chairs, though. "Nice hotel in the heart of downtown Portland!"
Comfy bed, nice room, great staff. The room and bathroom were tiny, that's my only complaint. Other than that it was great!Genuine Expedia guest review
The pictures and location that was shown in the website was not what I reserved. I went to the address indictated on my reservation and I was told that I was at the wrong location. The room, the pool, and the hotel were not worth what I paid. No fridge in the room, the bathroom was very small. The tub and sink had mold. I will definetly not return. […] I went to their restaurant and after waiting for water for 20 minutes, and no menu I decided to leave the restaurant. I'd give this place 2 stars, and that's only because of location. Staff was incorrigible. Will never stay here again. Too many options within a few blocks at the same or less price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We travel to Portland several times each year to visit family. We were unaware there were 3 huge events going on in Portland that weekend and having booked another place to stay that turned out HORRIBLY bad (can you say planes flying over your head every 3 MINUTES) and we left after only one night, I tried to find a place to stay in downtown Portland […] at the last minute on a Saturday! Thank goodness the Hilton had 1 room left. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for everything we had to attend that night and the next day. We could walk to everything. The room was very spacious and very QUIET (unlike the previously mentioned accommodations). I will definitely be staying here again and again in our many trips to Portland we make year after year. "Do not stay here."
Underwhelming across the board. My husband and I thought we'd book a romantic one night getaway in Portland. The room was TINY, had next to no amenities, bare bones through and through. The staff openly laughed at us when we asked where breakfast was (it's in the dining room, and not included). We joked that we could have stayed at the Motel 6 for half […] the price and twice the accommodations. Strongly recommend you pass on this one. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
