"Great location, friendly staff."
The Hilton diwnton is a very nice hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great location. Second time I've stay here and I will continue to come back!Genuine Expedia guest review
"A little pricey but good location."

Stayed only the one night. Hotel was quiet and very comfortable must say the breakfast was fantastic!Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to great shops,restaurants"
My daughter and I took a "stay-cation" in Portland and took advantage of the Hilton's location to do school clothes shopping. The Hilton is close to Pioneer Place (lots of great stores) as well as other major retailers. It is also steps away from Pioneer Square which always has something going on - this weekend it had an Indian Festival with dancing, […] singing, food, etc. We had a room on the 11th floor in the Executive Tower - same floor as the pool and workout room. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. We were told we would have a view of the Willamette River, but really all we had was a view of the freeway leading to the river - go for a higher floor if possible. The hotel is very close to Max stations, so it is easy to get to and you don't need a car to enjoy downtown Portland. Overall - a great stay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good downtown location...walked everywhere"
Easily accessible, great staff, clean rooms. Everything that one expects in a HiltonGenuine Expedia guest review
Stayed in the Executive Towers. Great location for walking or catching any of the MAX lines. We enjoyed our stay!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
To many extra charges....35.00 to pay for a nights parking...ouch. Extra fees for WiFi... come on their nightly rate wasn't that much different from other Hotels in the area that don't charge for these things.Genuine Expedia guest review
The concierge was very helpfulGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Extended Stay when Hilton was pricier than Expedia"
We stayed at the Hilton for a conference and wanted to extend for a couple extra days. Hilton's price would go up $40/night for the entire stay! So we kept the conference rate for that portion and booked two more nights through Expedia with a great rate. I gave Hilton the chance to match it, but they said NO. Just confirmed why we use Expedia!Genuine Expedia guest review
The location of this hotel is perfect. It is within walking distance to shopping and food places. The room was a bit tight although it was upgraded. The hallway carpet was not in such great shape for some reason - very dirty. The gym was great. The pool is not too family friendly. It's set up to be more of a lap pool.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great stay!!!"
The staff here, especially Nani, at the front desk, were all so amazing and helpful. Nani really went above and beyond to ensure that we had a peaceful night, after a long and grueling day of travel. The room was great- very clean and very comfortable. It was the best nights sleep I've had in a long time! Very centrally located, and easy to walk and […] eat and shop! Also, the hotel restaurant which is located across the street in the other building, was delicious!! I highly recommend staying here if you are headed to Portland! We checked in to the main hotel and the roar of the hotel's air conditioning and fan system kept us awake. We moved at 2:00 am to the executive towers across the street which did not have the same issueGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location is perfect"
The location of this hotel is the reason why I chose this property.Genuine Expedia guest review
Though I can't say I was happy about the front desk manager that I was dealing with or the check out process. The hotel itself was nice. I had a King size bed and was super comfortable. The room was clean and set to 65 degrees before I arrived to my room. The room wasn't stuffy because usually when I sleep at a hotel I tend to wake up stuffy and congested. Overall […] the location of the hotel was conveniently located near a lot of shopping and great eateries. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, not to normal Hilton standards"
We checked in perfectly fine, front desk was friendly enough although certainly didn't go out of their way to smile or treat us as guest's vs just another 'number'. The room had a constant hum... couldn't figure out if it was the air conditioner or something outside the room. Annoying. The topper of the stay was actually breakfast. I ate alone and […] could tell I was a bother. Requested a glass of water... server stated yes and then went to talk with another server... 10 minutes later I requested from the host. I ordered the breakfast sandwich... poorest quality of bacon, I couldn't eat it. Server came by... I had to ask for a water refill, she again said she would be right back... 5 minutes later I got up and got my own water from the server station... table beside the station followed suit and got their own coffee. Serious issues with bad service. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Great Spot close to everything Portland has to offer: Restaurants, Bars, Nightlife, Transportation, Art, Parks. Decently priced. Very clean and great views.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, dependable hotel in the heart of Portland."
This hotel was just as advertised. It was clean, efficiently run; the staff was friendly, and the location was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone.Genuine Expedia guest review
Decent hotel, within walking distance of good restaurants, shopping and the pearl district. Service at the hotel was good, check in/out was quick and efficient. Downside is that they charge for wifi. Most other hotels provide it for free.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The food at The Bistro was excellent!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Just stopped in on the way to Seattle. Got in late and the staff was accommodating with our late arrival. Great view of the city.Genuine Expedia guest review
Poor service in lobby, no one service us, we wait 10min+ to get a luggage cart.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Blues Festival"
Enjoyed our stay. Two minor hickups - one day housekeeping didn't leave any towels, soap, etc. Easily rectified. There was a light out in the bathroom that took five days to get fixed. They replaced the bulb, but that wasn't the problem. There were other lights in the bathroom, so not a big issue.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Got in late, had difficulty figuring out parking situation, as you will have to pay $27 to park in a garage catty-corner from the hotel. Remember to take the parking garage tab to the front desk so they can give you a card, so that the old guy doesn't chew you out the next day for not reading the long note directed to the Hilton guests. Beautiful downtown […] setting, but a little uncomfortable at night with all the night folks about. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and comfortable, staff was pleasant, except one morning we walked right by the desk and no one acknowledged us, as others usually greet with a "Good Morning!" as you walk by. All in all had a pleasant stay! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"very close to all we needed in Portland"

Great location, super friendly staff, nice rooms. Negatives are wi-fi is pay per day or in lobby free. Parking steep. Great city is Portland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rude check-in staff"
There is no easy way to park the car so you can go in to check-in. My husband dropped me off as he pulled up to the very short pullout along the side of the building and then the desk clerk wouldn't let me check us in because the reservation was in my husband's name - even though I had HIS ID with me. The parking valet insisted to know where and how […] you are going to park and get off the busy pullout for check-in, the arrival staff was just very rude. I would expect this in New York City but NOT in Portland, Oregon! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The only downside to the trip is that we wished the hotel offered a continental breakfast. The hotel is beautiful. We loved the pool, sauna and steam room. Location was perfect. Everyone was very kind and had great sense of humor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"too expensive for what it was."
I think this hotel is overpriced. be aware of the parking charge which is 27$ per night.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel in the middle of Portland's downtown"
Mostly a great trip. I reserved a King Size room, but when I got there at 7pm, they didn't have any available that were ready. The front desk manager "upgraded" me to their executive rooms (2-beds). I don't know why it was really an upgrade. It was just a basic room with two beds and a bathroom and no view. Nothing fancy or "suite" about it. But, hey […] whatever. The location was good, we were able to walk to most places or hop on the tram to get around. Staff was friendly. Walls must be thin though as we had our neighbors knock on our walls at 8pm due to being "too loud". Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"In the thick of downtown"
Loved the location. My minimal interaction with staff was very pleasant. The electronic key-cards got a little wonky in the middle of our stay: highly annoying. We had to get them rekeyed twice. Other than that, our stay was great.Genuine Expedia guest review
We arrived a little early and a rush was put on getting the rooms ready so it did not take long to get settled. Easy check in from both hotels. Easy check out.Genuine Expedia guest review
My only complaint is that the pillows were uncomfortable. Other than that, our stay couldn't have been better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overpriced for what it is..."
The hotel seemed very disorganized. They had a business center with computers but no printers...one has to email or save to flash a document for the UPS store (2nd floor) to get printed. When we were there, we were unable to print boarding passes because the security on them will not allow them to be filled out and save. Also, the UPS store does close […] for 15-20 minutes stretches during the day. This is all absurb; I am sure the Hilton company can afford a few lousy printers for their business center. Also, I felt very nickel and dimed at this Hilton -- had to pay for internet (again, totally ridiculous these days), had to pay $2.00 for a bottle of water in the room, no complimentary breakfast, a room that had sparsely anything in it and still cost a significant amount of money. The room was clean and the hotel was safe and close to the bus line, but I do not think I will stay here on my next trip into Portland; friends of ours recommended less chintzy and more about service to the customer than the ostentatiousness of the Hilton name. What you would expect from a Hilton, comfortable and professionally staffed.Genuine Expedia guest review
So I booked this hotel hoping to be put in the tower with the hot tub so I wouldnt have to run across the street in my swimsuit and it was rather dissapointing to find out that I wasn't placed in the same tower as the hot tub. Although this may seem like not a big deal it was ! Rather irritating ! So next time someone books they should be able to know […] that they are not guaranteed the tower with the tub but rather they might have to run across the street . "Great staff. Clean room."
The staff was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. This hotel's management should be proud of the people who make this place go. Hats off to those same managers who created the conditions that allow that kind of performance from the staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
Had a great experience, booked two rooms and they were great! Both had an outstanding view of the city and surrounding areas. Will definitely stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Wonderful Stay"
My boyfriend is leaving to fight fires for the summer so we decided to stay out in Portland for a night on the town. The staff was so friendly and they even sent a bottle of champagne and strawberries to our room while we were away at dinner. This was the best stay I have experienced at any hotel, we will always stay there!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great downtown location"
Two best things about this hotel were its perfect downtown location and the excellent concierge. We did not have a car and were able to get EVERYWHERE from this location with the help of the concierge. The hotel itself is dated and our Expedia double was tiny with no view, absolutely no counter space in bathroom. Furnishings in need of replacement, […] e.g., torn upholstery in the room, etc. There were nicer hotels nearby in the same general price range. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Overall, our stay was very nice."
The only issue we had was that because the bed was so big/long, we had a bit of a time passing between the bottom of the bed and the tv cabinet to get to the far (window) side of the room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel. Great location."
Very pleased with the cleanliness. That's a big must for me. The location was great! Very convenient. The parking was nice a little expensive, but didn't have to drive and find parking so it was some what worth the money. The only bad part of my experience was checking in. Check in was at 3:00pm and that was the time I arrived at the hotel along with […] great number of other. Which is to be expected. That was not my concer of the number of people checking in, but was the number of people behind the counter checking us in. Like there was only one person. Let me tell you she Definitely earn her pay that day. I commend her. She was calm, polite, and helpful. But it did take awhile to check in Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
