The bed was not that comfortable and the heater made a bunch of noise. The staff was nice bit the lobby was really cold. For the price I expected a bit more but the location was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was very nice and helpful. The proximity to the Max made getting to the Rose Quarter and back a snap.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would stay here again"
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is centrally located and walking distance to most things. The facilities were well kept, the gym was nice, and the staff was polite.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A couple of issues, but 9 out of 10 rated."
Great location in downtown Portland on Broadway (the main shopping street). I liked this hotel very much with LRT one block away (to get to the airport), shopping, parks, bars, restaurants, food truck (Gotta love Portland's food trucks). The room was very nice , updated, comfy linen/bedding, nice view from the 7th floor, nice toiletries. The front desk […] staff were very welcoming. No comment on food/fitness/pool as I did not partake. Free coffee in the room ($2 for water bottle however). The only 2 negatives: STREET NOISE and NO FREE WIFI. Even though I was on the 7th floor, the windows must be toilet paper thin in this hotel. Traffic engines, delivery trucks at 6am, people talking on the street at any hour . Yes, I could hear it all during the first night of my stay. Earplugs at bedtime solved the problem during the subsequent nights. Overall 9/10. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
nice hotel but it would have been good to know the restaurant was under construction and not available. enjoyable for a night away - can't go wrong in this neighborhood & very close to melting pot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotels close to everything"
Hotel is close to everything including the train which became very important after landing in Portland and finding out cabs will not transport my 4 year old without a car seat. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and kind. Great view from the 23rd floor where breakfast is served. Walked everywhere.Genuine Expedia guest review
"My Portland, Oregon stay at the Hilton"
I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton in Portland Oregon. Everything I wanted to see was in close proximity to the hotel. The only complaint I have is that the WI-FI should be free. Charging forty dollars a day for it's use was a little much so I didn't use it, they stated I could use it in the lobby for free. That didn't make much since to me. They did have […] complimentary computers off the lobby that you could use for free. One of the front desk attendants saw me come down to the lobby about 3am and gave me a complimentary code so I could use WI-FI for the rest of my stay from my room for free. I thought that was very nice of him. I was at the hotel for 8 days. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff were nice and helpful. Rooms are clean but basic factors such as a room frig, microwave etc.. are missing. Rooms are clean and comfortableGenuine Expedia guest review
I was disappointed. I spent $300 to stay in a tiny room with no kitchenette. We had to actually request a mini fridge and we weren't even guaranteed to get it. I've stayed in hotels for $40 a night with more amenities then the Executive Towers. This hotel needs a serious upgrade.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, great lication"
Great hotel, TV didn't work for most of the night, they eventually fixed, but didn't even offer anthing for the inconvenience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Would not return"
Small room, double beds, supposed to be two queens, lots of dirty dishes in hallway from other guests, broken coffee pot, expensive Internet access, overall expensive hotel for what you get. Only positive was the location. Would not return, lots of other less expensive options that offer more amenities.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear A Verified Traveler, Thank you for staying with us and sharing your feedback from your stay. I am disappointed that your stay was less than satisfactory and even more so, that you were misinformed when booking your reservation. We currently have rooms with one king bed or two double beds for guest's to choose from. Due to the size of our rooms and it being an older hotel, it does not give much room to have two queen size beds. Your comments regarding the amenities will be shared with the proper teams so that other guest's do not experience the same issues. Thank you again for your comments as it is the only way we will be able to fix issues in order for us to exceed our guest's expectations in the future. Warm regards, Kahuanani
"Great location, great price"
Aside from the slightly inconvenient parking options (garage is a block and a half away), this was an excellent hotel for our family visit to Portland. The room was great (we got a corner room with great views of the city) and the location couldn't have been better. We will definitely look into this hotel again for our next visit.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear A Verified Traveler, Thank you for staying with us and thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We take pride in the fact that we are centrally located to the happenings of the downtown area and the corner rooms show the beautiful views we are lucky to have. Thank you once again and we look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit. Warm regards, Kahuanani

"pet friendly in the middle of the city"
I needed a pet friendly hotel, and this one was a great one in the middle of the city! Everyone was nice to my puppy, and there was a park 2 blocks away for her to get some exercise!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear A Verified Traveller, Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay with us. Being as someone who also likes to take my pet with me, at times it can be a challenge to seek out pet friendly options. "Very clean, great beds, and very comfortable!"
We had a problem with the fan/heater on a very cold day but a technician came right away and assessed the situation. It did include relocating us to another room, but it was on the same floor and a bellman assisted with moving our bags! The beds and bedding were also very comfortable and we loved the bathroom toiletries. We would definitely recommend […] this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hilton Downtown Stay"
This hotel location was right where we wanted to stay in downtown Portland. We would like to stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"No hospitality culture"
You judge a hotel stay based on the overall, facilities, amenities, guest hospitality, etc. The executive tower is old, the rooms outdated and the pool is dirty, cracked and un sanitary. The dining room staff are pretentious and not polite, stayed here on Dec 25th and even whit open tables and being a guest they refused to a comodate our walk in party […] of 3. The staff was careless altogether they smiled and greeted all the time they were not a como dating at all. Not worth the money... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Thank you for taking the time to communicate your disappointing experience at our hotel. While it is not news we would like to hear, it is needed and appreciated as that is the only way we know what we need to do to reach our goal of exceeding the expectations of our guests every time. Please know that this is not the way things are usually handled at our hotel. We pride ourselves on being exceptional at customer service and in making sure that you leave having had each expectation met or exceeded. Rest assured I am following up with our team members and managers, to make sure that this unfortunate situation does not recur. We are currently going through a full renovation in our Executive Tower at this time as well. Hopefully you will give us another chance to prove that we are the perfect 'home away from home' while visiting the Portland area. Thank you again for sharing your experience with me. It is greatly appreciated. Warm regards, Kahuanani
Everything great with a big exception - the king bed was a double, not even a queen Weird!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great stay for a good price."
It was everything we wanted it to be. Walking distance to everything downtown, valet parking, room service and spa and pool. However when I called to check on pool times I was told it was open until 10pm, but when we checked in, their holiday hours closed down an hour early.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place in downtown Portland"
We stayed there on a Saturday night. The room was very clean and quite. Our one year old slept well. The hotel is a block away from Pioneer square, which might be considered as the hearth of downtown Portland. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Great place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear A Verified Traveler, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are currently going through a renovation of our rooms in the executive tower at this time as well, and we hope you come back to visit us again. "Pool makes the surcharge for EVERYTHING palpable"
Nothing is free. From the hotel description it looks like wifi is included and breakfast is complimentary continental, but...nothing is free. Wifi is $10 a day and breakfast is charged per item; eggs, bacon, muffins, etc...all come with a surcharge. However, the hotel is full of polite, friendly staff and the pool makes the, somewhat price gouging, […] stay worth every penny! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Mr Dale, Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your stay. Response by Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Dear 'A Verified Traveller', Thank you for staying with us and thank you for taking the time to give us feedback regarding your stay. It is such a pleasure to hear that the service you experienced, is exactly what we expect from our team. As with some of the older properties, I must say that our rooms can be on the smaller side. We do have a second tower, where the rooms tend to be a little larger which is going through a complete update. Hopefully we will be able to welcome you back soon and show you the difference between the both of them. Warm regards.
Great stay. Rooms are very small but comfortable. My only complaint is the parking fee being $30 a day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Downtown stay close to venue across the river."
Really enjoyed our stay, pillows could have used a little more 'body' to them (fluffy but don't hold up). Our breakfast at the Porto Terra Grill was REALLY good! David was our 'at table' host and local comedian, really made the last morning of our stay MEMORABLE. We will be back again next year!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great downtown hotel!"
I love that this hotel is in the heart of downtown Portland. The hotel is along the MAX and bus lines. You can walk to all the nearby stores and restaurants. The room was clean and property is well maintained. The staff made check-in and check-out, a breeze. I look forward to our next visit to Portland. I will definitely be staying at the Hilton.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Hotel - Staff needs Smile Lessons"
This is a top drawer hotel located in the heart of the city. Beautifully appointed, comfortable rooms, good restaurants and a staff that really needs lessons in how to treat a guest. Only the happy go lucky valet staff were stand outs here. The concierge and bellmen were pan faced when greeted with a smile. No acknowledgment of you as a person, just […] a tasks to be completed. Super disappointing as I stay at hotels all over the country I thought Portland would be a more Bohemian vibe than stuffy. The registration staff was considerably more accommodating and did smile once or twice. When I suggested to the valet folks that their smiles really made my stay, but what was up with concierge/bellmen staff, they said, that is just the way those people are and apologized for them. I think there is some staff shuffling that needs to take place at this Hilton property. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"First time in Portland"
The location of the hotel was great. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the Max train was 1 block away. My only complaint would be that my room was very out dated. Bed was also a little uncomfortable. Other than that, I enjoyed my first time stay in Portland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Just for an overnight stay while attending the Blazers game. Ate in the Bistro 921 restaurant which was good food but a little limited. "Classy hotel with amazing customer service"
Amazing customer service. Staff went well out of their way to make my family and I feel welcome and make sure we enjoyed our time during our stay. The restaurant is delicious with knowledgeable staff and boasted a great selection of foods (all made in house with organic or natural foods). The rooms were general fair, however, clean. The room we had […] had a nice view of Pioneer Square. Many restaurants/bars/bakeries/etc are nearby the hotel. My top compliments, however, are still to the staff. "Great weekend stay at the Hilton!"
We came for a weekend stay in Portland with our infant. The room was perfect for us - size, cleanliness, proximity to restaurants, sightseeing, etc. And the mattress was AMAZING. Our baby slept so well on it - and so did we! Staff was really friendly too. Wouldn't mind staying at the Hilton again on our next visit to Portland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Weekend in Portland"
Overall the Hilton represented a good value. Great downtown walking location. Close to transportation. Excellent staff. Clean. However, we found out that there are two towers. One built in the 50s and one in the 80s. We stayed in the tower built in the 50s. Although comfortable, and recently renovated, we still found the room to "feel" a bit dated. […] If we stay again, we will request the newer room version. The only other critique to offer has already been reflected - the parking. Charges for daily parking at the hotel are excessive - considering they park your car offsite. If we stay again, we will park across the street from the hotel for about 1/3 of the price.
