Watch out on this one. They might offer a reasonable rate, but they charge an arm and a leg for parking (and street parking is very difficult) and they even charge extra if you want to use their Wifi. It really started us off on a sour note.

Located in the heart of Pasadena, it's a very conveniently located. It is an older hotel but it's had some renovations, so it's not completely out of date. The parking is expensive ($18/day), and the valets are a bunch of yahoos behaving badly. Pillows and bed sheet are not clean at all. I can see a lot of stains on it. Parking cost $18 overnight for hotel guest. Location is very convenient. However, I'd rather stay at San Gabriel Hilton next time.

Hotel and room were in good shape, nice neighborhood. Sadly this hotel charges you a silly fee for parking every night you stay, it just makes the hotel seem cheap and petty. Why don't they include it in the price of the room? Because no one would book it when there are other more reasonably priced hotels in the area. On top of that we were in the room […] for no more than 30 min when the phone rang. When we picked it up the front desk hung up on us and called the room again 2 min later (and hung up again). One of the mornings the cleaning staff knocked and then attempted to enter the room when we had a do not disturb sign on the door. The self park is a little confusing. The parking level of self park with the hotel entrance is not a parking level for hotel guests??? We couldn't find a sign directing towards the elevators so we carried our luggage down the stairs. Once inside a bead tradeshow was going on and the lobbies were extremely crowded, displays took up most of the walk way […] space and excited bead shoppers could care less about hotel guests trying to get thru the crowd. Front desk service at this hotel was amazing! They let us park our car an extra night even though we weren't staying in the hotel that night, and they let our friend park there, too. When I asked for a shaving kit and they had run out at the front desk, they said they would send one upstairs. We were on the 12th floor and were only in our room for minutes […] before someone showed up with the kit and then the front desk called a little while later to make sure we had gotten it! It was good, but the restaurant fell short of the rest of the hotel. The service in the restaurant is disorganized.... I ate breakfast there twice We were the first to arrive on the second morning and they showed us to a table and there was food in the seat... they moved us to another table and same situation. This Hilton was average. The hotel is overall very basic but had a comfortable lobby with a fireplace. The staff were friendly and offered good information and service. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. You have to pay additional for parking but this appears to be status quo in Pasadena. We booked this hotel at the last minute. Other hotels in the area were rated higher but were unavailable. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had to pay for parking (expected) but they did provide us with complimentary wifi (unexpected) for the evening so it worked out fine. My two college aged children and I stayed here for an extended Rose Bowl/Parade of Roses weekend. We found the staff exceedingly gracious and always prompt and helpful. We did not dine at the restaurant, given so many other options in Pasadena, but we used the pool, hot tub (during a very cold-for-LA weekend), and the fitness center. The kitchenette […] room was very easy for three with a roll-away and two double beds. The hotel is close to everything in town and we walked everywhere. We would definitely stay here again. Very comfy beds, clean and working bathroom, and fast elevators. Awesome view of the mountains from our balcony too. Guest laundry was a bonus. The hotel is fine, a little dated but very nice neighborhood so I would recommend. The young lady at front desk staff wasn't very friendly when I checked in, but the next few days someone else was there and they were helpful and welcoming. The pool looked nice but it was too cold out to use.

Convenient location, simple parking process relative to the commercial center of Pasadena. Ability to get a higher floor is a strong plus. Walls are a little thin; noise carries through the adjoining doors, but not excessively.

We were not satisfied since day 1. We paid for 2 rooms that were suppose to have 2 king size beds. However, we were given 2 rooms that did not fit this description. There was also extra charge of $18 per day for parking.........completely ridiculous.

THe only helpful and remotely welcoming people in this hotel were Virginia the concierge and the housekeeping lady. Front desk staff were snotty, incompetent and unwilling to actually help in any aspect. The price looks like cheaper but they hide some fees such as internet access $10 per day, self-parking $18 per night etc. The service is also poor. I tried to call the service and front desk many times for enquiries but never have people to pick the phone up.

Very comfortable, great customer service. It has its own Starbucks which was awesome. I would make this my favorite hotel in Pasadena as long as price is right. Only thing that was ok was price of Valet parking $20 per day, but I guess price is average.
