We stayed here last minute so we could get an extra hr of sleep before our honeymoon flight to cancun. We told her it was our honeymoon and she bumped... us up to a nicer room. The bed changed my life (not because it was the start of our honeymoon either) it was the most comfortable bed ive ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. Good Value. Only minor complaint is that some of the public areas, such as game room and elevator waiting areas smelled of cigarette smoke. Which is odd, because those are non-smoking areas. One highlight if you have kids might be the game room which had a pool table, foosball table and air hockey table.

We were on our honeymoon. I booked a room with a king size bed. When we got there, they signed us in, gave us our key and we went up to our room, to find 2 double beds!! When I called the front desk, they said they had overbooked and there's nothing they could do!! My husband and I ended up sleeping in separate beds. On our honeymoon. I was VERY upset. […] They told me that they could've canceled my reservation at check in since the room I wanted was unavailable. But since we had completed check in, there was nothing we could do. How could I have known that the room didn't have a king size bed, before checking in?! The room was a non-smoking room and it REEKED of smoke. The decor is TERRIBLE. It's like late 70's style. The grounds of the hotel are large and the rooms broken up into 5 units most of which are three story so a bit of a walk unless driving.. Surprisingly there was no airport noise even it is close by. The hotel is a half mile from I880 so convenient to downtown Oakland. The service is excellent. For example, our phone was not working and a repair was […] finished within 15 minutes of notification. The only annoying thing was charging extra for things like wireless internet, parking and movies. Although there was no "resort" fee to use the pool and fitness room. This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. We choose it for location. It was easy to drop off the rental car and have the hotel shuttle pick us up and tak us back to the hotel. It was a comfortable room with great beds, but the neighborhood was a little rough. The shuttle to the BART was terrific, and the driver saved us from a crazy drunk driver who cut us off. There was no ice maker on our floor, but since we did not see another guest the entire time we were in the hotel, we may have been the only ones who noticed.

We booked our stay last minute since our hotell at Bay Breeze was something horrible. The staf was nice and we got a good dinner at the sports bar wich was located inside the hotel area. We stayed one night before flying to Hawai'i. Free airport suttle!

We were very pleased with the accomodations, the staff and service. Good location with regular shuttles to the airport. I would stay here again.

I've booked one room with a King bed using the hotels.com website but when I had arrived to the hotel they gave me two queen beds instead! Even though I showed them my receipt that clearly indicated King bed. I feel like a pay way to much for the services that I got!

I have stayed several times at this hotel as Oakland is a required destination for work purposes. This last time was the only time that I can definitely say i did not enjoy my stay at all. The location of the room (2125) was nearest to the entrence of the building on the first floor. All night I heard noises coming from the entrance lobby. The walls […] are paper thin. I reserved a standard king room, over a week ahead of time. I checked in and was told the standard king rooms were sold out. My question is why give me a choice is why give me a choice if it does not guarantee anything that you request, plus you have to pay for parking daily. Bad experience, I would choose another hotel nearby.

It is a good hotel to spend the night before a morning flight out of Oak. airport. It is not in a Very Good neighborhood.

I don't agree with having to pay to park in a hotel lot when you are paying for the room. I have never had to pay for parking at a hotel before and I have stayed in many hotels. Unexpected and disappointing.

It was convenient with our New Years Eve plans. This Hilton is one of their older ones, but it does the job. It's clean, spacious, staff is friendly, and it was extremely affordable.
