Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is just a 5-minute drive from the Strip, and the Las Vegas Convention Center is a 6-minute walk from the hotel. McCarran International Airport is only 4 miles south. Guests who are driving may park for free at the hotel.

Monorail to the Strip
Guests can hop aboard the Las Vegas Monorail right at the hotel and easily travel to the bright lights of the Strip. Fashion Show Mall is about 2 miles away on the south end of the Strip across from Wynn Las Vegas if you'd like to hit the stores.

Lounge poolside
The hotel’s swimming pool and 25-seat hot tub are great places to kick back and relax. Cabanas and frozen cocktails from the poolside bar make this outdoor space feel like a tropical island resort. The hotel also has a casino, full-service restaurant, spa, and fitness center.

Rooms with views

This room was upgraded to new carpet and t.v's . Not all rooms are, be sure to ask for this. Its an extra 20$ but worth it. we also asked for the North... Tower rooms as this is the closest to the parking. We had the perfect room location near the end of the hallway elevator that dropped you right off at the exit leading to parking. Trust me its the best for bringing in your luggage and dropping off.. Don't take the monorail, its very expensive. just take a cab the one mile in to the strip. Or like we did, just drove our car in and parked at other hotels on the strip, its free. by cc from los angeles,ca on 05/11/13

International cuisine takes center stage here, whether it’s a tableside stir-fry show or a romantic Italian dinner--but there are plenty of casual eateries where you can grab an early-morning coffee or late-night snack. If you get a half-time hankering while betting on the big game, the SuperBook Deli offers 25 signature sandwiches as well as a breakfast menu. Before you head out for the night, stop by Fortuna--a coffee and wine café--for the free nightly wine tasting.

Benihana Village - Japanese pagoda huts, rock waterfalls, and a koi fish pond greet you at this 3-level Japanese-style steakhouse. Start your meal at the sushi bar, then take a seat at a teppanyaki table and watch trained chefs flip, slice, and dice stir-fries right at your table. Who says fine dining means you can't play with your food?

TJ's Steakhouse - Furnished in rich mahogany, this classic Las Vegas steakhouse features prime beef cooked over an open mesquite flame. TJ's is also an ideal spot to get your Vegas surf and turf or a plate of steaming crab legs.

Casa Nicola - Classic Italian fare is served alongside innovative Mediterranean dishes at this semi-formal restaurant. Sip wine and savor the antipasto as you watch your dinner being prepared in the exhibition kitchen.

Things to do

Ladies and gentleman, Elvis has re-entered the building. When it comes to musical impersonations in Las Vegas, nothing beats the King, and there's no better place to see him come alive than at LVH. Throughout his career, Elvis performed dozens of shows here, including a legendary run that became the basis for the documentary film Elvis: That's the Way It Is. Relive the glory days as Trent Carlini inhabits The King, performing more than 25 of Elvis' hits. The show spans 3 decades of costumes, music, and personalities, from the 1950s heartthrob to the Las Vegas heydays of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

You can catch even more rock and pop stars come to life, all for the price of one show. During one night at Impressions That Rock!, Greg London takes on a range of music legends, from Ozzy Osbourne to Johnny Cash to Rod Stewart. If you like a little country with your rock-and-roll, head to Boots on Thursday at the Tempo Lounge. Enjoy whiskey drink specials as local country radio DJs broadcast live from Club Oasis.

For some comedic salvation in Sin City, catch the musical comedy Nunsense. This award-winning show, featuring the wacky antics of 4 nuns locked in a church freezer, is presented nightly. The hotel's 3 stage venues also host a rotating lineup of musicians, magicians, and comedians.

The tennis club at Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is hard to pass up, even for racket rookies. Four of the 6 outdoor hardtop courts are lighted for night play, making it easy to work in a game or two. United States Professional Tennis Association pros offer beginner and intermediate lessons for individuals or groups. You can also sign up for daily adult clinics. At the pro shop, you can rent a racket, buy some balls, or rent a ball machine to maximize your practice time. After you wrap up your game, ditch the rackets and cool off in the pool.

Located on the 3rd floor, the 10-acre outdoor pool complex is buffered from much of the city noise while offering great views of The Strip skyline. Pull up a lounge chair and enjoy a poolside cocktail from the Cabana Bar, or spread out in style on a poolside bed. For some privacy, reserve a standard cabana, outfitted with a TV, refrigerator, and padded lounge chairs, or opt for a premium cabana with thickly cushioned, oversized day beds. It's not truly summer until your first pool party, and the hotel's got you covered with free poolside bashes every Friday night during the summer. Enjoy food and drink specials while jamming to a rotating lineup of live performers.

Our room was too hot and the air conditioner was not working properly. They were unable to fix it, but did not give us a new room. The water pressure was not good either causing the shower to be weak.

stayed here many times in past..this visit started with given the wrong room w/out explanation or apology. wouldnt move us till later next day. new room dirty w/ old glasses ,empty water bottles etc.linens and towels getting old. was given buffet tix .. the buffets were quite good w/ free champagne / wine and overall excellent food choices(especially […] made to order pasta).like location next to monorail but quality has slipped dramatically. We called housekeeping to clean our room at 1 pm and was told they would be there shortly. We returned to our room at 2 am and nothing was cleaned and the housekeepers never showed up!

Clean big and convenient! I know this hotel is not on the strip, but that doesn't matter the monorail is in the hotel, cheaper than a taxi! The stay at the hotel was very clean and fancy, wasn't expecting much when I got there and it exceeded what I was expecting. I'll be staying here from now on.

I've stayed here three times in the last 6 months. The LVH is a reasonably nice place to stay. Parking is convenient, direct access to the monorail. NIce restaurants on site. Amenities are standard and wi-fi costs extra. Only two pillows on a king size bed though? There are some aspects of the rooms that are showing age. I stayed at the lvh n it was not a good experience, the beds were so stiff and hard woke up with my shoulders neck and back all sore. The restroom was real small, the shower was tiny, the style of the room seemed very old school, I would have might as well stayed at a motel 6 or something! It's not worth staying here

Nice stay. Spotless room, nice toiletries, bright white linens, great showerhead, nice big flat screen tv, large room, very large closet, nice granite bathroom countertop and desk, comfortable bed. Optional self-parking which is nice (valet not required). Nice that there was no resort fee (was told this is changing in a few weeks though) and the deposit […] was only a $50 hold. The only negative was having a room by the elevator on a Friday night, with the drunk partiers coming in in the middle of the night it was a little loud, but this could happen anywhere. Room was very quiet otherwise, and the entrance was easy to get in and out of onto Paradise. Be prepared for a lengthy check-in on a Friday since people are just getting in for the weekend. Even with about 10 check-in clerks, I would estimate I waited about 30 minutes. Great stay and I highly recommend it. Read more

It was ok. Nothing too fancy, but I stayed in one of the nicer rooms. The only weird thing about it was the electrical. When I turned on the bathroom light, it made a weird noise by the shower. Very weird. I would recommend this place to others. The only issue was the hot tub not working.

So the LVH is not The Wynn, however the place can't be beat for value. Large rooms (they gave me a mini suite eve though they were sold out). The property has run down a bit and not on strip but easy to get in and out and monorail runs into hotel and I was seeing Hill/McGraw late show so a $10 round trip can't be beat. We went to LVH because we had a convention there at the hotel. The front desk attendant was absolutely wonderful but when we got to our room the bathroom sink was dirty and looked like it had ashes in it. We called housekeeping and they came up and clean it. The next day it was there again. As I was standing at the sink, water and big chunks of debris […] came up out of the drain and filled the sink and when the water slowly drained back down all the black dirt remained. We call housekeeping and they were going to call maintenance. They did not. That evening we called again and they said they would send someone up who never came. The next morning the tub was not draining. When I checked out I reported all of this and they told me they were sorry and let the housekeeping manager know. Overall, the hotel was okay. The casino didn't smell like smoke and the pool was nice. The carpet in the room was nasty - very dirty. I had a horrible experience at the LVH. I made the reservation for a king size bed and all they had were two queens. The room was outdated. The water in the sink would not go down and the shower would leak. I could here the water dripping when I was trying to sleep. The location was to far from everything. Rooms were clean and hotel overall was great. My only problem was my husband and I were looking forward to getting in the jacuzzi, but they charged to get in it and it closed early. Not a good idea.....

Was there to see the drag races and take in a few shows. Easy access to the track and convenient access to the tram to get us to all of the sights along the strip, shows, etc. Benihana in the hotel was exceptional!

I found my stay at LVH to be the best of all the 5 trips I have made to Las Vegas. It was a convenent, clean, adult enviornment. The staff was most accomadating when I needed a late check out. I will be returning to the city and will certainly consider staying at the hotel again.
